Overall: Fun and exiting at first but after a while it got kinda boring. It just didnt stand out like i hoped it would. but it was still satisfying.
Gameplay: Controls might seem a little....complicated at first but overall they will be easy to learn once you get passed the odd button placement.
Graphics: A bit fuzzy when looking into long distances on the game but short distances gives it really good look. Overall i think the visuals arent perfect or bad but they certainly could have been better.
Sound: Sounds were a bit....generic. But nevertheless they were still in good quality for how easy and simple the sounds were.
Suggestions: try to make it more like starwars the movies where you have a lightsaber no mater what. The sword fights would be cool if they happened all the time.

Overall: This is my first Star Wars game I have ever played, and if I didn?t win this game on XBA I probably never would have. I have grew to like this game and now I play it almost everyday.

Gameplay: This is one of the best RPG?s I have ever played. Very fast paced and fun to play. If you?re an RPG fan or Star Wars fan then I highly recommend this one for your collection.
Graphics: The players faces are not the most realistic, they have some work to do. However the environments are well done.
Sound: Very good voice-overs and realistic weapon sounds. The background music is good, goes along with the action.

Overall: a outstanding RPG set a long time before the orginal episodes of star wars, such a great game, a learning experiance, and a load of fun
Gameplay: not your standard RPG, its a new system of real time/ role playing... i dont know how to describe it, you play as you go i guess
Graphics: good, but not great, some places look great, while others lack polish, but it doesnt take away from the game itself
Sound: great authentic star wars sounds and voices, very well put together. not rushed, and very polished.

Overall: I own two copies of this game and have played it over 500 hours. I have played every part of the game including all of the character's side-missions and the secret parts such as joining the assassins guild. This game is the greatest RPG ever created! And the ending made me leap out of my chair (Let me remind you this is the fourth day of straight playing, besides bathroom and food breaks, and I'm deshevled looking and weak. So being able to leap out of the chair really says something!)
Gameplay: I am not a big fan of clicking tool bar buttons to fight, but nevertheless it was still great. Their is a lot of replay value in that their is always something to find that you have never found before...like the galaxy droid. You can even kill certain people that were supposed to come on the ship with you, but your actions changed that.
Graphics: Visually stunning! When the lightsabers clash sparks will fly everywhere. The water, and fields are b..e..a..utiful!
Sound: Classic Star Wars! The lightsaber, blaster, ect. sounds are just as one would expect. The music is also one of the best. The music is very calming and placid..it draws the character into the star wars universe.
Suggestions: Please just add real combat I do not like pressing the attack button to accomplish a pre-set attack...I want to control the jedi...But everything else is awesome!

Overall: This is a nice, long RPG. It lasted me about 45 hours the first time through and it's worth going through a second time to be good/evil. Some of the attributes don't seem to be very usefull at all (repair was rarely used and treat injury only helps your ability to use medpacks but eventually you get force heal which is just better then health packs). Good twists throughout the storyline and there was variation in the gameplay to keep it from getting boring.
Gameplay: The battle system was a mix of real time and turn-based (it's real time but you can pause to give orders), which at first seemed unskilled but will grow on you. In the beginning, you feal like your just watching a fight take place. As you start having a larger party and harder enemies you need to issue many comands to win, so you get more involved. A minor flaw is that badly done minigames, like shototing enemy ships that are attacking you in space. They were a bit to sporadic and didn't seem to effect the game; no matter how bad I did, I always seemed to win those fights.
Graphics: I liked the visuals. They were grand in scale but never seemed to cause lag issues. The enviroments also managed to vary from planet to planet so that you felt you were really going to different solar systems. The characters weren't special but they were solid star wars creations, nothing wierd or unexpected. This was a good thing since they were taking what already exists and embelishing on it.
Sound: The best part of the sound was all of the recorded dialogue. There was hours and hours of it in there, everything spoke to you. The voice acting was done believably for the main characters which is something that has hurt games in the recent past. There isn't much I can say about the soundtrack, it wasn't particularly notable but it supported the action without becoming repetitive.
Suggestions: Fix balance issues and make less cardboard allies. It would also be good to have some actions that fall on the middle line, and not to the extremes.

Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome, you can choose to be more dark, or more good! I loved the fact that almost anything is interactable! And the battle's involve turn based action!!!
Graphics: Oh my god! This game dominated visually! All the different objects, characters, environments were amazing! I especially liked the explosions, and other special effects.
Sound: The sound was awesome! All the weapons made different noises, the sound effects were well done. And to top it off the voice acting was amazing!

Overall: Overall this game beat my expectations. I'm not really a big star wars fan, but this game made me like it even more.
Gameplay: The gameplay is unique. The fighting is done automatically. Plenty of people to meet/do. Very nice side quests.
Graphics: The visuals on the game are pretty good..could be better, but they beat most games on the market pretty easily.
Sound: The sound is great for star wars. I thought this is the one expectation where they could of done 10/10 since it is Star Wars.
Suggestions: Maybe you can turn to the dark side. Maybe you can do the fighting yourself. Hard to give suggestions without dramitially changing the game.

Overall: this game is great cause you can choose what side of the force you gonna be on, im Good this time round, but next im going BAD! its great it will be a tottally new game when i go evil.
Gameplay: there are a lot of different skills and controls for this game which is great, you can heal your entier party, and learn new attacks. You can requier special computer chips for your robot partners and much more, i still dont know what some of the skills do cause only one side of the force can achieve certen powers. but so far ive learn alot about star wars in general about the light side and want to learn more about the dark side when i play next time around.
Graphics: the visuals are great and the combat moves (with swords/light savers) look real with great swords man ship and Moves.
Sound: sounds are just like your playing the movie, with good voice overs and some good one liners from a droid who refers humans as meatbag's

Suggestions: maybe you could make the fighting parts more real by having you control the players doging abilities

Overall: i really did not have time to get into this game, so i feel it would be unfair to class it as good or bad.. but i am not hugely familiar with rpgs... and as good as this game probably is... i found it hard to get into. not one of my personal choices of games... but the majority like it so it must be good... i think with a bit more time to get used to the gameplay and story i could have been hooked like so many others... i sugest that you give this game time
Gameplay: i was new to the style of gameplay, but im sure if i had rented it for longer than a day i could have got used to it. i found it tricky, but never had time to get used to it... a bit difficult in my oppinion... but rpg games usually are at the beginning
Graphics: not visually impresive for xbox... not bad, but not good.... just average. maybe a couple of yers ago, but outclassed today.
Sound: sound is really just average... voices all sound like they were recorded in a studio... which they were, but the player of the game is not supposed to know that, the audio should give the impresion of being in the environment in the game
Suggestions: graphical improvements, and a better tutorial

Overall: Thrilling RPG set in the Star Wars universe.Great if you have 40+ hours to burn. Only complaint I have is that it gets boring somewhat quickly.
Gameplay: KotOR(thats Knights of the Old Republic for those of you who have been under a rock for the past year)is set 4000 years before the movies. You play as a character who you create who wakes up on a Republic vessel that is under attack by the Sith.Having no clue about how or why your there, you attempt to escape the ship before it becomes another statistic in this brutal war.But do not worry, you are not alone. You will have 11(if you include Trask) party members who each have their own unique personalities, talents, and even quests. The game uses a real-time turn base system which at first sounds like a terrible idea but is actually pretty cool. You combat enemies like the Sith to thugs to strange creatures using melee weapos like Vibroswords and lightsabers, or you can use Ranged Weapon's like blasters. You can interact with NPC's(thats Non-playable characters for the rock people) to find new quests. There is over 10'000 lines of diolague in the game so you are given multiple choices on what to say.KotOR's story is very intriguing and one of the best RPG's I ave ever played. However, the game is quite easy no matter what setting you have it on. Also, once you see both endings and after the 4th time I went through the game I got bored.
Graphics: The visual's are actually quite amazing in KotOR.I'll tell you one thing, it definitely has its moments.
Sound: Sound is average. Exactly what you would expect from a Star Wars game.Dialogue is well done and the voice's sound great.
Suggestions: The bar is raised. Let's see someone else climb over it.Best RPG on XBox in my opinion.Hopefully Bioware, you know what your doing by have Obsidian
develope KotOR 2:The Sith Lords(Due December 6th). Nevertheless, I have faith.

