Jesper Kyd To Score Hitman: Contracts
The award-winning composer and producer Jesper Kyd has today confirmed that he is working on the soundtrack for Hitman: Contracts. Kyds previous game credits include both of the previous Hitman titles, Brute Force, Minority Report, MDK2, Messiah, and Freedom Fighters, which won our very own 2003 Best Original Music in a Game award. Kyd is also currently working on music for McFarlanes Evil Prophecy for Konami and has recently returned from recording sessions in Budapest and Paris where he worked with an 89-piece orchestra and a 60-piece choir for a currently unannounced project. "The Hitman: Contracts score follows the dark, sinister nature of the third Hitman game," said Kyd, who has written more than 90 minutes of original music for the game. "The soundtrack is a dark and adventurous score mixed with suspenseful electronica elements." Hitman: Contracts is currently scheduled for release in April and will see players reprising the role of the ruthlessly efficient--though somewhat reluctant--contract killer Agent 47.Source: http://www.gamespot.com/
