Overall: Overall this game was fun but is more of the type of game to hold you over until the game you want comes out or just a plain renter. It is fun and when you start playing you wanna win but you won't wanna just pick it up and play for the hell of it again.
Gameplay: The game is very simple to play. It has the dark and light campairn modes so you can play as a lot of different style characters which is pretty fun. I think this was the best part done in the game but still there is no replay value.
Graphics: It looks decent but doesn't really compare to newer games that have come out. The look is dark and medievil like it should be and the characters are unique looking but it isn't as smooth as it should be.
Sound: The sound was done alright in my opinion. It serves its purpose and each sound is distinct but it doesn't add any excitement or feeling to the game itself.

Overall: This game could have been great if they wouldn't have made it so hard and allowed the player to save it anywhere in each level that he wanted.
Gameplay: Too hard. You almost make it through the level then you die. Then you have to repeat it again and again. Way too frustrating. This game also suffers greatly from character slowdown. When there's more than a few enemies on the screen at the same time and they are close to you, the game starts going in slow motion. It gives the game a cheezy feel.
Graphics: Graphics, although not sharp and crisp, have a lot of variety to them. The artist did a good job. ...
Sound: The sound is good. Nothing wrong with the sounds or the music. Keeps the mood right. ................
Suggestions: Allow the user to save the game ANYTIME he wants. Repetition is for people that like to exercise, not for gamers that work a full time job.

Overall: Overall pretty interesting game. Different than what i usually see or play but im still very disappointed with how it doesnt show what Xbox can do.
Gameplay: Gameplay is neat. Going through the game as each character available was good because too many people beat it with one and thats it.
Graphics: The look wasnt too great in this game. Not the smoothest looking but the environment went well with the game. Nowhere near the capabilities of Xbox.
Sound: Sound is alright i guess. Didnt add to the game a whole lot but it had basically all the game needed.

Overall: I was excited about getting into this one, but soon found the sharp learning curve of some levels VERY frustrating. The survival missions can be nerve racking and twitchy.
Gameplay: Did not like the controls, and if you hope to finish the game quickly without finding any gold, you're pretty much screwed. While level settings were kinda diverse, they were rather longwinded in later levels. Weapons looked !&%$@#* cool though.
Graphics: This is what I thought the game did best. The inhabitants of this world were very good looking and detailed. The levels while predictable, were well detailed. The weapons glow of fire or freeze with ice, a very nice touch.
Sound: This is where a goblin sucker punches you in the kidney. The voices bad, lip synced even worse and the roars, grunts and growls just didn't make the cut. The weapons look good, but the line stops there.
Suggestions: IF a sequal is in the works, make sure all elements are weighed and tested well before the release and maybe some multiplayer could up replay value.

Overall: This game looks good, sounds good and controls nicely. Sadly though, it lacks depth, with no deep involvement in the story, and a "seen it all before" style hack&slash gameplay.
Gameplay: The game is fun at times but is also frustrating at times. It provides no real combat system, and gives nothing more than a: "Run from point A to point B", kind of feeling.
That said there is the option to play the game from the perspective of the evil or the good side, and the number of characters and the options for character customisation are rather novel.
Graphics: This is where the game excels. The visuals are truly pleasing, featuring large and beautifully detailed levels in varying locals. Character models are good for the most part, but the faces of some characters are blocky and the facial details are of a low resolution.
Good overall, especially nice scenery.
Sound: The sound is rather good, with decent effects, and the epic soundtrack will be rolling around in your head when your trying to sleep, like ABBA songs...
Suggestions: A sequel is in development, and this time, improve the gameplay a little, thne it might be a winner.