Overall: I approached this game disliking Star Wars, comparing it to The Matrix in terms of geeky boredom. But I left respecting the fact Star Wars has grown to be more than a few films, but an entire fictional universe, with some of the greatest storylines I have witnessed. I really got into this game, and it's perhaps the best Xbox game I have played to date.
Gameplay: This game plays great, I was skeptical about turn based combat, but it's handled pretty well. Control is responsive, interaction is handled well. It's a fun game to play, you don't end up frustraited, and although the game isn't exceptionally hard, it provides a good challenge. The outstanding story means you'll want to continue playing just to find out what happens more than anything.
Graphics: Not the most outstanding visuals I have seen, but some effects are fantastic, water especially. I'm slightly disapointed at the lack of detail in certain places is slightly disapointing, but the visuals do their job well, and the outstanding gameplay and storyline means you don't care too much about the graphics. Overall, good, but not outstanding, but as long as the lightsabers are done well, which they are, then all is well.
Sound: Sound is handled well, lightsabers and blasters sound exactly as their should, general effects are excellent to match, familar musical interludes are present, but its the amazing amount of dialogue which really is impressive, every conversation is voiced, and considering the amount of characters and possible outcomes, that's alot of time spent in the studio.
Suggestions: For KOTOR II, not that much needs to be done, just futher the story of the first game.

The rest of the game is quite outstanding, just tightening up what's already there would do just fine.

Perhaps some more DLC, but I'm not sure this is even needed...

Overall: Really great game, could of had more help on the getting around to the next mission thing. Had no idea how to kill the rancor.
Gameplay: Allright gameplay, but you had to manuver weirdly to get the camera to focus right, and sometimes your team mates would start firing for no reason and your cover would be blown.
Graphics: Great visual effects, the force moves looked very realistic, blaster bolts very nice, all menus streamlined, but the characters were etchy.
Sound: Everywhere there is sound, its awsome, the sparks coming from ripped wires, the roars of monsters, you get the point.

Overall: I'm not a fan of rpgs. KOTOR is an exception. This game is the most addicting game ive played. It's plot is extremely good, regardless of the fact its a game. The game is enormous, and while the gameplay is varied, with minigames, by the end I was tired of playing; granted this is after 15 hours of playing
Gameplay: There is a ton to do in this game. While your ultimate goal is to defeat the sith, the side quests are aplenty. You can do anything from hunting monsters on Tantoine, to fighting in death matches on Taris. Combat is turn based, but after you choose your attacks battle becomes real time. As you progress through the game you can develop new physical attacks, as well as force attacks

Graphics: The visuals are good. The cities and landscapes are incredible, just look at the ruins on Korriban.
Sound: The voice acting is good, sound effects are good, the only negative is the music is repetative, and somewhat annoying

Overall: This game is the best RPG i have played since Super Nintendo. By far the best RPG of it's type. More enjoyable than any other game i have played on Xbox, I couldn't put the controller down until i beat it. Now i'm playing through it again on the light side. The plot is superior to any of the new Star Wars movies and is reminiscent of Empire in it's twists and unexpected plot points. Best story of any game on Xbox by far
Gameplay: The gameplay is good, I was skeptical when i first learned it was a turn based 3D rpg, i didn't think it would work properly, but i was wrong. It works well for the game and the fighting looks great even though you don't necessarily control everything you do. The menus are easy to use and control is superior.
Graphics: Graphics are great. Lightsabers look really cool, especially when fighting more than one other jedi at the same time. The settings are beautiful, especially the outdoor plains and hills. The character models are well done and look great. A+ on the graphics for a game of this kind.
Sound: I can't say too much about the sound, i don't exactly have a great system to judge it on. But with the setup I have the sound is very immersive, classic Star Wars sound effects, really helps the feel and flow of the game.
Suggestions: I would suggest making more weapons upgradeable and making the color crystals for the lightsabers have distinct effects as well. Story was great, although i think it would be interesting to change the main storyline depending on whether you are leaning light side or dark side, makes it a more interesting game. Especially since the main storyline in KOTOR makes way more sense for a darkside character. Great job guys and I can't wait for the sequel.

