Ok, so I was asked to do this review (well, actually, I begged, because I?ve been looking forward to this game for quite some time), and to tell you the truth, I felt a little pressure as the date approached. What if my expectations of this game are set too high?"

Overall: This is truly an amazing game. It combines the brilliant gameplay style of Battlefield 1942 with Star Wars - and not on a PC either. The game has both a single-player and a multiplayer component. There?s no real story (except the Star Wars story), yet the game is principally set around campaigns. While the nature of this game may be familiar to many, nothing like it has ever been experienced before in Star Wars games. Star Wars Battlefront has a lot to offer - to Battlefield 1942 fans, to Star Wars fans, or to anyone how wants to play a unique action game.
Gameplay: As mentioned before, gameplay is divided into single-player and multiplayer. Single-player involves two different modes: a campaign spanning across the Star Wars timeline and a galactic conquest mode. Both are equally great to play. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is quite similar and can be experienced split-screen, on Xbox Live, and so on. There?s over a dozen maps in the game (set on around ten different planets). Like in Battlefield 1942, you can choose your class of character and you have a number of Star Wars vehicles at your disposal. A lot of the game is also based on strategy and tactics: capturing the control points and eliminating the enemy. The controls in the game flow reasonably well too.
Graphics: The visuals in the game have been well done too. The design of characters, environments, and effects all adds to that Star Wars feeling. The graphics in Star Wars Battlefront could have been worked on some more, but are generally good enough for this sort of game.
Sound: All Star Wars games, whether good or bad, have a tendency to include great sound. And Star Wars Battlefront lives up to that tendency. The voices and sound effects in the game are superbly done. The Star Wars music in the game is also effective and adds to the mood of the battles in the game.
Suggestions: More maps, characters, vehicles, and game modes. Try to pay particular attention to perfecting the visuals in Star Wars Battlefront II.

Overall: Similar to the Battlefield series, Starwars Battlefront brings players into a 32 person game of mass killing. With dumb AI, and strange weapon/vehicle balances... BF is suprsingly entertaining and enjoyful.
Gameplay: BF is a 3rd person shooter where you basically kill as much useless-thinking-AI as you can while playing as characters from both the original 3 starwars movies, as well as the new 3 movies. The game is full of tons of bugs and issues should have been resolved before the game was released also.
Graphics: The maps in Battlefront do resemble the scenarios found in the Star Wars movies with the exception of a few (hoth and endor...). Still many glitches all throughout the levels and models.
Sound: The sound effects are nothing too special. The music isn't either and that suprised me. Still the games sound does what it needs to do to avoid most complaints.
Suggestions: Fix the balance issues and the gameplay bugs found all too much in this game!

Overall: Fantastic. Along with the two KOTOR games , this is the star wars games the fans have been waiting YEARS for!.
Gameplay: Take control of pretty much any soldier/warrior/droid you've seen in the movies and help them battle to victory. All those battles you've seen in the movies you can now take part in! , a fan-boys wet dream basically.....
Graphics: Perfect.Even tho they feel a bit like a PS2 port, they still perfectly re-create the worlds and characters of the movies to perfection.
Sound: All this game need was THAT noise that the blasters make. Its got those , plus all the other sounds that make it a star wars game (even the ewoks!!) , beautiful sound!
Suggestions: Make another - make the first person view option better - be able to control jedi heroes and ewoks

Overall: A very fun game...play all the points of view in all the famous battles in the Star Wars universe. While my favorite is sniping, I do enjoy rolling along in vehicles taking out the enemy.
Gameplay: The controls for ground forces are very nice, fans of FPS will be instantly in tune with controls. The ship controls could use some work, i.e. will take ALOT of getting used to. Fans of Star Wars will be pulled in immediately to the action and authentic battles. While mowing down clones, stormtroopers or robots...nothing beats taking down those !&%$@#* Gungans (Jar Jar) and the plump little targets, the ewoks.
Graphics: Very good overall...yet some clipping and generic details due to massive numbers in the battles do give some drawbacks...yet the great looking explosions, weapon fire, vehicles, environments and no distant pop-up make things really great.
Sound: The classic anthems, weapon sounds, vehicle noises, orders, troop chatter are all a joy to hear. Yet, if you are not a fan, you will get tired of hearing all of the same old music playing almost in a continuous loop, but still adds alot to the atmosphere and namesake of the game.
Suggestions: Great game...while diversifying the game line-up coming from Lucasarts...the Stae Wars name has made Lucasarts what it is today. Maybe another Battlefront or similar minded title...but keep the Star Wars game mill churning.

