Description

Skateboarding isn't the only sport for those young enough to choose being cool over their own personal safety. Dave Mirra offers videogame extremists a chance to skin their knees, bloody their noses, and break their bones on a bicycle instead.

Overall: i bought this game when i got my xbox. played it once and put it away. a year later i pulled it out and stuck it in the box. i started playin and got real addicted even though it took longer to bust tricks. but it still got boring cause i was on the first level. the thing is im ashamed now cause i used cheats but it brought the game to life!!
Gameplay: great, the goals arent great though the levels are all done great to !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Graphics: great the levels are done really good i love the !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sound: pretty good sound compared to other dumb games i liked it a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall: This game is pretty fun it compares to THPS accept this is bmx. If you like the THPS series you may wanna try this one out.
Gameplay: This is a really fun game to play alone or with a freiend and theres alot to do and like 12 levels and 20 skaters to do it with. On each level you have challenges like THSP and you get money for completing each. Two player mode is insane!
Graphics: Graphics are good but not totally great. All of the bmxers look like they do in real life and the levels are smooth.
Sound: This is a great great game for sound because you can listen to your own music soundtrack so iits only as good as your own music. SOund effects are good too.

Overall: One of the better BMX games to come out in recent history. This is a great gameplay mix between the tony hawk series, the MX series, and the Amped (soon to be)series, but in a unique BMX package.
Gameplay: Very cool goal oriened gameplay. Keeps you hooked. Even better are the insanely hilarious and fun multiplayer modes
Graphics: Visuals ok, but a fair amount of jaggies, like on the Slim Jim Guy's Hair for example. Other than that, great levels and bikerr animations.
Sound: Basic Generic BMX sound. Decent soundtrack, with the custom feature. there.s not too much more to say about it.

Overall: Its a pretty good game that can be entertaining for a little while. It is also a challenging game.
Gameplay: I like the trick combinations that are possible in Dave Mirra 2. Theres an endless supply of them! The only bad thing I can think of is that the controls are sometimes very sloppy and unresponsive.
Graphics: The graphics in this game aren't that bad but they aren't something to brag about either. Its clear enough though to get around.
Sound: The sound in this game is very realistic. The songs are pretty good also. The game could probably have better songs.
Suggestions: You should make the challenges a little easier and have the controls be more responsive.

Overall: This game kinda blows, I mean the graphics are ok and all but the gameplay really sucks. The controls are terrible but there is a wide variety of tricks which can be made. I don't understand how to unlock new levelks it is so weerd. Only huuuuge bmx fans would truly enjoy this game.
Gameplay: As I said the gameplay licks goat cheese, the controls are sop akward and then all of the modes. Yes the modes they suck so much. In games where a is jump like in this one, a slows you down and makes you stop!
Graphics: The visuals are pretty good of the bikes and jumps. As well with the cars and grass and rails. Yeah so the visuals are ok but not the greatest.
Sound: The sounds of the falling and grunting when being hurten is good but then.......theres the music which really licks i harte the music.

Overall: A great game in the "extreme sports" genre. Many people do not know this but this series is the originator of alot of the things used in the genre today. Tony Hawk stole most of its gimmicks from the Dave Mirra series. The game has great gameplay.
Gameplay: Easy to learn, nice controls and depth. There is seemingly limitless possibilities for tricks in this game. The "mod" button is a force to behold. From barspinning tail grinds to no footed nose picks you can do it all. The gameplay is what makes and defines this game. A true innovator in video game history.
Graphics: Bland. While not completely horrendous the game still does not shine here. The perfect description is "Good PS2 graphics" which directly translates to mediocre Xbox graphics. The absence of any good textures and modern graphical techniques is quite obvious. It doesn't look completely bad though.
Sound: Decent. The sounds are what is to be expected and the music is also predictable. Some classic songs and sound effects lead to overall decency in this game. Sometimes the sounds get repetetive but overall expect adequecy. From what I can remember you can't use custom soundtracks.
Suggestions: Optimizing multiplatform games for the most powerful platform always produces good results. From there wash it down for the less powerful systems.

