Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Overall: Okay I played this at my friends house, while on vacation. There was nothing else to do! Luckily it was time well wasted! I loved this game it one of the best RPG's in the world!

Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome, you can choose to be more dark, or more good! I loved the fact that almost anything is interactable! And the battle's involve turn based action!!!

Graphics: Oh my god! This game dominated visually! All the different objects, characters, environments were amazing! I especially liked the explosions, and other special effects.

Audio: The sound was awesome! All the weapons made different noises, the sound effects were well done. And to top it off the voice acting was amazing!

Suggestions: Add a live feature!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 MechAssault

Overall: I totally forgot to review this game! Lets start it up, I really loved this game, the missions were great and so was live! (Excluding the fact that no one goes on anymore).

Gameplay: The gameplay was great, the controls are a bit complicated at first, but thats what practice is for. The live was fun (no one goes on anymore), and the battles are pretty big (especially capture the flag), but it can get a bit repetious.

Graphics: Visually this game dominated. Each mech concept was very uniqe and highly detailed. I loved the interactive environments too. The explosions, and fire looked very reall too.

Audio: Machine guns firing, lasers blasting, bombs exploding, who can ask for more? But theres one thing I really missed, the pilots talking! There wasn't much dialogue.

Suggestions: Make a dedicated server option! More game modes.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Star Wars: Battlefront

Overall: This is a great Star Wars game! It provides large scale battles (which I love), and lots of challenge. Its really hard and filled with game modes. The best feature of course is ONLINE!

Gameplay: The gameplay is amazing! Especially the large war like battles. Its amazing also due to the fact that there are plent of game modes! I personally love the live, (especially the dedicated server games).

Graphics: The visuals is the best part of the game! The characters, and sceneries are very detailed! I personally love how each character looks very unique.

Audio: The sound is amazing, there lots of great voice actors for all the different races. The sound effects are great too, especially the explosions

Suggestions: Add more weapons!

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Halo 2

Overall: Finally, the most anticipated game has come!
Halo 2 has brang almost everything it has promised at the set date (November 11). This game is the best First Person Shooter out there, and best of all its finally on live. With all of its live features, multi-player features, and campaign mode this is the best game ever!

Gameplay: The game-play is great, especially on live. The boys at Bungie managed to make the missions in campaign mode a lot less repetitious. There are a vast variety of multi-player game modes which I like to play on live.
The Xbox Live feature is the best thing about the game (for me). Bungie has taken the Xbox Live service beyond the limits! There is virtually no lag in game, and viewing your stats on bungie.net is very helpful.

Graphics: This game dominates all other competitors in the visual department. Even though bungie had to downgrade the image quality it is still very good! All the special effects, and environments are nice too. I love the variety in guns, and vehicles. Being able to customize your character is great too! Especially the custom logo option.

Audio: The sound has a major upgrade, you can finally hear what the aliens are saying at some parts. Also the voice actors have done a great job. The sound effects when bombs explode, weapons are fired are great! Also the dialog is more clearly said this time.

Suggestions: Add some content downloads, and dedicated server option.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow

Overall: This has to be the best Xbox Live game so far! It has a wide variety of Xbox Live features like clans, tournements, dedicated servers, ability to kick people out, and remove voice. The game modes are great, especially when you play on live.

Gameplay: The Gameplay is fun, and great! There are plenty of missions, but not enough levels. Also when your in game there is no health packs, or ammo packs. So if you run out of ammo in all your weapons your dead. I appreiciate the added difficulty in this, but it does get tedious if you use up all of your main weapons ammo.

Graphics: Visually this game was great! All the guns look unique, and so do the characters. The maps are all nice and unique, but you always have a sertain path you must go (you can't wander off). I would like to see some environmental impact (so you can destroy trees, and such) because there is very little of this. Other than that the visuals were flawless.

Audio: The sound was pretty good. Alot of guns make there own sound, and the explosions are very realistic. But the 1 bad thing is that your squad members say the same thing over, and over again when you issue a command, which is kind of annoying. But the screams of your enemy as you light him on fire covers this flaw.

Suggestions: Add an update for more levels, and guns. ALso it would be nice if you could pickup healthpacs/ammo.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Myst III: Exile

Overall: This game is not meant for console. I mean who wants to control a cursor with a controller? That is meant for the work of a mouse.