Overall: Enclave is a very solid game. It keeps you hooked for hours at a time, it is really addictive. I stopped playing splinter cell for a couple of weeks to conquer this game! The game play is very good, and the storyline is generally intrigueing...the ai can really be sucky though. Blech. All in all a superb xbox title.
Gameplay: When you cut the beloved xbox on, create your game, and begin the first level you are addicted. Very addicted. Enclave has a more linear feel to it than most xbox titles thus far, but come on! We need a few linear titles. Some levels you have to fight bosses in, others you just make it out and its over. So it has alot of variety. Now lets discuss the ai. Ugh. I found myself saying this many times throughout the game, punching the wall and turning the xbox off, to watch tv. When you meet allies in the game, and they follow you the ai is absolutely disgusting. They get stuck behind things, fight wildly, and go off venturing on their own. From the level with the huntress on, I just left all friendlys behind. Enemy ai is more than decent. They fight strategically, know when to attack, and know where to attack. (The archers go for head-shots and so on) Often I found my own character stuck behind crates and boxes. Once or twice I had to restart the whole level, in result of being stuck. But overall the ai is decent. In each level you are supposed to find a certain amount of gold. If you dont find it all you always have the option of re -doing the level, without losing the progress you have made in the levels after the one you are retrying. The more gold you find, the better items you can get. After each level you can equip your character with various weapons, shields, staff's, armor, etc. After each level you normally unlock more items that you can buy. But with the druid, and wizard more staff's would have been nice. I think there is only about 8 staffs you can use through the light campaighn. Also there needs to be more of a difference between the evil creatures, and the good characters, and the weapons that you are able to use. There should also be more characters you can unlock in each campaighn. Starbreeze also needs to focus a bit on the storyline. It wasn't very in depth. A more variety of weapons would also be nice, Instead of just staff's, axes, hammers, and swords.
Graphics: The graphics in enclave were very good, although some of the character models and levels are a bit rough and unproportional. But the druid's bum did bounce exactly how I thought it should ;). The enemies looked fairly well, and the level designs were ok. Too many of the levels looked alike though, and I found myself passing things that looks exactly alike over and over and over again. But overall the visual appeal is great.
Sound: Medieval music. Nice. Im a sucker for anything medieval so it suited me well. The hack and slash of the swords sounded like the hack and slash of swords, and the voices were good. The only really annoying thing was the constant ugh's and moans of each character.
Suggestions: More characters, more weapon variety, better storyline, more roleplaying elements, a much bigger difference between the dark's weapons and characters, and the lights. Oh yea... and an Enclave II!

Overall: This game is well thought out and the story is original. That is pretty much all I ask when it comes to games like this. The inclusion of allowing me, the player, to choose my own destiny was much appreciated. Hopefulyy, other developers will take note of this, and use it in the near future.
Gameplay: The gameplay aspect of this game is good, unfortunately not great. I found myself missing swings I should have hit, and other whacky things like that. Although, it didn't really bother me, it did give me a learning curve on how to his certain, short bad guys. Other then that, the layout of the controlls were awesome. A little hesitation in them when on the menus, but who cares about pushing menu buttons.
Graphics: This game is beautiful. No doubt about that. It is one of the best games visually. I like how you can see the red glow of the goblins; And the Orcs looked fabulous. The character models were well done, and detailed. Quite a take on a medievil world. At least they did a good job of it.
Sound: The sound was good. Sometimes I found myself reading the dialog instead of listening This is because while you are in action, you can barely hear anything else other then the clashing and banging. The music was decent, not the best. It got the job done, and that is all I can ask for.
Suggestions: Maybe make a mass multiplayer version of this game. It is worth the effort.

Overall: If it were online or at least had a 2 player it would be much better. After you beat it or even get far into the game, you run out of new things to buy. The difference between weapons and such isn't very dramatic. Once you beat it I don't think you'll play it much, not for a while at least. The characters aren't different enough to want to beat it which each character aor anything.
Gameplay: This game is pretty cool. It's not a big thinking game obviously, but it's fun to go around hacking and slashing your way through the maps, finding gold ,and buying different equipment.
Graphics: I was happily surprised with the graphics. I saw the screenshots on the site and whatever, but didn't think much of it. I liked it better when I saw them myself.
Sound: Nothing too special here, but no complaints either. Fits the atmosphere and so forth, so it does the job fine.
Suggestions: Dammit. I'm so tired of developers not making games like this with a 2 player mode. Even if u have online capabilities which this game doesn't, add a 2 player mode. I don't expect my brother to buy his own xbox just so I can play with him, obviously applies to friends who don't own xboxes as well.

Overall: this is a great game. i like it a lot. very few websites give this game justice. so many people complained about the fact that there are no save points in the missions (except for about 2 times). but you know what? who cares, you little pansy. its a great game. save points dont detract from it. in fact they add to the challenge.
Gameplay: gameplay was a LOT of fun. this is a great action/rpg title for xbox. it is probably the most underated game out there. its much more than just hack n slash, as people claim thats all it is. its a very fun game. two campaigns with a total of 14 characters (if you can get all the gold in the game to unlock the final two) means a lot of gameplay.
Graphics: great graphics. not the best, but awesome nonetheless. character models, environments, fire, water, and spells all look magnificent
Sound: great sound. really brings you into the game. wonderful music that fits the game great and good sound effects during fighting and talking
Suggestions: add a multiplayer, as was originally planned, and have it support xbox live. other than that, you guys did an awesome job. bravo. oh yeah, and make an enclave 2 soon and make it even better.