Overall: This is a great Star Wars game! It provides large scale battles (which I love), and lots of challenge. Its really hard and filled with game modes. The best feature of course is ONLINE!
Gameplay: The gameplay is amazing! Especially the large war like battles. Its amazing also due to the fact that there are plent of game modes! I personally love the live, (especially the dedicated server games).
Graphics: The visuals is the best part of the game! The characters, and sceneries are very detailed! I personally love how each character looks very unique.
Sound: The sound is amazing, there lots of great voice actors for all the different races. The sound effects are great too, especially the explosions
Suggestions: Add more weapons!

Overall: Great, the action is enthralling, the battles visceral, and the visuals up to par with some grade A titles. Battlefront is a testament to developers using pervious successes to build upon.
Gameplay: Fast Paced, action packed, the controls of the vehicles can be clunky, but it is a minor inconvenience at the most, controls other than that are tight.
Graphics: Great character models are well made and move with fluidity, the ships all have deep particle effects, and the environments are rich.
Sound: John Williams is a genius. His music changes the mood of any game, and the sound effects of this game are solid.
Suggestions: Download content soon, possibly some space oriented levels IE low Grav

Overall: a good game... but one that needs xbox live to be enjoyed to its potential. multiplayer is where the fun is at, and while single player is not bad... it is not the games high point. 24 players on live, so you can forgive the areas that have been toned down. A good game when multiplayer... but single player is a bit repetative, and does not compare to its multiplayer counterpart.
Gameplay: as I said... You really need xbox live to enjoy it fully, and while single player can be fun at times.... it is not involving, and is a bit repetative... the one area where gameplay stands out is 24 players on live, but besides that it is no real leap forward.
Graphics: graphics are a mixed package... they stay true to the world that they intend to create... and often look good, but more often than not they do not look good and are blocky...it is obvious that they used less pollygons pixels and a limited pallete of colours to maintain a smooth framerate but with 24 players on live, the toned down graphics are acceptable.
by no means bad, and sometimes good... but the xbox has seen better.
Sound: the fmv sounds while on the battlefield are very good, guns sound as they would in a star wars movie, and it is all recreated nicely. it is not really music to your ears, but it is still very good.
Suggestions: better graphics, more players on live!! and a better single player campaign

Overall: pretty short even on the hardest difficulty. nothing too flashy. just like all other war games just with star wars
Gameplay: nothing is really wrong just nothing really different to make it stand out against the other games out. The most annoying thing in this game is in the battle of hoth when you try to take out the at-ats(big walkers). you have to shoot the cable at them but you need a computer character and it is dang near impossible and if you switch to the gunner seat then the computer is incompitent and flies the ship straight into the mountains and you die. very annoying.
Graphics: not too bad at all but again nothing too miraculous.i give it a 4.5 because in so many other games, they mess up everything and this one gets it right. but thats the way it should be so no extra points.
Sound: the sound is great. in all of the star wars flops the sound has always been good. so in a game that is actually good the sound is expected to be good.
Suggestions: come up with more original stuff. make more player types available. like in the clone wars part i was expecting to be able to be a jedi in the genosis battle. and let people choos what side to be on.

Overall: Pretty descent game. It's a battlefield 1942 rip off but none the less, good game. They could've done a few things better though.
Gameplay: Overall the gameplay is great. Tons of vehicles to drive, tons of people to play with. The only bad part is, it lacks a true singleplayer campaign. And at times the LIVE aspect can be very laggy.
Graphics: Descent visuals. Although you'd expect way more from an xbox games. At times things can look jaggy and distorted.
Sound: Sounds, whoa. The sounds are great in this game, they stay right with star wars movies which have great sounds. Infact I'm pretty sure the sounds are taken right from the movie. Lasers are great, plus the star wars theme songs play a lot. Great sounds.
Suggestions: Code the online better. Better graphics.

Overall: Now, this is one awesome game that is a Must-Buy. Especially for Xbox Live, it's pretty awesome. Especially if you have a lot of players in one game
Gameplay: Single player is great, split-screen is even better, and Xbox Live is just rad, dudes. The better the connection, the more people can join (The best is a T1 connection)
Graphics: Its good, but it could be better, but still, when explosions happen its pretty awesome dives and stuff
Sound: some guns sound just like from the movies (The Clone Wars movie). The teams are CIS and Empire (they bad guys) and the Rebels and Republic
Suggestions: Wow, make a Battlefront 2