Gameplay: The gameplay was pretty lame, and the story sucked to. Basically for the whole game your chasing this guy. Although the puzzles are challenging THIS GAME IS MEANT FOR PC! I mean who really wants to be controlling cursor with a controller, when you should do it with a mouse. Myst is not a console sort of game, with the xbox it gets annoying using the cursor for the whole game, and theres only 1 mode. However if this were a PC game it would've gotten a better score (4).

Graphics: This game looked great! I mean there was immense detail which made it look great. But the pictures didn't really have motion (it was still), which drew off the reality quite a bit. The only motion there is, is the movement when your doing a puzzle.

Audio: There wasn't much to say about the sound because it was mostly quiet. Although there was a nice "tune" of the water, and some other nice natural effects in there. But for most of the game it was quiet.

Suggestions: Don't make Myst for a console, leave it for the PC where it will be appreciated.

Overall Score: 4.0 / 10 Whacked!

Overall: This is the most pointless kiddy game ever. I mean its fun for 1/2 an hour but then it gets boring. Nobody's on live anymore (I don't blaim them), and you basically do the same thing over and over! No wonder Presto got screwed at the end (well it was because of this game).

Gameplay: The gameplay was pretty bad. It was like I was playing 1 game mode over and over again. The settings didn't really make a difference, because the aim was to kill people (over, and over again!), and collect stars. The amount of stars & kills was the only thing that changed.

Graphics: This game was okay visually. The maps/stages do look neat, but they lack detail. Also your character doesn't even hold the gun! It hovers over you (which takes the realist down to a -12)

Audio: The same thing kept on playing over and over, and all of the characters voices were so annoying I felt like stabbing my ear out. And the sound effects lacked variety.

Suggestions: Try making a game less kiddy.

Overall Score: 4.0 / 10 NFL Street

Overall: This is a very fun and addictive game. I got this from a friend and its very fun to play (with other people). There should be "Street" themed games like these for different sports (like NHL Street).

Gameplay: Theres some cool variety of modes in this. You can make your own football team, and play against NFL teams to get development points, play books, etc... so this game will never get you bored. On top of that theres those normal exibition games to play with friends and such.

Graphics: This game was pretty good visually. You can customize your own team's appearences and such (like facial, height, weight, color, clothing, etc...). But the players, and fields couldve been better.

Audio: There are alot of cool music tracks on it. And also the players say alot of different things at different times (like make fun of somebody, or gloat). But all the hits sounded the same, and their could've been variety in that.

Suggestions: Make it available for live! And make it so you can buy stuff from a store (store mode), like stadiums, helmets, accessories etc...) Also a few more game modes wouldnt hurt.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Brute Force

Overall: I would first like to say that I bought this at Superstore (in a pack that contained this and Halo). Seeing how this pack costed 3 cents less than Halo (Superstore lowered it seeing how it wasn't selling good) it was a steal!
Overall this game let me down big time. I heard that it sucked before on gaming sites, and when I played it, it was way to easy, very fast to beat, squad based tactics are useless and more! To top that all off the story goes no where!

Gameplay: The first thing they did wrong is try to copy Halo, and make it in 3rd person. Next is the squad based tactics... Which is useless! Unless you have 2-3 other friends with you, your "fellow" squad members are going to die. All they do is get lost, and eventually die. They wander off too much if you leave them alone, so you have to switch to them and bring them back by yourself, and sooner or later your going to have to do a level all by urself through out the whole game. Next thing is that the weapons suck badly, and need some redesign. Also the missions were way too easy, and I beat the game in a matter of hours, but the multiplayer mode is alright. Too bad they didn't have live so you could play online if your alone.

Graphics: I guess this is the best part of the game. The graphics are great, and all the characters look great! Although the maps are very similar.

Audio: The character voice are pretty lame (Take a look at Brutus). Also all the guns sounded the same, and it lacks music. In conclusion there should've been more variety.

Suggestions: Burn it to the ground, then start again. AND THIS TIME don't try to copy Halo.

Overall Score: 4.0 / 10 Dance Dance Revolution: UltraMix

Overall: I just bought this game a few weeks ago, and it was a killer finding this game in stores in Canada! Anyway I managed to get one and this mix is great! Many songs are originals, and there alot of cool modes.

Gameplay: I really loved the gameplay! Theres a variety of difficulties, in which you can practice to become better. Although this game is mostly for the dance pad, so playing with the controller can get really boring. Also this game does somewhat keep you fit, and has a work out mode to see how many carbs you can/want (to) lose. Also there are alot of game modes like battle, vs, double, but saddly no couple mode.

