Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict

Overall: The sequel to the Xbox port Unreal Championship.... need I say more? The game includes the new melee and third person perspecctive which wasn't included in the previous game. The engine and graphics have been enhanced also. A few more races of characters have been added and the Adrenaline system has also been refined.

Gameplay: The gameplay wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be, with the new melee system. I oftened found that entire games consisted of only melee attacking.. This takes away from the usual gunfights that Unreal players have come to adore. I found that going back and playing Unreal Championship, it's predesor, was more fun. I think the adrenline is a bit too powerful, one option (The option is called "Nimble") and it basically allowed me to use it and jump across the entire map with the flag and score in a matter of about 40 seconds.. You tell me how that employs fun and exciting gaming.

Graphics: The visuals have been upped since Unreal Championship 1, but 3rd person seems a bit to the choppy side for me.

Audio: The sound is mediocre, I didn't notice many flaws nor anything good either. I am really disappointed.

Suggestions: Ditch the Melee.

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Doom 3

Overall: This game is pretty amazing, the zombies and monsters seem to pop out of any small hole or crack, and you'll be frantically trying to find the weapon you need if you require a different weapon in a large firefight.

Gameplay: The gameplay is amazing. like I said above, the monsters will pop out of anywhere, and if your playing at 4 am like I was when I first purchased the game, It will make you jump a few times. The developers are great at knowing where people will be scared, as the lights will go out at the damnedest of times. The only problem I ahve with the gameplay is the Xbox Live aspect and that is why I am giving it a 4.5 out of 5. The whole idea is pretty horrible in my opinion. The levels aren't too bad, but the lag is horrible.. the first time I played online I almost had a seizure and !&%$@#* my pants because of all the shaking and jumping around.

Graphics: 5.0

What else can I say, this has to be one of the best looking games (If not the best) I've seen for console.

Audio: Sound is great, perfect. The music fits the events happening and adds to the horror effect this game is going for.

Suggestions: Make sure you improve online play in your next game and actaully take time to develop it if you are going to include it.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Hitman: Contracts

Overall: All I have to say is wow.. Eidos did a great job with this one, The graphics are great and the levels feel just right.

Gameplay: I love this game. The controls feel just right, everything you need for killing is right under your thumb and pointer finger. The guns are set just right, as in previous Hitman games. Agent 47 is still running around, sneaking around (whatever your fetish) and shooting who and whatever he wants. Contracts gives you many many ways to get around the levels, depending on your style. Gun everyone down. Sneak around in someone elses outfit. It's all up to you in Hitman: Contracts. I think I'll still be playing this in a couple months.. just doing every way possible to get through levels.

Graphics: GREAT graphics in Contracts for being a shooter you'll want to stay in 3rd person just so you can see more stuff.

Audio: For some reason I thought there could have been more in this department.. The sound does morph to the event, So that's a nice part.

Suggestions: I want to be able to blow body parts off! ^_^

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