Overall: This is a fun bmx game. Its sort of like tony hawk but with bikes. Some of the challenges seem almost impossible and the gameplay is a little buggy.
Gameplay: There are lots of challenges. Some I swear are impossible and after playing for a long time I still have been able to finish them. There are lots of big tricks to pull off and a variety of riders to choose from. The different levels are designed pretty good too.
Graphics: The graphics are not a real strong point of this game. The environments are mediocre and the riders look ok too. Its nothing spectacular but it doesn't look horrible.
Sound: The music that comes with the game is ok but the best part is you can use custom soundtracks with the music from your harddrive. Its good to see this feature included in the game.
Suggestions: I think you should tone down the difficulty on some of the challenges.

Overall: Great@ I love trick games. Ever since I played the oxm demo on month 7 I wanted this game. That tells you how much appeal i mustve had for it.
Gameplay: Lasting, the challenges keep you busy, and if you are a video game perfectionist, it's a great game to keep you busy for a week or so..
Graphics: Graphics are C graded. THey could've delayed the game for a few weeks and fixed up the players. but at least their feet actually rotate the peddals. and the tricks look right.
Sound: The painful grunts sound real and the other sound effects are good. I have all my music tracks on here. I feel sorry for a friend of mine wit just the gamecbe version.

Overall: This is a great game. The controlls are decent, its always hard to get the exact buttons pushed to do the trick. Visually it was good, there are not real big problems with it and over all it looks great. The sound is great one of the games that let you put your own music in and listen to it why playing. The overall game is great I have had it for 4 or 5 months and still play it.
Gameplay: Gameplay is awsome. Their are a whole lot of tricks, that are not imposible to do. The buttons you press to do the tricks I have never liked but how else would you do it. Over all it is great you might press the button to do a backflip and end up doing a tailwhip, but it does not take anything away.
Graphics: Visualy it looks great. The characters all don't look alike, they each look like the person their so pose to be. The levels are all done well, and it looks great.
Sound: The sound was wonderful. The music it started with was great, but having the option to put your own music on their puts it on top.

Overall: there is a wide variety of tricks to pull of if you can get by some of the downfalls. first, there's nothing really new and innovative in the game. second, the physics try to be realistic but aren't. third, controls are terrible, and finally there are some glitches throughout the game. i don't think this series will ever come close to challenging tony hawk for gameplay, innovation, and gameplay.
Gameplay: the controls are sketchy. some times you'll be pushing forward, but he'll start peddaling backward. when turning in mid-air, some times you'll stick a landing when there's no way you should (front tire is sideways) and othertimes you'll crash a perfect landing; not bvery consisent. but other than that, quite a bit of area to explore and plenty of tricks.
Graphics: faces look decent; environment looks pretty well; don't notice much problems, but it's no where near the top of the line that the Xbox can push.
Sound: average soundtrack; has it's good parts and bad parts.

Overall: Its BMX game on XBOX YAY! too bad this game was horrid. bad phisics and horrid sound. and they lied to you telling you, you could create-a-rider but you cant.
Gameplay: two eXtra levels. and better graphics then PS2. Tricks are fun. not to mention you can hang on to cars! other wise this game was sad.
Graphics: Ewwwwwwwww..... PS2 graphics. the xbox can do better then that. they sould have made it look a little better. just like they sisd they would but it looks the same to me.
Sound: not too bad they only has like 5 music tracks. but you could listen to your own music. so that made up for it.

