Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2
Overall: I think that the game is a very well created game overall. It has everything a BMX Video Gamer could ask for, All the riders, great levels, tons upon tons of tricks, and great challenges that can keep you busy for days. I've talked to many people that played the game not once, but many times, and they have all said that once you learn "the feel" for the game, it becomes second nature to lay out cool tricks and combos. Its also challenging as well, with all those objectives you have to do to impress the riders. Its all worth it at the end though, and leaves you satified. Definetly a game you must get!
Gameplay: When I first played the game a couple times, getting the hang of the controls has hard and I had a tough time doing ANYTHING. But after about a couple days of playing the game, I got the hang of it and it became very easy for me. I did so many phat tricks! Sure sometimes riding in the right direction is hard, and the riders something dont land where you want them to, but thats just a challenge you have to overcome.
Graphics: The graphics were created pretty good in my mind, everything looked sharp and where it was supposed to be. Nothing really floated around, or glitched up that much. I liked all the posters in the parks; all the different BMX Bike companies and BMX Clothing companies. That really made the game look more appealing to me.
Audio: I think that this game, without a doubt, has one of the best soundtracks in a video game ever made. There are so many cool songs on there that you can just ride too, pull off insane tricks. Plus, the audio of hitting the rails, verts, and just plain dirt is amazing, and it really takes you into the game. Good job guys!
Suggestions: Probably for better control of the rider. I got used to it, but I bet other people out there just got tired of it.