Overall: Mid-Evel gaming never has been so graffically detailed as this. Although it has one huge fault, the first 6 - 7 levels were non-stop action but after that you have to be a real life magician to beat the following levels. Thank God for the
cheats available that let you skip a level or play it in Godmode. If the makers of this game could figure out that we enjoyed the game at a normal pace they would have made a keeper.
I suggest you rent it and play until you get to these impossible levels.
Gameplay: While the game does get intolerable after the seventh level, the journey to this point is worth the rental . You'll love the fire level, which is the best gaming I've had on my X box ( as far as single levels go ). The rest of the first six levels are also easily enjoyed. The game has some great ideas like poison arrows and the ice sword. The controlls are set up for fast paced action. If only it didn't turn into lightning fast pace action after the 7th level
this game would be right up there with Halo.
Graphics: The amount of detail in this game is a true exsample of what the X box can pull off. While Halo still takes the cake this game is not to far behind.
Sound: The music is a great score for a mid-evil game. The music changes every level to adapt to your enviroments. Some times you'll get the hero marching down the sunny streets killing all that's evil sound, or there's the watch your back sound on tougher levels. Most of the time you'll get the watch your back.
Suggestions: Make a sequel, but let's keep the max difficulty down to an enjoyable level. For example, I would have been content in having the lava (fire) level as the last level on the good campaign, with some easier levels inbetween.

Overall: Enclave really is an exceptional game. I am sick and tired of hearing peolpe whine about it's high degree af difficulty. I could see that if a person had A.D.D. they might not be able to get into this game, but a good challenge is what I look for. When women are cheap and easy, and let me go all the way on the first date, there's not much more I want from them (Are you with me fellas?). By the same token, if I play an easy game and finish it in one or two sittings, I'm done with it, just like an easy woman. Enclave is a challenging game that requires persistance, patience, and strategy. If you possess none of these attributes, buy a Gamecube.
Gameplay: The gameplay is just as addictive as Halo's. It keeps you coming back for more (unless you don't like a good challenge). I think the addition of save points would have made the game too easy. I doubt if the developer had children in mind when they made the game. Multiplayer would have been cool, but the single player experience was so extraordinarily good that I'm not complaining.
Graphics: I have read several reviews stating the graphics are poor. Are you people f---ing blind? Enclave is a beautiful game with gorgeous textures all over the place. How anyone could disagree is beyond me. This is what an Xbox game should look like.
Sound: Thomas Neuman's music in American Beauty helped make it the movie it is. The same is true with Enclave. The soundtrack was ideal for a game with a medieval setting. Most definitely an asset.
Suggestions: Don't be bothered by magazine reviews. They probably didn't like having their Jupiter-sized egos put in check by such a challenging game. I absoultey loved your product. Please make Enclave II.

Overall: This is a great game that would be in the same realm as Halo if not for the one, single design flaw. This is a hard game. It's not bad for a game to be challenging, unless, of course, you review games for Extended Play or OXM. It is bad for a game to be frustrating because you have to replay levels for hours because there are rarely second chances given. And those second chances often come at a steep price. Imagine how much you would like Halo if there were no midmission saving or checkpoints. That is this game. Incredibley high quality but so hard, only true gamers need apply.

Enough of what's wrong, let me go over what is right. The gameplay works. The characters each have their own uses, exceptiong, maybe, the bombadier type. The graphics are stunning. The music fitting for the genre. The story, well, who cares.
Gameplay: One of the coolest things about this game is that you can't just walk up to the bosses and cut them in half. Each has its gimmick, and must be destroyed in a certain way. This can be a problem because, as I said before, the game makes you play nearly all the levels with one life, with a couple of levels actually having a checkpoint that costs you gold to use. Still, I appreciate the old school approach to the boss battles.

Now, allow me to argue some points certain morons in the media use as faults for this game. First; no lock-on makes this game unplayable. What idiots. This game handles hand-to-hand melee superbly. It's pretty much about timing. Attack, block and pull back. Attack. Not rocket science. But I can't expect people who give dance games 4 out of 5's to have any real weighted opinion on the matter.
Second; the ranged characters are useless. Did you button-mashers even play this game? Certain levels are basically unbeatable without them. How did you get past the first lava stage? With a knight? Imay be using harsh language but this game deserves much better marks.