Graphics: The visuals were quite basic, there was however a nice interface in the game. But the characters who dance are cell shaded, and very lame. I mean the moves they pull off half the time don't match the beat with the song, and are quite distracting! Also theres only 2 people (who you can't choose between (the person is randomly chosen)). Now some of the songs have a cool video in them, which is great.

Audio: The sound is probably one of the best parts of the game. Theres a vast variety of music, and even more to download! So you can't really get bored listening to the same song over and over, because theres way more than 1 song.

Suggestions: Let us pick our songs, more features in live play, tournements, round robbin play, and FREE content downloads!
Also it would be cool if we can choose a character that we wan't to be (like the upcoming PS2 DDR title), so we can see them dance on the pad.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Top Spin Tennis

Overall: I got bored of my Xbox games so I decided to get a new one. I'm not that big of a fan for first person shooters so I decided to get a sports game. Theres not many people on live anymore, and if there are the people are good! The game is pretty good but career mode needs to be bigger.

Gameplay: Being a fan of Mario Tennis this game did impress me. The hits and such are quite easy to make. The career mode is very fun and a little challenging but it really needs to be longer. This is also very fun to play with/against a friend.

Graphics: Visually this game was great! I mean there was alot of detail in the arenas, aswell as the people. You can also customize your own character too!

Audio: Theres not much sound, but then again its a tennis game. They did include the sounds for the hits, etc... But the guy who keeps on saying OUT is kind of annoying.

Suggestions: Make career mode longer, and more live modes.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack

Overall: This pack contains 2 of the best GTA games! Both of these are similar and its fun going around competing to be the best, and buying buildings.

Gameplay: The game play is very unique. Not many games are as realistic (in a way) as this where you can actually "live" in a city and kill people. Also you can drive cars and do missions! Above that you can also buy buildings and business!

Graphics: This is what the game really lacks. Although GTA3 has better gfx than GTA Vice City its still not up to the X-Box standards. The graphics are a big upgrade from the PS2 ones, but they still have a ways to go.

Audio: The sounds were great! It had a vast variety of sound effects, and phrases. Its funny what your person says to the cops while hes running away or shooting at them. Also I liked how the cars have radios, which is way different from other games.

Suggestions: Make the graphics a little better, and a option to turn the cops off (not the cheat). Also it would be really fun if it were available for live! (Or at least system link)

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller

Overall: This game was very pleasing and fun to play. Have fun competing with friends, or playing along side them with 1 license. There are few flaws within this game, but other then that its really fun!

Gameplay: There are a lot of game modes! Like carrier, and mini game! You wont beat this game anytime soon. Also you can compete by doing 2 player mode. Although there aren't many cars in here, which is kind of a let down.

Graphics: Everything was pretty good visually! But most of the pedestrians look the same, which takes off a chunk in realism. Also there aren't many cars in the game that you can choose from. But the maps look really detailed.

Audio: Not too much sound I'm afraid. Only the holler of the pedestrians, and occasional phrases of your character. The constant noise you'll hear is the background music, and noise of the car.

Suggestions: Make a live version, and have more cars. Maybe put some weapons in there too!

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Overall: This game has it all! There are many missions to go through, and its a lot of fun solving the "puzzles". You wont beat this game too fast! Although because of all the weapons, tools, abilities, actions etc... it does get a bit confusing.

Gameplay: There are a vast variety of missions to go through. Most of these require combat tactics, and head on thinking. Also the many variety of weapons are nice too. Although because of all the features, it may get confusing throughout some parts of the game.

Graphics: Visually this game was great! All the characters had the finest of detail, and so did the settings, and bases. I also liked how the lighting played a key in the game.

Audio: The sound was not all that great. Although the weapons seemed to make different sounds, and the sound that your character makes also played a key in the game (as well as missions).

Suggestions: Make this available for live, with modes like capture the flag, and capture the enemies base.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 MotoGP

Overall: I was very disappointed in this game. All you do is get points, and try to win races! With the points you can buy better bikes but once your done that and unlock the different raceways. Your done! They could've at least let you make custom things to pass the time.

Gameplay: Theres not much to do, either you race or do stunts. They may have all these tournaments, and points, but once you bought the best bike and everything you start to notice all you do is gain points and win races. Gets boring after a while.

Graphics: The best part of this game were its graphics. Yet the bikes and racers looked extremely similar (within the game) only thing different were there colors. As for the textures in each raceway, they were the same too!