Overall: When they release the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater, i was really enjoying it. Ok it's took a while before he came to Nintendo 64 but at least he's there. All the new game that come from the father of trick was a copy to me and Dave Mirra is not a exception ! I mean they are all the same, when Tony Hawk is upgrading something all the other trick game take what was been upgraded. Let's talk about the game ! Dave Mirra is a Bmx trick game so it's mean that you can do a bunch of trick, have a lot of character and some challenge to accomplished. But what is different from any other trick game ? First of all, i think that Dave Mirra is not a pure trick game because you don't have enough score challenge, in fact there is one of them per levels and it's always easy. I am bored about knocking off some exit sign or make a tranfer and this is not really easy, probably the harder trick game of all times. One of the hardcore challenge on the first level is absolutly impossible to do. Of course, he got a multiplayer and i mean i really completed multiplayer. You got like 15 mod to play with one of your friends ( longest grind, biggest air ) but at the end they look like all the same.
Gameplay: The greatest gameplay ever done was probably the one from Tony Hawk and i can't say the same thing for Dave Mirra. They put some little thing that can make you really frustated, i mean : Why did sometimes our character is spinning in place ? Why the vehicule is hurting you at 100 km/h without trying to brake ? Why did sometimes our character take the wrong way ( push the joystic forward but he go backward ) ? Why the challenge are really tough ? Why the mod create-a-park is more complicated than the one from Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 ? All those question can answer how much i will put to the gameplay.
Graphics: It's time to talk about the graphic ! It's really difficult to say that Dave Mirra show the power of the x-box because it's not true. How could it be a must have if it is ps2 or a ps1 port ? I must admit they are ok but just check Halo and Rallisport Challenge, those game are the best for the graphic on the x-box. Did you see the face of Dave Mirra ? I mean he is looking so gay. Bad character, bad visual, no 3d model video it's really a shame for the x-box !
Sound: They put some amazing group like what Tony Hawk do habitually in his game but i mean does one song of Godsmack and Osi Osborn make me satisfied, no !!! In total you get more than 5 song to play, sound really boring and repetitive ! Ok it's support the custom soudtrack but with no dolby sourround it's like you are playing a song on a old sterio and when you select a new levels, he returns to her soundtrack.
Suggestions: I have too much to say, so read my review to have more information about what you should change ! I have a question for you : How much i mean did i put in my review ?

Overall: The XBox version of the game is something that is worth taking notice of, simply because the visuals aren't as muted as they appear on the Game Cube version of this title. Although the game is the same title that you'll play elsewhere, and nothing has been added to the overall game play itself, the control interface that you're dealing with here is something that just doesn't seem to cut it! The over-sized controller just doesn't seem to have the ability to effectively throw off the tricks that you're looking for, and if you're into high-scoring runs, it might just take you a while to get through them.

Gameplay: Where to start!? Dave Mirra has some of the most comprehensive game play to date in terms of the amount of tricks, trick lines and in game challenges anywhere. You can select from thousands of tricks, for 16 different riders, your skills will be put to the test through 7 different stages with over 20 challenges for each! You'll ride through the infamous Woodward Camp, to an industrial area, and even through a busy highway at dark. The game revolves around being able to perform several different challenges that rank from the easy to the insane, and through this, you'll gain Respect Points which will allow you to advance to different stages, unlock new bikes, and invite you to the different competitions.

Dave Mirra also features a gnarly multiplayer mode that allows you to do different events from proving that you're the supreme trickster with a Best Run mode, or to appease the twisted gamers out there, break your head open with a Wipe Out option! Aside from that, you'll find that there is virtually no change from the Playstation 2 title to both the Game Cube and the XBox. This will come as nothing of a surprise to some gamers, but those of you who are looking for some system-only type of improvements, just will not find them here in these two versions of Dave Mirra. Everything, from the Park Editor to the different stages that you have to complete challenges in has not changed in one single way since the PS2 release!

Tight control, and tight control means that pulling off tricks is easy to do with enough practice! Different buttons perform different actions, and the control set-up allows you to perform multiple tricks without much difficulty. Anyone who has played through the Tony Hawk games, will recognize the control set-up and beomce rather accustom to it after a few minutes, or it can easily be changed in the options interface. The only thing that I can say about the XBox version of the game is that the controller is so large and heavy, it'll take some gamers a little bit of practice to get through the different tricks and complete some of the level goals. While this isn't anything that some practice and patience won't get you through, it can be a little tiresome to try and link together a high scoring combination in a contest, and only have it fail because your finger touched an over sensitive button! The XBox controller just doesn't seem to have the right feel and overall handling that you may have run into with the PS2 version of the game. Disappointing to say the least, the XBox version was the more difficult of the three versions of the game that I've played, and it truly does take some serious practice to get the high-end tricks to work.