Overall: I was one of those people who coun't wait for KOTOR when it was annouced. I knew that it showed great promise when Bioware and Lucasarts teamed up, but I still had a fear that it may turn into another medicore title. I had purchased Star Wars: Obiwan for the xbox when it was released and it was a game that had alot of promise but didnt fulfill in any of its aspects, luckily Lucasarts has learned from there mistakes.

Gameplay: Game Play--8--
When I first picked up the game I feared that the controls would be difficult but luckily the tutorial at the start of the game explains every aspect of what needs to be done. But sadly watching your commands flow is where the game runs into problems. The entire game has slow down which gets to become a big hindrance, but since it has never led to a complete game freeze I won't say it hurts the game to bad
Graphics: n though the graphics in KOTOR are not the worst i've ever seen they sadly do not break much ground in upgrading them, even though they are not terribile graphics it surprises me to how much detail they could have spent on them. But just because there is room for improvement doesn't mean that it hurts the game.

Sound: Sound--10--
The sound in KOTOR is simply out standing whether your creeping through the sith temple or walking in an open field the sound realisim always makes you feel that your in a living breathing world, I normally don't pay much attention to sound but in KOTOR you can't help but notice how wonderful of a job they've done.

Overall: Starwars: Knights of the old Republic is my favorite game of all time, because of many things, the gameplay is flawless, the sound is perfect, and it's Starwars!
Gameplay: The control is awesome, the fighting engine is great for this type of game, the puzzles are challenging, the story is masterful, the D&D style level development and fighting engine works wonderfully, I honestly can't think of anything wrong with the gameplay.
Graphics: The in-game visuals are not to say the greatest, but the plentiful cinemas with great graphics make up for it, and because i don't really care about in-game graphics (except for shooters 'cuz then you can't tell who you are shooting, but this isn't a shooter is it?)I'll still give this game a high score.
Sound: Classic starwars, the music and sound effects are true to every starwars movie ever made. Perfect!!!

Gameplay: The gameplay enhances on the style of normal rpgs to give a much more involved feeling. Rather than following a tight linear plotline, you are allowed to make decisions for yourself, and change the outcome of the game.
Graphics: Gameplay graphics are excellent. cinematic sequences were a little rought at times, but overall it looks really nice.

Overall: Knights of the Old Republic takes you on a ride. Putting you in full control in 6 huge planets. This is done rarely in any game, But is even more rarely done right. This along with a solid story that has 2 very different ending, makes it the best game of 2003.
Gameplay: The game is a role-playing game first, and a Star Wars game second. Therefore the game uses turn-based game play. When you fight an enemy, and are picking attacks it still moves very quickly, in-fact if you don't pick an attack, the computer will. Free roaming levels are large and fun to explore.
Graphics: The game is the best in almost ever area. This is why it has gotten great reviews. However, when you look at the game and place its graphics besides some of the other games, its really only average. Not to say the graphics aren't good for video games. They are above average, bit, this is a Xbox title and you aspect it to be top notch in the visual area.
Sound: Every Star Wars game has amazing sound. The classical sound found in even the worst Star Wars games (Obi-Wan).
Suggestions: Bio-ware has done an amazing job with this game. But, the game had a few flaws. Firstly, the planets that were available were fairly boring. The Sith Planet was neat, and the Manaan was a nice level, but most were boring. The other problem were loading times! I had to load every 10 minutes! That was poor level design. The only other thing, that could be improved was Content Download! There is nothing!