Anyway. Another cool aspect is that you get to outfit your chosen character however you choose. As you go deeper into the game, you gain better, and more expensive, gear. Each character has thier own list of gear they may use, but their is a lot of sharing between classes. Don't expect you Knight to use the bow and arrow, but he is quite handy with the crossbow.
I would give this category a perfect if it weren't for, let's all say it togethor now, no midmission saving.
Graphics: Simply gorgeous. It looks like a PC game. I haven't had the opportunity to see this game running on anything better than a normal tube, but I can only imagine how beautiful it must be. From the impossibley realized characters to the uncanny wall textures to the fluidity of the frame rate; these are the best graphics on the Xbox since Jet Set Radio.
Sound: The sound effects were well done, as was the soundtrack. While I wouldn't neccesarily buy it, it fit the game perfectly.
Suggestions: I think you know what I going to say so I'll make it quick. Saving.

Also, why not give the characters names instead of just classes.

Overall: This is one of those games that sucks you in from the start. This game is somewhat challenging, but if you're up for it, it's well worth the 50 bucks. As a gamer for the last 20 years, I'd say that this is one of the best games around, and is probably the best right now for the Xbox.
Gameplay: The gameplay is definitely challenging, but is so fun and enjoyable that you'll look forward to trying to complete the next level. It has a pretty good level of replayability. If it only had multiplayer it would really rock, but as it is now it still gets a 5.

The controls are easy to get used to, especially if you've played Halo. The jumping with the right thumbstick is my only complaint, but that is the only problem that this game has so far, after about 8 hours of playing, and it's very minor.

Everything ties together in this game to make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It seems like one of those games that after you put it down for awhile you're gonna want to play it again, even if you've beaten it already.
Graphics: Excellent graphics, it just makes me wish that I had a bigger tv. Fluid at all times so far. The various screenshots on the net don't do this game justice, you have to see it in action.
Sound: I've got dolby 5.1, and this game definitely sounds good playing through the speakers. The music is very good, and fits the mood of the game perfectly.
Suggestions: If you'd kept this one in development for a couple more months and given it some kind of multiplay, it'd be off the charts.

A game like this on XboxLive would be awesome.. maybe some day.

Overall: Overall, this game is great and I don't even like these types of games. I rented it first because I heard mixed reviews. I don't know what the reviewers were smoking but this game is one of the best on the box. Needless to say I went and bought it. Replay value is very high since you can go through to find gold you missed, and there are several characters you can use, each has their own weapons, strengths and weaknesses. It is interesting to see how some areas are hard with some characters and easier with others. Graphically, it stands as one of the elite (if not the best) on the box. Don't listen to the reviews - rent it and see for yourself. I saw reviews for Splashdown which averaged about 1 point higher than for Enclave and Splashdown was a 45 minute bore.
This game will be a showcase game when friends come over to check out the box - it will sell boxes.
Gameplay: What can you say about a game that lets you play in 1st or 3rd person view and also lets you snipe with arrows, shoot spells like a photon gun, and whack the crap out of enemies. Highly varied gameplay and you can choose how you want to play. Sometimes I try and get through levels just by sniping, other times I go the hack and slash route - it's your choice.
The lack of save points bothered people, but I'll tell you, when a huge axe bearing fully armoured beast comes running around the corner you get really scared because unlike other games this is really like life and death. The save system may be frustrating for some, but I think those are people who rent and want to finish the game in a weekend. Anyway, there are save points right before boss battles. Highly addictive. There is always something new in each level that you go "wow, that's cool!"
Graphics: What can I say, this game has no equal in the graphics department. Every level has an astounding amount of detail and ambience. Also, each level has a really different atmosphere than the others. The variety is really good.
Poly counts on enemies are amazing. They are so good, that sometimes I use my sniping arrows to zoom in close on the enemy and just look at them. Snottlings are scary especially when in zoom mode their little beaty red eyes just flicker on and off. They even breathe.
Sound: Overall sound effects are great. Voice acting is very good. Weapon sounds are great. Characters grunt when swinging heavy weapons. Music is amazing. This sounds like a high budget movie score with a full orchestral and choral ensemble.
Suggestions: With the variety of weapons and characters this game begs for multiplayer levels. They could have just used the existing game levels which have alot of potential as multiplayer maps.

Overall: Without a save any where in level option my opinions of this game were origninally in the 2 to 3 range, max. But after playing it for a while, while frustrating in some areas of the games in some levels where the AI gives you a cheap one shot, one kill head hit and you don't know where it comes from, ... this game really sucks you into wanting to retry it over and over again until not only do you find where the assassin lives, but you get the names of his family and prepare to kill all who would mourn for such a whelp's death, as it would be placed in the paper as a DSAF. Did society a favor.

