Star Wars: KOTOR Backstory Revealed
The upcoming XBox RPG title may be a Star Wars based game, but it does not take place during any of the films. To give an idea of what the game would be like, XBox.com has updated their site with a detailed backstory. "Millennia before Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi faced Darth Maul on Naboo, thousands of years before the heroic Rebel Alliance would face the might of the Empire over the skies of Endor, the Star Wars galaxy saw another epic conflict of good and evil: the great Sith War. A vast Republic of worlds, already thousands of years old, was torn by interplanetary strife. Powerful warlords driven by ancient evil challenged the Jedi and the good people of the galactic Republic in an open conflict for dominion. Many noble Jedi Knights fell to the Dark Side, many more died at the hands of Sith forces. Civilizations were destroyed. Hundreds of sentient species were driven to extinction.
