Overall: Hitman: Contracts is the third game in the Hitman series, where you play as Agent 47, a contract killer. From mission to mission, you follow a story-driven stealth-action game - assassinating various individuals and completing other objectives. The game is well-made and delivers amazing visuals and sound, yet somehow is not as big of an improvement from the previous version as would be expected.
Gameplay: The overall gameplay flows well and is practically similar to the previous games. You start with a mission - a set of objectives - that you must complete. One great aspect of this game is that you have the freedom to complete the mission any way you like. You don?t have to follow the objectives in the suggested order. Of course, at the end of every mission, you receive a rating on your Aggression, Stealth, and on the overall type of assassin you are. If you?re clever and agile, evading the guards at most times, you would receive a rating of ?Professional?. While if you go on a mad Halo-like rampage, shooting everything and everybody in your way, you would probably get a ?Mass Murderer? rating. Either way works, but it?s best to go the first way - it makes the game more worthwhile. The controls work great too. An extended variation of gameplay (i.e. something new and fresh) would have made it even better.
Graphics: The graphics are amazingly realistic in the game. Everything in the game is polished (or at least it seemed so to me): the environments, the lighting, the characters, and so on. The cinematics in the game were also very impressive. A job well done.
Sound: The sound in this game is stunning and is probably one of the most remarkable aspects of the game. In fact, I believe sound is a core component of gameplay, because stealth relies on sound. All the sound effects are beautifully mastered and add to the realism of Hitman: Contracts. The music is another great part of the game too and is a significant feature in delivering an general feeling to the game.
Suggestions: No major suggestions to the game. Make the next one seem more of an improvement than this one was. Perhaps some new multiplayer features in the future?

Overall: Ok its time Butterz to review this. I can't say it wasn't worth my money but I was expecting a lot more out of this one. It just seems like the game wasn't finished when they released it. But I would recomend renting it first.
Gameplay: I have played Hitman 2 a lot and Hitman 3 is basically an upgraded version of Hitman 2. You cannot choose the melee weapons before you go into a level anymore you just pick them up in the level. There is more of a variety of weapons though. I have gotten silent assain on about half of all the levels and the secret weapons are great. One of the things I would not have done was played it on normal mode. Unless you want to be a mass murderer well pick normal but if want a real Hitman challenge I would but it on a more difficult setting. I haven't tried it on anything except normal but it was just too easy to kill people. Especially when you go to the shooting range. The shooting range is where I spend a lot of the time playing the game. You are walking on a model street with these brick houses everywhere. The targets pop out of the windows. There are 44 of them and it is difficult to hit them. My first couple tries I got 20 something but now I can hit 39 of them with my .45's. It is a great way to train your self for the real game. You can also switch around your sensitivity. One of the things I really did not like was the repetiveness (i cant spel). It says you can kill the people anyway you want but that really isn't true. On most levels you can poison your target or targets. Sometimes blow them up and most of the time you can always get into their hiding space and shoot them with a silenced weapon, strangle them, or stab them. Thats why I would recomend putting the difficulty on something higher than normal. Another thing I really hated was the shortness of the levels. One of the levels was so short I just looked at my map, walked up some stairs, waited for my target, shot them in the head, escaped, then got silent assasain. I did that after a couple tries because I realized how easy it was to get silent assasain. Now there was one level that offered evrything. You go into this fancy hotel and the place is huge. This is the best part of the game (for me at least). You have to eliminate 2 terrorists and escape with a "wmd". There are soo many options in this level it is unbelievable. I just wish every level in the game was like that.
Graphics: The game looks great compared to Hitman 2. The blood doesn't look like ketchup anymore. I really wish I had an HDTV. Everything looks much more realistic.
Sound: The sound is also greatly improved. The guns sound more realistic and the music gives the game more of a rush when you get into a firefight. It makes me love my crappy surround sound.
Suggestions: Try making all the levels as good as traditions of the trade and this is a long shot but an online mode (not just co-op) would be awesome.

Overall: I really wanted to like this game more than I did. You are a hitman, the missions are very open and you can complete them anyway you want. Good graphics, but most of the missions seem very repetetive and recycled. This game is worth possible a rental. Its very funny seeing your character glide/ice skate when he runs or walks.
Gameplay: You have some very cool weapons to kill people with. For example: barb wire to choke people with, a butchers knife, syringe shot, and a meat hook. There are guns like SMG's, dual pistols, and sniper rifles. I loved the first two levels of this game. They were great, but after that it was very boring. Most of the missions seemed very recycled. One cool thing is when you kill someone you can steal their clothes and try to be stealthy. This game is worth a rental, but not a purchase.
Graphics: Now, game looks fantastic. There are shadows and all the character models look great. But, when your character is running he looks like he's ice skating or gliding. That is very annoying and funny.
Sound: Sound is good, no problems here. The music is fine.
Suggestions: Stop the series and dont make another one! Don't charge people 50 bucks for an expansion. This game is basically an expansion, a lot of the levels were in earlier hitman games. And if you do make another game, make sure Agent 47 doesnt ice skate/glide across the floor!