Gameplay: Despite the loss of not being able to save anywhere in level, and the lack of difficultiy modes, it's still a very fun and addictive hack and slash game. It keeps you coming back to look for gold that you may have missed the frist time through, or with the choice of several different char's at our disposal, what would it be like to try character B instead of A, to see how the level plays out.
It really is fun.
Graphics: Graphics are great, no doubts there, though not quite up to Morrowind standards. They appear to be the next best for any game on any system within the RPG - adventure category. But man, the 3rd person camera is a real man in the netheregions at times in battle. That alone knocks it from a 5 to 4.5
It doesn't make the difficulty ramp up too much higher, but it's just a pain every so often, if you know what I mean.
Sound: Good sounds, in voices, effects, music, etc. Nothing to detract from the game come to mind, But there was some feelings of that sounded cool for an effect, and perfectly timed as well.

Overall: Overall I give this game a 4.0 because despite the beautiful graphics, captivating story line and entorage or various characters, the game leaves you wanting in some areas. Personaly I liked the lack of a save point in SOME levels, but the longer ones REALLY could have used a checkpoint or something.
Gameplay: Again, 4.0 because there was NO MULTIPLAYER, what happened? I heard this game was to have massive multi-player madness, and then poof, nothing, that was a real shame. Can you image running through the game w/ atleast one other person, covering you back; Or having a huntress provide cover fire or the druid extending her magic shield to protect you both from a hail of arrows? That would have made this game kick-ass.
Graphics: Astounding, the detail, the movement, the complete lack of ANY slow down. My hat goes off to you Starbreeze.
Sound: Awesome music and atmosphere, could have used a change in the weapon sounds now and then, especially in a linear hack'n'slash. For example the sound of a sword on Metal/Wood/Stone is always the same.
Suggestions: -Multiplayer PLEASE!
-Differing sound effects
-Visuals were PERFECT, don't change a thing!!!! =)

Overall: Overall, a very exciting and engrossing game. The combat system is very fast paced and challenging. Sound and visual used very well to built atmosphere.
Gameplay: The controls are outstanding other than the jump button (right stick pushin). A minor point. As others have mentioned, some of the levels are insanely difficult. This works up to a point because it gave me a "I'm going to finish this no matter how long it takes me" attitude. However, I found one level to be fairly impossible (too long to maintain the errorless play required). Simple solution: if you get too frustrated and want to move on - GOD MODE CHEAT.
Graphics: The best visuals since Halo. The menu screens are very professionally done (would not look out of place on a DVD-movie menu screen). Blood splatters (even from skeletons ?!?) are very cool.
Sound: Excellent music and sound effects. Crank up the 5.1!!! Seriously, if there is anybody yet who hasn't gotten a decent sound system yet, you're really missing out.
Suggestions: Either make it a little easier or allow more than 1 difficulty level (ala Halo).

Overall: The game is above average, unlike many XBOX games, and it was worth the buy, but not worth all the hype. I enjoyed the story and the weaponary, and the idea of finding gold to get items, and be able to sell the item back at the end of the level for the same price... but something was missing from this game. It didn't have that spark I wish it did, maybe I'm not into the whole "gladiator" type feel it has. Lets just say, I was glad I bought the game, but it will probably gather dust in the near-future as a lot of new and potentially way better titles are coming out.
Gameplay: The control scheme is very easy to get used to, and this game is by far a button-masher, it does require some skill and dexterity. What I liked the most about the game was the parts where you could interact with the environment.. ie: using a cannon to blow up doors and even enemeys :-) ... This game is what I call an 'accquired taste' game, either you're going to like this game or you're going to hate it. For instance, I invited a freind over to try it out, but he absolutley hated it, unlike me who liked it. I wish there was a multiplayer aspect to the game, or even a cooperative, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
Graphics: The games graphics are alright, not so much the characters as the world. The walls and ground are well textured, but the characters looked too much like a PSX game to me. The blood that squirts from people/creatures is alright, but sometimes when you see blood on the ground, it's a little shiny and doesn't look realistic. The graphics could have been way better, but I already did get some frame rate problems at some points of the game, so I guess they sacrificed graphics for playability. What's sad is that the graphics are not the games biggest problems. (see below)
Sound: Alright, I didn't like the sound in this game at all. From the voice acting to the effects of weapons it was very bad. Low-quality at best, I rather have just my own music playing then the crap contained on this game. This is with out a doubt the worst aspect to the game and could use a MAJOR over haul, especially when they were very stingy with the graphics. Ok, I don't want to insult the game makers anymore, so I'll finish with these words: 'your sound sucks'
Suggestions: I have yet to beat the game, I am very close to the end, and once I beat it, the dust will begin to pile on top of it. There is no replayability to this game, but in the end I enjoyed playing it because I like the setting and style of the game. As for a suggestion... make a sequel, but you are treading on thin ice with me, you NEED to do better with the sound here... as for the graphics, don't ruin it by making them better and then having a even worse frame rate.

