I had heard a lot of bad things about this game before I bought it, so maybe my lowered expectations made me like it a lot more. In the end, I found the Simpson's Road Rage to be a very fun and funny game. It's been compared to Crazi Taxi, but I think it's better."

Description

Remember that episode of The Simpsons when all the Simpsons got in cars and raced against each other through Springfield? Well, neither do we, but the concept has possibilities, and we can't wait to drive the Professor Frink's Glavenmobile. Plus, this game is said to resemble Crazy Taxi, and that's not a bad pedigree.

Overall: I've always wanted a Simpsons game that I could play for hours and enjoy. Something that would be like the cartoon is. I haven't seen it so far, and am still waiting. However this is a racing game and isn't trying to be like a storylline of The Simpsons. I personally liked this game because I've played Crazy Taxi and this in a way is like it.
Gameplay: If you like The Simpsons and you like Crazy Taxi then this game is for you. It combines both to give it a different game. I just think it's a funny game to just drive and then all of a sudden crash into something. I like to make the games funner than they should be. :D
Graphics: It's a cartoon so you can't say it's graphic. However it looks just like the cartoon so I would have to say that the visual is good.
Sound: Listening to the characters talk is always a good thing. I can't complain what so ever about the sounds.
Suggestions: If anything possible I would probably chose a different route for this game. It's fun to a point and then it's no longer a game you want to play. Especially if you've played Crazy Taxi a lot. I would suggest doing a more race type game if it has to stay on the car path, otherwise I would make a game that is more like the actually simpsons where Homer can do whatever he can to screw things up, or have Bart tick him off. Or mess up the school anyway possible.

Overall: until now simpsons games just havent lived up to the great cartoon they are based on..... the question is: does SIMPSONS road rage break that tradition...
the answer is a definite no.
Gameplay: gameplay is very basic... but not in a smooth, minimalist type of way... before long you will have covered all this game has to offer, and will be bored of it.
definitly not a definative game... just another simpsons cash in
Graphics: in my poinion a simpsons game should have cell-shaded graphics... and this one does, it's just that the developers cell-shading methods just dont seem very good.
the game doesnt look bad, but it doesnt look like the simpsons cartoon... which in the end of the day, is what it should look like.
Sound: sound is as repetative as the gameplay(which if you havnt guessed, is very repetative) music gets anoying, engines sound wierd... it's all just about as good as the game it's self.
Suggestions: completly different game... live! play

Overall: A good comparison and even companion to Crazy Taxi. While the fans may feel let down, Simpsons Hit and Run, will pick up where this title lets off.
Gameplay: Good controls, and the multiplay is great and often a great grounds for verbal abuse from or to others. The town layout is ok, but Hit and Run is better.
Graphics: The cars look ok, and many are unlockable. The game may not be quite as clean driving as Crazy Taxi or Hit and Run, but fans of the show won't care.
Sound: All of the fan favorite catch phrases and one liners keep you driving with rage. As well, many destinations are obvious after you know how to get there from character and town descriptions.

Overall: Personally, I hated this game. I thought the graphics and gameplay were pathetic and i beat the game in about 3 hours!
Gameplay: Like i said it was pathetic. Sure its fun for the first couple of times you play it but after that it just gets plain boring. The only good thing i can say about the gameplay is that its fun when you clobber you friend in the multiplayer mode.
Graphics: the graphics were absolutely terrible. The new "Cel" visuals are horrific. Well i don't know would you rather have some cartoony graphics that make it look like a N64 game or some real graphics that actually look half-decent.
Sound: Sound was the only good thing in the game. They were the real voices of the characters and they had lots of funny quotes! It actually reminded me of the "real" Simpsons!
Suggestions: please don't make a sequel! lol!

Overall: If you've played Crazy Taxi, get ready for the same thing only far more interesting. Driving, picking up, etc.
Gameplay: Well, you choose a character from the show. They have their car. You pick people up, drop them off, and collect cash. Yawn.
Graphics: The game looks like the Simpsons, only in their 3d glory. I like this idea better than cel-shades actually.
Sound: The sounds are all great, but really monotonous and repetitive and redundant and the same. If you've heard it, you've heard it.

Overall: Being a huge Simpsons fan I couldn't resist picking this game up. I am happy with the purchase, being I only paid 20 bucks for it. Had I paid 50 I would have been greatly disappointed.
Gameplay: You pretty much drive around Springfield picking up various Simpsons characters. When you earn enough points you can unlock other cars and levels. Pretty simple but pretty entertaining as well.
Graphics: The game loses points here. It wasn't very pretty to look at. In addition some of the characters seemed poorly animated.
Sound: Loses major points here. Many times when you drop off a passenger they don't start talking until you have left with another passenger. Small things like that really bug me.

Overall: This is a really fun and entertaining game and if u like the simpsons at all youll really like this game.
Gameplay: This game is like Crazy Taxi and it also has 10 mini games which are cool and there are tons of characters with real voices.
Graphics: This may be the only part of the game that is lacking there isnt really that much wrong there just isnt anything outstanding about it.
Sound: The sound is sooooooo sweeeeet its so funny what the characters say and they all say like 10 different things.