Graphics: Clean and clear, every rider is life-like, and each stage is huge and well detailed with plenty of action in the tricks, and in the background as well! What keeps this from being perfect is the fact that with some tricks in certain areas, you'll find that the image slows down, or that the camera angle blocks the way of seeing your rider. Other than that, everything moves with proficent speed, and you'll be a little dizzy when trying to bust out a no hander double backflip, and trying to get your landing just right for the maximum score! Again, with both of the versions that are available through the XBox and the Game Cube, there are no noticeable difference between the versions, other than the Game Cube looks to be a little more muted than the XBox version. These smaller differences with the game will not really throw too many people off who have played the game before, and if you've never played the title on the PS2, then you'll find that both versions of the game are just as clean and fluid as the other!

Dave Mirra is the closest that you're going to get to a good extreme sports game for a while, and it does beat out anything on the BMX game market right now. With impressive speed, killer soundtrack and a sick trick list that can be modified up into the hundreds, gamers will have plenty to do, and hardly anything to complain about! Worth a rental at the very least, hardcore BMX fans will probably want to add this to their collection with all of the famous faces and all the killer tricks available in this title. But that is where the comparison of the game really begins, because it is nothing different than the PS2 version, having been available for quite some time now.

Sound: Sum 41, Ozzy Osbourne and several other well known musical groups all contribute to the soundtrack of Dave Mirra 2. There is nothing like listening to Ozzy crooning and a Tribe Called Quest blaring while you're busting out a huge trick combination! The sound effects on the other hand are relatively low and boil down to grinding sounds, cars honking and the grunt and groan of your rider smashing into the wall or ground when landing wrong! With the Play Station 2 version being chief among the versions because of an earlier release, you'll still find that the XBox and the Game Cube both do the game music and sound justice throughout Dave Mirra, simply because of the CD format that the games are printed on! As with the other version of the game, everything here is virtually unchanged in the audio department, and gamers on either system (XBox and Game Cube) will find that there is plenty for the ears to help guide them through the game with no problems.

Overall: I really like this game, but I like tony hawk games and i'm really into mountain biking and used to be into BMX big time. I think that is important to note because if the environment of BMX doesn't appeal to you, you may not like the game as for the general audience i'd say the gameplay is medium. However, I really like the game as a nice variety to Amped, Tony Hawk etc because it is a little slower paced and a little more adventure oriented in addition to being an action game.I'm glad they make a biking game.
Gameplay: What is real amazing with this game and the new xbox system is the depth of the levels and the environment created. You really get emerged in the world of Dave Mirra.
Graphics: I think the graphics are great. I mean they will all continue to improve over time, but this is everything you need for great gameplay.
Sound: Sound isn't that important to me and if the soundtrack it comes with doesn't appeal to you, then just play music you like, who cares. i'll give this a high rating based on the other categories, even though it doesn't matter to me.
Suggestions: Add aspects of Mountain Biking as an additional element. Plus, i think having BMX racing like a Ricky Charmichael but on BMX bikes would be very cool; not at all exclusivity to racing, but just in addition to the existing freestyle aspect.

