Enter the Matrix
Overall: This game was ok, nothing monumental. The main thing that made this game appealing was the additional footage that added to the movies
Gameplay: Gameplay was ok. Its a 3rd person action game, use various types of weapons and martial arts fighting. Includes "focus" ability which allows you to slow evertything around you, jump farther, gives better aim, and other special attacks.
Graphics: once again, nothing spectacular. Contains some exclusive full motion video cut-scenes with the cast from the movies. game was designed to run on multi-platform, so it doesnt utilize its full video potential
Audio: The score includes music from the matrix soundtrack, decent in game weapon and other sound effects.
Overall Score: 7.0 / 10 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Overall: If you are a fan of star wars or rpg's, this game is for you. The storyline for the game is better than that of the prequel trilogy.
Gameplay: The gameplay enhances on the style of normal rpgs to give a much more involved feeling. Rather than following a tight linear plotline, you are allowed to make decisions for yourself, and change the outcome of the game.
Graphics: Gameplay graphics are excellent. cinematic sequences were a little rought at times, but overall it looks really nice.
Audio: Decent sound effects. Nice voice acting for all the characters. The alien "dialog" gets a little repetative, the same tracks are used more than once for the alien speach.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Tetris Worlds: Online Edition
Overall: What can i say? I am a tetris addict. I loved the original tetris back on gameboy/nes, but hadnt played any other variations since then not wanting to pay fifty bucks for tetris. But when i found out that they were releasing it on xbox, for 20 bucks, online enabled, i knew i had to pick this one up.
Gameplay: How do you describe tetris? drop blocks, make lines, the more lines you make, the more points you get. There are a few new variations included on this game, all very entertaining. and with Online play, this game takes tetris to an all new level.
Graphics: Ok, its tetris. How much detail can you put on a buch of blocks? there are some pretty looking backdrops that you can play on, but nothing special here.
Audio: Comes standard w/ an ok soundtrack of techno type music. It gets boring after a while though. Custom soundtracks are supported, which is a very good thing.
Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3
Overall: Dont let the game time fool you. I got it last week, but have been in the middle of 2 hella crappy weeks of school work and projects. I played the demo and i was blown away. Got the game first day and was blown even further. This game is awesome. Graphics are spectacular, solid gameplay, awesome play in live. i cant wait to get done w/ all these projects so i can spend every waking moment playin this game.
Gameplay: The gameplay is awesome. Much more involved than ghost recon. Even though you cant switch between your team members, you have more control over them. There are numerous team commands ranging from opening doors and clearing rooms to defusing bombs. And if you have an xbox live headset, the voice command adds a whole new degree of interaction.
Graphics: The graphics are gorgeous. best graphics i've seen on xbox yet. as stated before, i have only had a few hours to play, so i've only seen a few levels, but I was very impressed with what i've seen
Audio: Great sound effects. Weapons have their own realistic sound. Team members reply to commands given. If using a live headset, team members speak through the headset.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder
Overall: The stand alone expansion pack to Ghost Recon. 8 new campaign missions, a bunch of new maps with many more available to download.
Gameplay: Gameplay is still the same as the original. The addition of the new maps and weapons add to the Ghost Recon experience. There are also a few comfort features that really improve live gameplay, such as the screen to see the kills, the mic indicator telling who's speaking, and the inclusion of scoreboards.
Graphics: Some of the new maps are really impressive, but since this is only an expansion pack, the overall graphics havent improved very much.
Audio: The game has decent sound, again, about the same quality as the original Ghost Recon. Thought it was funny when i heard the guy yelling "grenada" instead of grenade
Overall Score: 8.0 / 10