Overall: There are, I believe, three kinds of of RPGs, 1) menu driven, 2) action driven and 3) lots of reading. This title falls into the action category. This is quite fast paced for an RPG, yet set in the familiar and popular Star Wars universe, the action is very easy to get into.
Gameplay: Interesting characters, great gamplay control and elements, and a good amount of customization. Yet when compared with Morrowind, not as much customization in what you can create and what you can build your character(s) into is available. Yet many facets of play and progress are included which greatly ups replay value.
Graphics: Probably the best Star Wars game visually ever. Lightsabers, wookies, blasters, sheilds, speeders, planets, beaches, everything in this well created universe comes through in such an awe inspiring way that makes you want to see it all and more.
Sound: The game does well here as well. The authentic droid, combat, language, environemnt(space) and character interaction cutscenes doen great. While I usually cut a game down for repetitive soundtracks, the classic themes and new backgrounds ring through clearly and keep you motivated your gameplay.
Suggestions: Add more customization in character creation and perhaps take a hint from Morrowind and make more guilds, orders, etc. to join. Plus, being able to buy other forms of transportation and explore more planets (sorry alot to ask for I know), will up replay tenfold.

Gameplay: I really didn't like the turn-based/real-time fighting, It was too unorganized for me. I like how you could run around in battle, but it wouldn't dodge an attack? The guns were cool, and the world is awesome. The environments were really well done.
Graphics: Not visual eye-candy but its not at the bottom of the barrel, it doesnt really meet Xbox standards, but hey it gets the job done.
Sound: I really loved the sounds, the voice-overs were phenomenal, the guns sounds, grunts. You name it, I think this had the best sounds from any game ever made.

Overall: One of the best RPG's I've ever played. The storyline basically revolves around the Sith, which are an evil army that can control the force, but they're more like Dark Jedi. I'm not saying that their Dark Jedi, but their powers come from the Dark Side. I won't reveal much else besides the fact that for the first planet you have to rescue the Jedi Bastila. She's a great asset to the Light Side. The gameplay is terrific, all the dialogue is interesting and the voice acting is superb - even the aliens sound real, even though it can sound repetitive at times. The side-quests are fun and interesting, same goes for the mini games such as: Swoop Racing, in which you have to beat a course as quickly as possible and try to beat others times. The graphics are tight, but nothing over the edge. One thing I have beef with is the combat system - basically it's a turn-based system (DnD like). And it doesn't let you really do the moves, just make the commands. It's basically go left, click and you watch the combat cinematic. The cinematics are cool, but the combat is more strategic than action-like. It also features dozens of Force powers and most of them are effective and interesting.
Gameplay: Combat is turn-based, you click on the move you want your character to make and you watch the cinematic. Based on your characters skill you can do a lot of damage with one blow, for example if you get the Flurry power you can do 3 moves with one shot, and as you get stronger each move gets a lot more damage. You can choose to be either Soldier, Scoundrel and Scout. Which is basically a Fighter who is better at combat, a Theif who is good at sneaking around and a Scout who's smarter. Most of the time you'll be running around completing different quests like most RPG's, and most of them are very interesting and rewarding once you finish them. At the end of each quest theres a pretty long and interesting movie that makes you feel good about completing it. Half a point off because of the not very immersive combat system.
Graphics: The visuals aren't over the top but they capture the mood very well. The different looks of planets are great, especially Manaan which looks beautiful. The models are OK, but the facial expressions are non-existant which is a little disappointing, same goes for the lip synching - its just mouth goes up mouth goes down mouth gets wide mouth gets long. Basically, graphics are good but nothing more.
Sound: Voice acting is superb both on humans and on aliens, even though some aliens can sound repetitive and it sounds like they're saying the same things over and over. Music is outstanding, well its from Star Wars so what can you expect, and sound effects are incredible - light sabres sound exactly like the movies. Top notch!
Suggestions: If it has XBox Live you might as well add some new quests or something... Weapons on XBL aren't that interesting. Get better graphics, and improve the Combat System.