Overall: I think that the game is a very well created game overall. It has everything a BMX Video Gamer could ask for, All the riders, great levels, tons upon tons of tricks, and great challenges that can keep you busy for days. I've talked to many people that played the game not once, but many times, and they have all said that once you learn "the feel" for the game, it becomes second nature to lay out cool tricks and combos. Its also challenging as well, with all those objectives you have to do to impress the riders. Its all worth it at the end though, and leaves you satified. Definetly a game you must get!
Gameplay: When I first played the game a couple times, getting the hang of the controls has hard and I had a tough time doing ANYTHING. But after about a couple days of playing the game, I got the hang of it and it became very easy for me. I did so many phat tricks! Sure sometimes riding in the right direction is hard, and the riders something dont land where you want them to, but thats just a challenge you have to overcome.
Graphics: The graphics were created pretty good in my mind, everything looked sharp and where it was supposed to be. Nothing really floated around, or glitched up that much. I liked all the posters in the parks; all the different BMX Bike companies and BMX Clothing companies. That really made the game look more appealing to me.
Sound: I think that this game, without a doubt, has one of the best soundtracks in a video game ever made. There are so many cool songs on there that you can just ride too, pull off insane tricks. Plus, the audio of hitting the rails, verts, and just plain dirt is amazing, and it really takes you into the game. Good job guys!
Suggestions: Probably for better control of the rider. I got used to it, but I bet other people out there just got tired of it.

Overall: The appeal of this game is being able to do tricks on a bmx bike. The game is relatively fun. If you like bmx bike tricks you will like this game.
Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty fun. I found myself sitting down and playing for a coulple of hours. If I play a game for a couple of hours there must be something to the game. I found the tricks really fun and challenging.
Graphics: The game is allright visualy, I haven't seen any other bmx game come out or slated to come out for xbox that looks better.
Sound: I think the game could of been better in this area. From what I remember I heard birds chirping and some lame backround music. I don't put alot into sound though since i usually turn on my stereo.
Suggestions: Keep it up!! overall it was a pretty good game. Maybe add some new music and kick up the soundtrack. Maybe a few more features for xbox owners to make it worth their wild to purchase next years model.

Overall: Alright, I do have a background with BMX, as I've been biking for 2 1/2 years. Although I prefer to skateboard, I was definitely excited to play Dave Mirra 2. I knew the first had some glitches, but like many series, I thought they'd work them out. Unfortunately, sketchy gampeplay and ridiculous bugs proved me wrong.
Gameplay: This can't be said gently. Where there IS much opportunity for the engine, the flaws are shown miserably. Terrible Bike physics and ridiculous tricks make this game a little too unrealistic for my appeal.
Graphics: Not bad, remeniscent of PS2. Definitely does NOT use XBOX potential.
Sound: A large sound track and accurate sound effects are the game's strong point.
Suggestions: Improve the glitches and the replays, PLEASE!

Overall: this game is great! The graphics are just ok. I experienced some cliiping in hte levels but not too much. The gameplay is fun and addictive, with a bunch of tricks, a good multiplayer, and some good games modes, you'll be playing for hours. The characters, the bikes, the clothes, and the levels also look very good, and detailed. Overall this is a great game to buy even if you don't like BMX biking.
Gameplay: Great game, it is really addictive, with lots of secrets and unlockable items such as bikes and clothing, you will be plaing for hours
Graphics: The graphic were great all of the levels are pretty deatiled the characters faces lookj like their real-life counterparts, and the bikes and clothes look good
Sound: To me sound doesn't matter much because of the ability to play my own music by the sound affetcs are good and the ingame music (if you choose to listen to it) is great with everyone from Ozzy Osbourne to Sublime the sounds are really great
Suggestions: make tricks easier, make the levels bigger and make more secret characters

Overall: This game is the best bike game ever made. Tricks are easy and fun, fun gameplay modes, easy create-a-park feature, etc. and...WIPEOUT MODE!
Gameplay: 2 words...WIPEOUT MODE! Plus the tricks are easy and fun do to...I can (and have already) played this game for hours.
Graphics: Pretty good. Nothing special but who cares, the game is good. Graphics mean little if the gameplay is great.
Sound: Very good sound. I love hearing Dave's brains splatter on the concrete after doing a 360 front flip over the titanic channel on WIPEPOT MODE!
Suggestions: KEEP WIPEOUT MODE! and the easy trick system and dont make it suck like Tony Hawk does...