Overall: Okay I'll admit it. I was very skeptical about this game at first. I mean Star Wars is a great franchise but all that clone wars, and JarJar Binks stuff was just getting me down. Thank god Mr Lucas Likes money so much because it drives him to keep making games and stuff until he gets one right. Thats where Battlefront comes in. This is really a good game with very tight gameplay controls. And definitely something for everyone. Finally I get to fight in the thick of a rebel uprising as an artic stormtrooper while running along side a giant ATAT walker while watching as Lord Vadar effortlessly cuts down everyone in his pass just to reach his son. It's very very cool.
Gameplay: Single player is cool with different types of game modes and 2 eras to play in. Clone wars or Galactic civil war. Online play is great especially since, for the most part, People actually work together and dont just run around fragging everybody. I find it hard not to shoot at a stormtrooper when I'm a rebel and vice versa. Plus it's very cool to help your fellow stormtroopers flush out a band of rebel scum in Mos Eisley.
Graphics: Generally StarWars games look great. But this one looks REALLY great. Graphically this game is quite flawless with stuff always happening around you. People getting blasted all around, gunfire everywhere, vehicles blowing up in front of you. I felt truly immersed like I was actually on Endor! Everything looks detailed and cool.
Sound: Awesome! Lucas is Lucas so you'll always get that great THX sound quailty. Everything sounds like the movies. Like the gungun death cry which particularly enjoyed.
Suggestions: Great game. Keep making em with this quality.

Overall: You take on the role as the Empire or the Republic and battle each other to the end. Fly around the galaxy and either defend planets or conquer them. Use of 5 different soldiers for each fight, each with different skills and weapons. Take control of vehicle, your or the enimies and use them to your advantage.
Gameplay: Run around and try and deplete your enemies army. Controls are good and dont take too long to get use to. The game play in single mode is ok and is fun to do. Try on hard and u have a battle. This game really kicks butt ONLINE! I've joined up for a couple hours of battles and its fun. Some people talk about the spawn killing, but its not too bad as long as you dont loose ground. Take control of enemy walkers and destroy everyone!
Graphics: The environment is nicely detailed. The different areas for fighting are large and fun. If your complaining the area is too small, u camp too much. Run and gun! There are times the games slow, but thats usually online.
Sound: One word LUCAS! Enough said- well have to fill a bit, but 5.1 rocks and the background sounds are nice.
Suggestions: Maybe add some more missons, hint DL content!!!!!! I have heard of some people talking about online problems and the only thing I got was a disconnect, but that happen once in the course of about 4 hours. Crimson Guards would have been nice. Deal with the online issues!

Overall: Imagine the Battlefiled Series in the Star Wars Universe and that's Star Wars: Battlefront. I think this is a better game then either battlefield game because it was built for the consoles. The maps are great and you feel like you are in a huge war. This is a mustbuy if you have xbox live.
Gameplay: It's pretty simple, take control of enemy spawn points and kill them while doing it. When their ticker runs out you win. There are lots of vehicles from Star Wars, take the battle in the air or on the ground. There are 4 different classes of characters: pilot, gunner, anti vehicles, and sniper/scout. The pilot can fix vehicles and heal people. The rest of them are self explanatory. The single player game is decent, but online is where it's at. You feel like you are in a Star Wars movie after wave and wave of enemy attacks you. The terrific vehicles, maps, and balance make this an awesome game.
Graphics: The graphics are decent and do the game justice. Nothing to write home about, but still good. The maps and vehicles look good.
Sound: The sound is terrific. From the guns, to voiceovers, to music, and vehicles.
Suggestions: This is an excellent game, make a sequel.

Overall: This is possibly one of the best Star Wars game ever made and it translate the feel of the movies into the game! Battle in the Clone Wars or in battles seen in the original three movies. Online Live play adds a lot of replay value to this game.
Gameplay: The game feels very natural in your hands. After getting used to the controls, it's easy to move around, crouch, lay low, get into the various robots, ships and turrets. If you were to watch this game being played, it really feels like you're watching the movies. One complaint that I have is that character movements stay at one speed; this could have been made better if characters can run or something.
Graphics: Visually, the game is not utilizing all it can from the XBox. However, with 24 possible players on Live, I can understand why the graphics may be toned down to help save bandwidth. The game overall really fun to play and if you're really into a mission, you'll hardly notice it.
Sound: The sounds in this game are what makes the game feel like authentic Star Wars battles. Every now and then the background music would start but for the most part, the sounds are really good and they match the game play nicely. When playing Live, you'll barely notice the game voices over your teammates' voices.
Suggestions: It was dissappointing to see that Live games could not be played split screen. It would have been nice to have included the option of allowing guests on Live games. I'm not sure if downloadable content will be available for this game but with Episode III coming out and surely another epic battle scene, it would be nice to be able to just download new levels instead of waiting to buy a new game. Good job developers, this is the best SW game yet! Also, THANK YOU for making it more than 16 players. Hopefully Bungie will do the same for Halo 2.