Overall: Knights of the Old Republic is the best RPG I've played yet. It has a great story line, multiple ways to beat the game, and well over 40 hours of gameplay.
Gameplay: The gameplay is perfect, except for not allowing the player to pan up and down with the camera angle. Aside from that, the controls are straightforward, and I never had any trouble getting my character to do what I needed him to do. Like I said before, the game has at least 40 hours of gameplay. It took me about 48 hours to get through the game, and I didn't do everything there was to do in the game (I didn't do much with Pazaak, a card game, or swoop bike racing). After you're finished, then you can play the game again on the other side of the Force and with a different class.
Graphics: While the fighting is turn based, and you have to pay attention to your queue, it doesn't look turn based. Of course, Bioware did a good job with the animations, and once you have three Jedi characters running around with two lightsabers or with lightsaber bows, there are rings of color all over the place. I was impressed visually, be it in the fighting animations or the variety of worlds, spaceships, weapons, and characters.
Sound: The game uses all of John Williams' original score from the movies, making the music pretty hard to argue with. The voice overs are good, the sound effects are good. There's nothing to complain about.
Suggestions: Naturally, I want more. The game was perfect, but now I need a sequel.

Overall: I think this game makes the X-Box worth buying. It is incredible and fun. This brings the Star Wars franchise to all new heights.
Gameplay: The gameplay is easy enough for a four year-old and fun enough for a hardcore gamer. Just point and click (little for complex than that put you get the drift.)
Graphics: It is beautiful. Brilliant colors and textures; much like would you see in the Star Wars pre-trilogy saga.
Sound: It is the classic Star Wars tunes with some new ones added in. The battle effects are absolutely amazing and go ver well.

Overall: RPG's are sometimes dull, drawn out and dissapointing. However, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a definate exception. Not only does it feature an enthralling story, top notch gameplay and beautiful graphics, its exclusive to Xbox. A true acheivement for Bioware, the game's developers.
Gameplay: The game begins allowing you to choose a character class, from the options of Scoundrel, Scout or Soldier. This choice will have an effect on your leveling so choose carefully. There are a total of seven planets, aswell as certain periods of time on space ships or space stations to complete. I don't want to givr too much away, but you will definately recaognise some from the Star Wars films. The thing that will thrill many people, is the oportunity to use a lightsaber. That said, there are many other useable weapons in the game, such as swords, vibroblades, blaster rifles/pistols, and many others. When you become a Jedi in the game you will also have access to a wide range of force powers, including the infamous choke and lightning abilities. These and other skills, including weapon proficiency are gained in the classic RPG style, by leveling up. You will gain excperiance points in game for completing quests or engaging in combat, which allow you to level up when enough are gained, awarding skill points and feats according to your class. The maximum number of level ups is 20, so choose your skills carefully. The game lasts around 40 hours on a normal combat difficulty, which can be changed as you wish in the options menu. The most enthralling aspect of the gameplay is that to choose either the light or dark side, and each has a different ending. This adds tonnes of replay value, you'll want to play this game more than once, perhaps more than twice. (I know I have) Combat is fast and enjoyable, although you do not have full control over your combat, instead the action is turn based, but the resulting eye candy is quite something to experience. You will often lead a team of up to two other charaters with you during play, they will aid you in combat and provde tips during the game. This dark/light alignment is influence by your decisions in the game, so be careful what you say or do if you want to remain in the light... The story and missions involve huge ammounts of interactivety including choosing your own speech. Theres too much to explain all at once, but this game is an excellent RPG, and should appeal to those who have never tried the genre, or even dint like Star Wars, its that good.
Graphics: The Graphics are good overall, but a few small details can be seen, although non are large enough to detract from the enjoyment you'll gain in playing it. The games frame rate slows down on the odd occasion, and in certain areas the seams between polygons are visible. Again nothing major. There are however some nice details, the combat sequences look exceptional, the long grass in some levels will brush gently around the legs of your character, and lightsabers glow in a quite satisfacty way.
Sound: The music takes a little turn from many other Star Wars themed games, by not only featuring aspects of John Williams own score, but also a sound track of its own. The new music does repeat alot though, but is not the kind of Repetition that Grinds on your nerves, but rather the type that will have you humming it when washing the dishes.
The soundeffects are classic Star Wars, straight from the movies. The swinging lightsabers sound great, not to mention that all the dialogue in the game is spoken! And to a proffetional level at that!
Nicely done.
Suggestions: This game is fantastic. Bioware has already said that there will be a sequel, although when is unknown at the moment. In the sequel a small graphical make over would be in order, just to tidy up the edges, but if the next game equals this one in quqlity, it will definately be another hit.