Overall: I'd have to say overall it's not a bad game for it's class, but it's certainly nothing spectacular. It just doesn't have that Tony hawk appeal.
Gameplay: This is the games major drawback, unlike tony hawk where the controls become second nature, in this you'll contantly be fighting with the controls and it becomes quite frustrating. They really need to be more responsive and accurate. The skids are limited and sliding around corners at fast pace is just impossible. Another gripe is that the tricks are unrealistic, can you pull a backflip from a standstill in real life? I don't think so.

This game has mannny bugs, the collision detect is flawed severely. when the bikers fall off they're bikes they look like !&%$@#* ragdolls.

Graphics: Since this is a port the graphics are expected to bit a little average, but I was actually quite impressed with them. The grass looks amazing, its actually individual blades, textures are awesomely detailed & the levels are absolutely massive with no slowdown (from the levels i've played)!!! I thought the lighting let the graphics down since its so basic. The characters look real enough, except their facial expressions are a bit weird.

Overall they get the job done.
Sound: The sound is very limited, when you fall off your bike the groans heard sound like they're out of a 70's porno. but since its a bike game, limited sounds are to be expected...

The music is the only thing that saves the game, lots of good stuff on there. gets you in the mood for busting tricks.
Suggestions: Just refine the gameplay till it's actually fun to play not frustrating. Add some !&%$@#* lighting which the xbox is so good at doing.

Make the objectives more fun, knocking over ladders? whats the point of that, honestly?

Overall: This is a great great game. I dont like extreme sports games, the i played JSFR. OK, this is a platformer not extreme sports, but it made me wanna get a agme with more combos in it. I rented this and it rules.
I really cannot wait til i find the money to get it.
Gameplay: Amazing. Huge areas to explore, and everywhere is as equally fun as the last part. And if and when u do get bored, create your own park!
Graphics: The graphics are notnearth shattering, yet good enough to understand. I feel the xbox could do far ebtter however.
Sound: The sound suits the game, even if u dont like this catagory, you will still enjoy it, it just suits the game so well.

Overall: Good clean fun! I was most pleased with this game for a variety of reasons. The multiplayer modes and the "proquest" modes can keep one playing for hours. With only minor flaws, which i'll get into under 'gameplay'.. this game gets a 4.5 overall. Good competition for Matt hoffman.
Gameplay: Awesome tricks, and satisfactory steering.. It's an acquired skill I guess.. But even after playing for like 3 days when I was supposed to 'knock over ladders', I had some trouble righting myself, and heading straight at them without falling into a bowl, or off a platform of some sort :-). But it's great for jumping etc.
Graphics: Nice graphics. nothing special, but they get the job done in a game that emphasizes gameplay and control.

I'd now like to draw attention to what appears to be a bug in the game, that I just love. When you wipe out, you can grab onto a rail or nearby ledge to keep your rider from falling by using the Y button. But more often than not, it'll make your rider flop around like a rag-doll, trying to breakdance. I call it dave mirra's 'seizuring'.
Sound: It gets a 4.0 alone for soundtrack support. This is an ESSENTIAL feature in a biking or sports game, It just sets the mood ;D . But I bumped it up to 4.5 because of the realism. Be it a nasty face-plant, or a grind along the hood of a car, this games's got the sound effect for it.
Suggestions: Include a mini game for best seizuring!

Best crash multiplayer mode was brilliant! Keep it up.

Overall: This game is quite possibly the best bike game ever made. Made in the tradition of Tony Hawk, this game has all the elements: decent sound, expansive levels, fun and challenging game play. While not quite to the level of THPS3, this game has certainly done the Xbox justice.
Gameplay: The replay value of this game is no different than the Tony Hawk series. There is plenty of stuff to do, and plenty of stuff to figure out and find. The controls aren't hard to comprehend, but it's the implementation that's hard to master. Getting to the next level is a chore, and almost too much of one at times. But it grasps you enough to give you that itch to try "just one more time" to get that last objective.
Graphics: The levels are both creative and huge. The first time I saw the grass, I was amazed... there were actual blades of grass there! However, the characters faces is another story. They all remind me of the character Flat Top in Dick Tracy, they're just too wide and almost sick looking.
Sound: I was pretty happy with the choice of artists and tracks. Worked really well for the game. Other ambient sounds... well, it's a bicycle, what do you want? It worked fine.
Suggestions: Some more interactive multiplay would be cool (see THPS3). In some of the levels.... (I'm gonna sound like a wimp here) ... it was too hard. Take it down just a little. Otherwise, thanks for making such a cool game for us!