Overall: A pretty strong game ... much more than i expected when i was reading about it. A solid storyline guides you through a game that is set wayyyy back in time... the way they made these environments is amazing it really sucks u right into the game and gets u in the mood! The fighting is fun but does get a bit repetitive and annoying at times... but really it is quite a solid product!
Gameplay: The gameplay if done right could have made this a killer game but unfortunately it is kind of sloppy in many places... two things that really bug me are the jumping controls and climbing ladders. Some ladders are high enough to hurt you if you fall, but it seems there is no way possible to climb down those annoying ladders. This could have been avoided with a little more love and tender care. For the jumping I for one am not a fan of the right thumb stick button as a jumping mechanism. It is often too difficult to jump and move at the same time. There is an option to change it so the A button is the jump button, but even this doesn't feel right. They should have kept the A button as the toggle through weapons activation and used the vacant B button as the jump button. Instead, they mix things up two much and with only two controller options to choose from, you'll have to spend some extra time in order to learn these somewhat sloppy controls.

Graphics: This is by far the strongest part of the game. The details and models are quite nice The walls are very finely detailed, where every wall and design seems to be unique. While this is not true, the game does have very well designed castles, where moss and stones on the castle walls seem to capture the true feeling of a medieval kingdom. The characters are also very well done, with scars, cuts in clothing, and blood marks found all over the characters skin. Not only is the detail high, but also the player models are nice and smooth, giving them a very realistic look to them, rather than the box look so commonly found in past generation machines. This game truly brings out the feeling of medieval times through its lush and finely crafted maps and objects.
Despite the games beauty, the animations are well below par. The hack and slash animations are very repetitive, where the characters seemed to be limited to one motion of attack for their strikes.
Sound: Enclave have some pretty bad music sadly... it just sounds like some no talent loser hitting keys on a keyboard. Nothing special at all really. The score sounds over-the-top at times, getting increasingly climatic, only to disappoint when it starts to sound too much like a videogame again. The compositions are complex and the different instrument sounds are almost limitless, but the music does not seem to fit this game that well.

Mind you the fighint sounds of swords and bow and arrows are not bad at all... really gets u feeling right in there!

Suggestions: Definitely work on the controls they are quite annoying... and plz put in a multiplayer and also get some good music in their like halo :)

Overall: A great-looking, medieval fantasy hack & slash w/ shooter elements! There's a lot to like in this game. If you can survive the di level, you will feel greatly rewarded.
Gameplay: Depending on character, you will cast spells, engage in simple melee or shoot arrows shooter-style through some killer levels. Lack of mid-level saves combined with a handful of instant-death surprises makes the game unnecessarily frustrating at times. Makes for a challenging game, but not fun for everyone.
Graphics: Excellent, sharp, detailed levels throughout this game. A real stunner at times, one of the better graphical offerings on Xbox.
Sound: Sound is decent, but I don't pay a lot of attention to it. Nothing horrible and nothing amazing.
Suggestions: If you really felt strongly about no mid-level saves, then you should have at least made a mid-level save cheat code. I think the game would've been more popular and sold better for you if it had. It's a great game.

Overall: This game totally rocks. Anyone that claims the game is too hard or needs save points is just plain sad. People that think that games should be a total cake walk should just buy a Gamecube. Anywho, This game is very appealing to people that loved the single player experience of Halo or Rune. The graphics are awesome, and the game is just downright fun. BEST GAME FOR XBOX YET!!!!!
Gameplay: THe gameplay feel is very similar to Halo, except you use your melee weapons more often to save arrows (if you even need to). You play through the level a few times to learn the scripting events such as explosions, falling floors, and boxes etc. You also figure out what type of enemy is where, and you just prepare yourself. It's fun as hell. If you're a serious gamer, THIS GAME IS A MUST BUY.
Graphics: The graphics on this game are unparalleled by any other game on XBOX to date. I'd score it a point or so higher than I would Halo easily. The bumpmapping of bricks, the DOA water effects, the killer moving sky above, and just the artwork alone is just unreal. There's plenty of blood flying (dissappears), and tons of cool looking enemies.
Sound: The sound creator of this game is absolutely brilliant! Again, the music sounds epic on many scales and really goes well with the game. The enemies talk and the sounds of arrows whizzing by really sounds cool, and scary at times!
Suggestions: All that is in the game is awesome. I think giving the enemies more phrases to say would be cool. The difficulty level is perfect to keep the game from being beaten in a week. (For those of us who work for a living) Multiplayer and Vehicles would be great in the next one.