Audio: Theres not much sound at all! Only the bikes roaring and the occasional crashing into walls. They could've put announcers in there so you don't bore yourself listening to the same thing over and over!

Suggestions: Add more stunts, ramps, different raceways, more bikes, custom raceways, custom bikes, custom racers, and more modes!

Overall Score: 7.0 / 10 Genma Onimusha

Overall: This game is quite addictive! Its mostly about killing monsters and solving puzzles! It might not take long to beat, but they do include mini quests and bonus things afterwords.

Gameplay: Basically its all about killing monsters, by hacking and slashing at them. You occasionally shoot magic at them too! There are many puzzles withing the game, which also make it challenging. This may seem boring, but its extremely addictive.

Graphics: The graphics in this were quite pleasing. All the characters, and monsters looked quite different and very detailed. Although I don't like how mostly everything was dark. The scenery, and settings are very detailed too, but also mostly dark.

Audio: The sound was quite basic, all it really was is people talking, and things dieing, and screaming. Not too much variety in this, although when you land a hit its quite pleasing to hear.

Suggestions: Put some more magic attacks in here, as well as transformations.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Fifa World Cup 2002

Overall: This game is pretty fun overall! Although there is no live features, or many game modes the controls and game play within a match are very realistic and easy to understand.

Gameplay: The game play is fun! During the game all controls are easy, and you can get the hang of it fast. Only problem is that it lacks game modes! If you want a shootout you have to tie the game and you'll get one in overtime!

Graphics: Visually this game was great! Although you may notice that all the players look similar, and when they show a movie theres not much detail in that. But the crowd and effects are amazing!

Audio: Theres not much sound. Although the cheering of the crowds are realistic thats about it. The announcer doesn't have many lines and there isn't many sound effects.

Suggestions: Make a World Cup game thats Live compatible (or at least system link) so I can play live

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Dead or Alive 3

Overall: DOA 3 is personally my favorite fighting game! I mean it's fun to play against people and the computer. If you play against the computer you wont beat it too quickly because if you beat the whole game with every character you have a chance at getting Ein, and the Theatre mode.

Gameplay: Theres many moves you can do with each character, which is cool! Also it's more realistic then some games, and the characters moves are actually adapted from reall martial arts! There are many modes including Story, Team, Time etc...

Graphics: I have to say that the graphics in this game is amongst the best in X-Box history! I mean the characters look so real, and I'm suprised the movies also turned out good! All the characters were unique too, and none of them looked the same! The stages are also good, and interactive. Its not like you walk back and forth (side scrolling). In this you can actually jump off stuff and go into hidden parts of the level.

Audio: The sounds were great too! You can hear the hits and everything! Also before and after the fight the characters say a phrase which is neat too. Also their is dialogue in the movies too.

Suggestions: Make it available to Live, and make a royal rumble mode (weapons would also be nice).

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Unreal Championship

Overall: At the beginning I was hooked on this game! Playing it online with my friends and everything, but then I noticed something missing... NO DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT! There was only like 1 time when there was downloadable content... and that was during the flag, and tag rifle glitch. But the game is unique and only worth while shooter (live) out there.

Gameplay: The game play is smooth, it offers many modes! Each mode I have to say are pretty unique. Although it gets boring after a while. If your in a clan I guarantee all the members in it will start to quit and there wont even be a clan anymore.

Graphics: The graphics are amazing! I mean from the unique character designs to the great levels! I mean the levels are each different, which means you have to get use to them all. Each of the weapons are different also, but I wish to see more weapons (the ones that come with the game get kind of boring).

Audio: There are many sounds like guns, walking, things blowing up etc.. But I find the characters phrases the best! I mean each of their voices are unique!

Suggestions: Put more downloadable content! I mean you promised more characters, guns, levels, modes etc.. and so far all you given us were some new levels!

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 NHL Hitz 2003

Overall: Overall this game was pretty good. Its more fun if you play it with get together then alone. This is more of a arcade hockey game then realistic, which is a nice change.

Gameplay: The only reason you should really place this game is to play against another human. Player vs. Computer is way too easy even on the most difficult mode. Although the franchise mode is pleasing because you do get to buy stuff with you points.

Graphics: It had nice graphics for the players and rink designs. Also the additional costumes and other things were nice too.
But the elements (like fire) and crowd designs were way off! There should be more detail in that.

Audio: The sound was great! From the announcers to the slap shots. Although the announcers need more lines... But I guess the hits make up for it.

Suggestions: Make the Player vs. Computer mode harder!