Overall: Great gameplay, very good graphics. Lots of levels to choose from and make your way up in the carreer mode. Lots of bikes and riders to choose from. Great songs on the soundtrack to choose from. Very good game. You won't get bored of it anytime soon. :)
Gameplay: The gameplay is incredibly cool. You can get a lot of air in this game. The controls are easy to master, so you get used to them in around 2 minutes or not even that. There is lots to explore in this game. The level maps are quite big and anywhere you can see you probably can go there. There is lots of bikes and riderz to choose from. If you get bored of riding all the other tracks, you can go ahead and open up the create a park option and create your park. Lots of different kinds of scenes to pick from here to. Great game.
Graphics: Wow. This game ran very very smoothly. The textures on the jumps and the rider were very cool. Another cool feature was all the different views you could choose from in the replay mode. The reflections off everything were very good. You can tell apart each BMXer in the game. So the faces of the BMXers were very well done.
Sound: Lots of good songs from the soundtrack on the game. The actual BMX bike are very cool, such as when you are flying down a hill your tires will start making noise such as it would in real life. Also if you get lots of air and land it will make a big landing sound, therefore if you hit a smaller jump it wouldn't make as big as a landing impact. So very very good in the sounds in the game.
Suggestions: None that i can think of right now. ;)

Overall: This is the best Biking game avaliable on any system right now. If you like BMX this is the game for you. It has better graphics for the XBOX and 2, yes 2 new levels exclusively for the X.
Gameplay: The gameplay is good, and those familiar to the Tony Hawks titles will be a ble to catch on quick. There are tons of space in each level and tons of unlockable stuff to keep you busy for a while. The controls are somewhat easy to learn.
Graphics: The visual is really good except for the characters faces. They look very bloated, kind of like they need laxative relief for their constapation. Other than this minor error, the graphics a good.
Sound: The sound is good. The soundtrack can grow annoying and repetitive, but luckily the XBOX has the ability to rip your own jamman' soundtrack.
Suggestions: Make better graphics, and keep up the good work.

Overall: You do the trick's and you get the pro's respect. This is the game's main feature when you choose one out of 14 top riders to put your wheel direction to the limit around the city, water parks and bike parks. In this game you have an awesome option of designing your own BMX park, which is excellent if you dont like the ones that are already created for you. So if there is no way you like the ones created you can make your own. But you first and foremost you should check out that parks already made. They are really big and there is plenty to view and some of them can take up to 2-3 hours each just to try out the jumps and ramps. It is a similar version to Tony Hawk except it is using BMX, so I would suggest to those who are getting a bit tired of Tony Hawk's usual to try this game's capabilities.
Gameplay: A good game comes a good gameplay and this is what Dave Mirra has to offer you. All the controls respond quickly, the only hard feature is pulling off some of the tricks, about 20% of them are hard, but once you get them you should remember them. After you advance more into the game the tricks do get harder but its to give the player a challenge. If you just want to pick up the game and just free ride, you can pull of tricks and improvise and find out what the basics of the game is. It also certainly helps when the buttons are positioned nicely and of course..they are!
Graphics: These graphics are brilliant! The texture of the objects surrounding you are amazing. The city, buildings, ramps, jumps, graffitti on walls, even the rider you choose is really nicely made and all have a 3D look and feel to them.
Sound: The sound effects are really good, you hear the simple small sounds from bird to the crashing of yourself and the bike against the hard concrete that the riders face has seen so much of. The music is good but the best of it is, is that you can play your own SO you can make your own park, with your own ramps, with your own music to create your very own style! wow eh?
Suggestions: Nothing .......... great game !!!!