Overall: Engaging game that becomes significantly more addictive when you get further along and discover how to use certain characters to your advantage. At first I was turned off of this title due to the issues that everyone else complains about, but now that some time has passed, I am hooked. It's a lot of fun to play.
Gameplay: The gameplay is good, although frustrating at times. I actually don't mind replaying the levels when I die now, because it gives me a chance to master the enemies early in the level. It's also a great feeling when you're able to drop an enemy after one shot in the face. I've found that for me personally, the druid with the heavy crossbow works wonders. I was able to get through levels with several vials left over using her, as opposed to the knight that I could never use to finish. If all else fails, try a different character and then equip him/her several different ways to see what works best for you.
Graphics: This is where this game really shines the most. Great texture detail and effects, like the rocks crumbling, enemies throwing barrels down at you, etc. I will say that it doesn't quite convey the atmosphere as well as a game like Halo, as everything seems somewhat sterile. You just don't feel like you're in the type of environment that you're supposed to be in. You have to play the game to see what I'm talking about. Also, due to the extensive detail and textures, the framerate gets a little choppy at times. Overall, very good though.
Sound: Great ambient sounds and effects on par with the visuals. The background music really draws you in, especially with a 5.1 surround system. The sound effects could be a little more varied, but again, very good.
Suggestions: Next time around implement some type of checkpoint system and generate the game's difficulty via other methods.

Overall: This game rocks. Period. Sure
there is no multi-player, and that
was a major bummer, but for a
single player game experience,
I'm enjoying it 100%. I rented it,
and after a couple of levels I was
hooked. It's a game I constantly
look forward to going back to,
which is a good thing.
Gameplay: A lot of people complain about the
combat, etc. But I don't have a
problem with it whatsoever. There
are slew of weapons to choose
from and unlock with the more
coins you pick up. It is very easy to
get into the game and quickly have
fun. It doesn't get old because
there are mini "puzzles" to figure
out and lots of hidden coins to
find. You really have to do each
board a few times before you
realize which characters abilities
suits the level the best. You have
the ability to choose your
characters arsenal prior to
entering the level, which is real
cool.
Graphics: This is where this game really
shines. This game looks
absolutely fantastic. You just have
to see it to believe it. Really
pushes the Xbox hard...frame rate
drops sometimes, but not enough
to be a complaint. The
environments and levels are so
diverse and there is so much eye
candy. You'll find yourself stopping
and looking around just to soak it
all in.
Sound: Sound is decent. Not great, but
doesn't rot either. The menu tune
gets old fast...the in-game
ambiance tunes are nice...
Suggestions: Multi-player would have really
made this game a "must have".

Overall: Its a very cool game, nice weapons, armours etc.

Gameplay: The Controls arent very hard to get used to.

Graphics: Graphics are OOH SWEEET!
There is nothing much more to say than that. Water, cliffs, grass everything = COOL.
Sound: The sound is OK. But there is something i dont like, when enemies die they sound a little "robotic".
The BGM is nice sounds like something from Gladiator, but its not big variation so you grow tired of it.
Suggestions: More diffrent weapons, armours, shields, and more vehicles to operate.
Oh and more BGM and better sounds of enemies.

Overall: These are my very first impression, I uselly wait more before posting reviews. But I really have to say What I have to say abour this game. At the beginning , I was a bit disappointed about several things in Enclave. The combat system is extremely simple, I was expecting something more complicated in a good way ( for those of you who have played Blade of darkness on PC...I might take this one as a reference). But otherwise, the game is pretty good.
Gameplay: The controls are OK and the difficulty is so long in the game average. I think that it's necessary to explore a lot in this game, as you might find hidden potions and/or gold everywhere. The action is breathtaking and you the very first time you play a level, you are always surprised by some falling rocks or exploding walls and so on...
This makes the game rich and exciting, as you may be able to use this to your advantage in combat. A negativ point is also that you will rarely find weapons or items other than god/potions/arrows. A better balance between gold/items could have add a new dimension to the inventory management. Another personal point of view concerning this: I do not like when items float in the air with some kin of aura around them...it makes me think about some old super mario game :-)
Graphics: No need to tell that the graphics are extremely good. The characters are very well detailed and the textures are also very good. Some have complain about the framerate. I have experiment some slowdown some few times, that's a pity and this is the reason why I gave this game 4.5, but there is absolutely no reason to 'crucify' the game for that. Many other good games do have slow-downs.
Sound: The music is a bit repetitiv to my taste, but the rest of the sound effects are good corresponding to the atmosphere of the game.
Suggestions: Really good work...try to make the game more a RPG by letting the character find items along the way...trade them and so on. Extend the combat system.