Overall: A gigantic disapointment. A game that starts nowhere, and goes nowhere. What's worse is the crappy cliffhanger ending! GRRRRR
Gameplay: You do the same things as in Hitman 2, only in areas you've already visited before. Some of the missions are so hard you'll want to pull your hair out, and in the end it is all for nothing!
Graphics: The exact same thing as Hitman 2, only a bit darker and creepier at times. The meat king level is beyond perverse. Overall though the graphics are much more polished than Silent Assasin, while not being a giant leap forward.
Sound: Not much voice acting, 47 does very little talking but the ambient sounds add a lot to the atmosphere
Suggestions: The game starts out so strong and after you realize that it's all just a bunch of !&%$@#* flashbacks, the game shoots itself in the foot; repeatedly. My suggestion is to come up with a compelling story line and to completely re-vamp the games' engine and controls so it doesnt feel so much of the same old.

Overall: Excellent. The best Hitman game so far. Superb gameplay/graphics in this atmospheric 3rd-person shooter.
Gameplay: Its still basically the same game engine. You get loads of cool weapons and you've got to go around killing targets. Still great.
Graphics: Even though not groundbreaking, there is still an improvement over Silent Asassin. Very impressive, atmospheric visuals.
Sound: Excellent voice acting, superb weapons sound effects and all the surounding sounds are perfect. Great sound.
Suggestions: Make another......

Overall: The newest game in the hitman series, you play the role of an assassin for some top secret agency. Use your brain and travel across the world, find the best way to complete your mission. Very repetitive, in each mission you need to kill on average 2 persons and to make something explode or find a "very important" item. No storyline, it is just mission after mission, with no true immersion.
Gameplay: Old gameplay, reminds me Hitman 2. Not much improvement. Hitman walks funny sometimes. The Gameplay is pretty easy to master, just kill the first guy of each mission, take his clothes and you're ready to do anything. Even if the guy had long hair and you are bald, just take his clothes and you have such a nice disguise.
Graphics: Very nice visual, indeed. Pretty candy-eyed. Graphics are up to date, if you are looking for nice weather effects and weapon design, this game has this benefits.
Sound: Nice sounds, nice gun sampling and voice acting. However, the music is not that good. The sounds could be considered a little better than average.
Suggestions: just describe what the game is all about. You do not play the role of intelligence or something stealth like in splinter cell. In fact, you are a simple hitman that do the same thing mission after mission, kill that guy and get out of the place. What changes is only the location of the mission and the weapon used. Oh, also the clothing. Pretty basic, no storyline. Play this game if you like action games but don't look into something too subtle and bright.

Overall: All I have to say is wow.. Eidos did a great job with this one, The graphics are great and the levels feel just right.
Gameplay: I love this game. The controls feel just right, everything you need for killing is right under your thumb and pointer finger. The guns are set just right, as in previous Hitman games. Agent 47 is still running around, sneaking around (whatever your fetish) and shooting who and whatever he wants. Contracts gives you many many ways to get around the levels, depending on your style. Gun everyone down. Sneak around in someone elses outfit. It's all up to you in Hitman: Contracts. I think I'll still be playing this in a couple months.. just doing every way possible to get through levels.
Graphics: GREAT graphics in Contracts for being a shooter you'll want to stay in 3rd person just so you can see more stuff.
Sound: For some reason I thought there could have been more in this department.. The sound does morph to the event, So that's a nice part.
Suggestions: I want to be able to blow body parts off! ^_^

Overall: Overall this is a good game, good graphics, i haven't still gotten the cutscenes that appear but it's still a good game
Gameplay: Good game, you can complete the mission in any way you want, you can either burst in and run out of ammo, or do it silently and get a "silent assassin" rating and get new guns. Im giving it a four cause when i first played this and tried the practice course, i saw 47 skating on the floor instead of walking! I DID NOT PAY 50 BUCKS TO SEE MY CHARACTER SKATE ON THE FLOOR! but you get used to it.
Graphics: the game has good graphics, better than its predecessor and the blood effects are really good, you can almost taste it.
Sound: VERY, VERY NICE SOUND, the voices disappear little by little as you move further from the guys. It has beautiful music that makes you wanna play this game more every time.
Suggestions: IF you decide to make a another game, be sure to check that your main character isn't skating while changing from walking to running.

Overall: Kill people the way you want. any way you want. This game is amazing. The frist stage is set in what looks like the lab you were made in, you just killed a guy who clamed to be your father, you surronded by other guys that look like you, and now theirs a hurd of swat coming in.I made a stelthy exit on that one but the other missions have been mass murrderer. The weopons are great, i was disapointed with the meat hook.
Gameplay: You can steal peoples cloths. you posion people. and blow them to hell.I love this game called off to work to play it. I told them I had blood in my stoles just to play this game.
Graphics: Way better then the last one. the blood sqirting the walls. the fear in the eyes of people about to die. The injuried squirming on the ground. god put his seal of aprovel on this one.
Sound: you can hear blood spater on the wall. music is great. The voice's wander off the father away you walk away from people.
Suggestions: body parts to come off with the knifes, and guns.