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Medal of Honor: Frontline

Overall: The game exactly captures the mood of war! Also instead of you being the only one doing work, your fellow comrads actually help you! Yet this would be alot more fun if it were Live enabled, and 2 armies going at it!

Gameplay: The gameplay is fun! Its just like a war, with a big army on your side. You can also go to deserted towns, battlefields ect.. Also the controlls aren't confusing like some war games. I guess it would be alot more fun if it were live enabled.

Graphics: Its visually appealing! Theres a variety of maps including, towns, mountains, enemy bases etc.. Except they lacked on character designs, also there werent to many elements (like fire) which really knocked down the realism.

Audio: It trully does sound like a battle ground! Theres explosions, gun fires, people screaming! And when your commandar or someone talks to you they yell (and the background sound doesnt stop!).

Suggestions: Make it Live! Also more weapons, people, and make the character designs better!

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Capcom vs. SNK 2: EO

Overall: It gets a 4.0 because after a while it starts to get boring. Once you complete the game the only other challenge is against a friend.

Gameplay: The game play is great. With so many Grooves to choose from, it relies one strategy too. E0ism and ACism provides challenges, and also relief to experienced and in-experienced. Yet it did downgrade 1 thing from the Street Fighter 2. Which is it isn't environmentally active. There should be boxes in which you can throw. Live game types are chosen at random which i feel is a big disadvantage some times. Also there isn't to much variety on match types.

Graphics: The old 2D graphics are kind of un-settling. The 3D environment however does not change things at all. Also there aren't too many stages! Seeing the same things over and over makes it boring.

Audio: There aren't many songs or sound effects in this game. But the ones that are their leave there mark. Yet with lack of back round music, its annoying hearing the same dumb songs over and over again

Suggestions: Add another update for more stuff for this game. Lack of matches and random matches on on-line multi-player play isn't too appealing. Also more sound needed too. Also for the next game, try making it 3D.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Halo: Combat Evolved

Overall: This is the best shooter around! With its unique story line and designs, i believe it should be an instant classic. The combination of the creators skill give it such a great score.

Gameplay: The very rare co-op mode gives it the army based theme. Easy controls give anyone the edge in this game, with any weapon/ vehicle. The multiplayer games also gives more choice to what you want to play. So you wont get bored of it. The different difficulties in single player mode provide challenges for anyone.

Graphics: The many environments and vegetation give the game realistic points of view as well as creativity from made up stuff too. The gore is superb as well as the characters.

Audio: The sound is so real, it seems the bullet shots and explosions are really happening. Mostly the clarity of the effects give it a 5.

Suggestions: Hurry up with halo 2! I cant wait!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 NHL 2003

Overall: The realism in hockey is recorded in this game. But a lot of the movies are played over and over again.

Gameplay: The controls are fairly simple, and their are a fair amount of modes to choose from. But a bad thing is that you can only use most NHL cards only once! And holding on to these type of cards is useless. But when creating a custom team you can change the name or the logo! Theres only 2 custom teams.

Graphics: The gfx are really good, accept the movies are played over and over again which get annoying. You cant skip them. A lot of the players look the same.

Audio: There are a lot of phrases and stuff coming out of the announcers! A lot of them are funny. The sound in the rink are very life like. It would be nice to hear some talking from the players though...

Suggestions: Make more cards and make them not once use. Also make the players look different, and more custom teams. Unlockables would be appreciated too. Also maybe a all mascot team.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Kabuki Warriors

Overall: It can be summed up in 1 word: !&%$@#* . The story goes no where. Everyone has some sort of thing for old school.... BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Old school means made in the past, how can this be made in the present? All these guys had going was the name. I bet they did more work on the name then anything else in the game!

Gameplay: Just stick your hands on the 2 lucky buttons. What is this? I would let it go if this style was made for the original nintendo... But for X Box? This is a stain of embarrassment in the X in X Box. Theres different characters but their stats are identical. Even their moves are the same!

Graphics: The gfx skills from the Atari are coming back! Everything looks so fake its not even funny. The cover illustrations was better then anything else i the game!

Audio: Smacking a bat on the trash can will leave the same effect. Its just the repeating of the sounds ping pong all over again. Uncawourdanated... Did they actually did work on it? Or leave it in the studio with a dog in there with them. ALSO I WAS FORCED TO GIVE THIS A 1.5!

Suggestions: Dint make a part 2. Start all over and make a new game. Basically dint use any technology you used for this game and do everything from the start again. Other words do everything you didn't do in this game on your new series.