Overall: What the else is going on here ? We take some old !&%$@#* ing game has our best game like amped or ssx tricky and sometimes this is a multi-console game. Enclave was one of the most anticipated game of all times and what we do ? We ridiculise him ! Just because you can save or some stupid !&%$@#* like that !
Gameplay: So easy you must fight as the third person view or first person view. So it's a hack and slash like Hunter but really a way better. If you like dungeon and dragon, you will like it. I love all the character and the weapon we are able to take also.
Graphics: Crappy but this is cool ! Has Ren37 said : the textuire look bizare or crappy but that because we are in th emiddle age so it must be like that.
Sound: Oh my god ! A french spanish or german game first time ever see that before ! The sound and the music in my mind are the best ever wrote for a game.
Suggestions: Why did you erase the multiplayer ?

Overall: First off I have beaten the WHOLE game, so if you want a good analysis of the game lissen up!

The game IS hard, no doubt about it, you do get screwed from time to time. BUT the levels are do-able! if you want a GOOD COMPARISON this game requires the SKILL needed to be good at Bond 007 on the N64, (you can quote me on that one). What I mean by that quote is you unfortunatlly MUST know what is going to happen next, and become a master of it; though some may not like this method of gaming, you can't argue that 007 was a bad game. This game you can play though a 1st OR 3rd person perspective, just as in Morrowind, and you'll use them both alot...

This game gives YOU plenty of chances to beat the levels, 'if you are cautious'. There are LOADS of POTIONS throught the levels (at the end of one I had 8 potions, each potion heals you 1/2 life. And I didn't even buy any before the level, nor did i use any through that particular level). As you go through the levels you'll find lots of $ with which you can upgrade your character/s upon finishing the level. There are 12 playable characters 6 on the Good team and 6 on the Evil team. Once you beath the 'good' campagin you will be given the 'evil' campagin to beat, (which for the most part are entirly different levels). In ENCLAVE the world has been split; Good vs Evil, only a small city surrowned by a DEEP gourge seperates the two sides. The gourge was created by a wizard (good wizard) many thousands of years earlier during a great battle, the wizard realized he was overpowerd, and thrust his staff into the earth splitting the two sides.

As you can see by there IS a story to the game, and good explenation as to what is happening in the world. The game gives a VERY descriptive vido as to what has/is happening thought the game... So thoes of you who like to be drawn into the game "I have'nt seen any other game on XBox that does it this well," it tops any other XBox game in terms of 'I want to play more'.

Honestlly this one has alot in it, it goes WAY ABOVE any Hack-Slash game, there's alot more to it; once you learn to play the game for REAL, and learn the inerdinamics of its game play! Like I said it's KINDA like the NEXT BOND game, cause !&%$@#* is this game a challange!
Gameplay: There's not much I can say about the GamePlay in ENCLAVE; it's a hell of alot better then any Hack & Slash game, I'll tell you that. Though this game may be looked at as a H&S, I serriouslly disagree. Cause there is SO much that one can do in this game. In terms of fighting. There are LOADS of weapons and armor in this game, as you progress you unlock better armor, and that really helps.

The game is NOT as hard as some have said it was, it is hard at times, but you'll be able to beat any level if you are cautious!

As you beat levels and progress, you meat NEW HEROS, these heros become avaliable for you to play with in the next level. The different characters that you can select before going into battle really opens a slot for REPLAYABILITY! There's a character for every gamer! If you want a chalanging game, (well in some respects) this is a must have, if you want a new game that mixes UTTER SKILL with fun this is for you.

On the DOWN SIDE OF THE GAME-PLAY: you can often see the AI spawn (far in the distance or if you are ZOOMED), this does NOT affect the game at all, but it's kinda lame at times. And the AI don't always charge at you when you shoot at them, so it is easy to kill them at times.
Graphics: ENCLAVE has many textures as high quality as Halo, you just need to look for them, the character models' detail levels are OUTSTANDING (you need to zoom to really see it on them). The caracter animation is EXCELENT!
Sound: Excelent musical score, above average by far. Very high quality SFX come with the game, so it can really get you into the battles. Character voices are fine, not an annoyance at all.
Suggestions: Excelent game overall; but some things to improve, make the AI's path-finding better, and their aggression/player persute more advanced. Don't let the player see the enemy units spawn.

Gameplay: Fun to play, very difficult. A mulitplayer and a save game feature would have been great. But, o-well.
Graphics: Extroadinary!!! Some of the best since halo (but still not as good as halo). The great graphics are a mjorplus for the game.
Sound: The music is nice and miedevil. Good quality music and sound affects for a good quality game.