Overall: Simpsons Road Rage is a Simpsons take on Crazy Taxi style arcade action. Drive around town with many of your favorite Simpsons characters and play Crazy Taxi style. If your not a Simpsons fan, you should think twice about purchase because that would be the only purchase point of this over Crazy Taxi 3. The game is fun though and thats where it counts most. Overall, its an average game with an awsome license which is its redeeming point.
Gameplay: The game is exactly the same as Crazy Taxi, you pick up passengers and take them for a drive for cash. The story behind this one is that Mr. Burns has bought up the bus route, is running the buses on nuclear toxins, and is jacking up the fares. Its up to you and a wide variety of your favorite Simpsons characters to raise enough money to buy back the buses and get everything straight. There is multiplayer (2 players), and a last minute mission mode which includes 10 missions, all about the same. The game is very repetitive and I am rating this taking none Simpsons fans into mind who might not appreciate the game as much as others.
Graphics: Its cel-shaded, and even for cel-shading, the game looks average. There are slight glitches in the graphics at times, but otherwise its just about average looking.
Sound: The cast of the Simpsons is here with funny one liners making for some great fun. This is its best quality, if your not a Simpsons fan, you might not get some of the jokes, but if you are, all the better!
Suggestions: Better grapics, more variety of things to do and see. Take more time making the missions in mission mode.

Overall: It is a decent game. It gets repetative after a while but it is fun to hear what each character has to say so it has some staying power.
Gameplay: The gameplay is fine for this kind of game. Some of the cars seem a little hard to control but I think it is meant to be that way, knowing the Simpsons. It feels a lot like an arcade style game and it is fun
Graphics: The graphics are what you would expect from a cartoon based game. They're not great but they are adequate and everything looks like it does on the cartoon pretty much.
Sound: The sound is great as you would expect from a Simpson's franchise game. All the cartoony effects, the same people doing the voices, same style of music, etc.
Suggestions: Maybe make it more interesting than what it is.. it's basically Crazy Taxi meets The Simpsons

Overall: You cater to the needs of springfield citizens while charging extreme fees and getting rewarded for getting them there on time fast.
Gameplay: Really for simpsons fans only (which i am). While i love it, it could be a lot better. The game is probably the most basic game ive ever played. You'll enjoy going
around springfield with all your favorite characters and stopping at the Kwik E mart and the simpsons house itself. This game, while it will take you a very long time to get 1,000,000 dollars to save the cities taxis, gets boring after say 400,000 dollars and you just want to play it just to beat it. What I did like and thought was extremely cool and uses the power of the xbox is that on christmas, thanksgiving, and new years on your xbox calendar you get to unlock secret cars such as marge in a thanksgiving car dressed as a pilgrim ...but the bad thing is its only for that day only....While it may take you awhile to beat it, its a very small game....theres not much to do....the missions will take you 30 minutes to beat for all of them and then theres really nothing left to do except raise the 1,000,000 dollars and after that it has no replay value. The multiplayer is poor and could of been a lot better. It's EA sucking up to PS2 again and only making the game for 2 players.not to mention THIS GAME TAKES FOREVER TO LOAD..I THOUGHT I WAS PLAYING A PS2...THIS HAD TO BE A PORT!...What EA should of done with this game is add a racing format to it....sorta like a Mario Kart thing where you just race laps around springfield against 15 cars.... that would of made it better and added to the replay and longevity of the game... They could of fit it into the game...heck they could of fit this game into the Sega GT/ JSRF cd that comes with every xbox...It's still a great game and a good pickup that should lasts you weeks especially for around 17 dollars ... putting my simpsons bias aside 3.5..
Graphics: I like the cell shading or whatever its called on the cars...but the cars are the only things that look great the other things like the characters and the city itself are ok....
Sound: you'll love the characters voices and after every "game over" where krusty does your ranking always cracks me up when he changes his voice.
Suggestions: Nothing really hit and run looks sweet but the graphics could be better then again its supposed to be a cartoon its not like they're creating real people and trying to make them lifelike

Overall: Wel,i wil speek Norwigian.

Overall: This game has been compared to Crazi Taxi, but I found it to be far superior. Simpson's Road Rage has about 16 more characters, 16 more vehicles, and 4 more levels then your average Crazy Taxi game. It also is hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed driving around the Simpson's world.
Gameplay: The gameplay is simple, but effective. Essentially, if you like the Simpsons, you will love this game. All the favorite characters are there, and the Simpsons world is perfectly captured. The levels are huge and packed with several secret areas and shortcuts.
Graphics: The fully rendered Simpsons world is great. The characters look terrific. This game had very competent graphics.
Sound: The game uses the voice talent from the TV show, which is a real plus. The comments can wear thin after repeated playings with the same driver, but if you change drivers (there are 20) you hear all new interactions and comments.
Suggestions: A few minor issues I have, is that on one level it is easy to get stuck down dead ends without warning (the power plant level) and is harder than it should be. The other is not being able to skip the Mr Burns cinematic after the conclusion of each game.

Overall: Another Simpsons Game! The Simpsons Road Rage is essentially just Crazy Taxi with the Simpsons name slapped on the cover. It features 6 different Springfield locations, ranging from Evergreen Terrace, to Mr. Burn's Nuclear Powerplant. 19 different characters are featured as drivers, with a further 10 non-playable locals. This makes for 29 different Simpsons characters! The objective of this game is to taxi around enough people to raise $1,000,000 to buy back the Springfield transit. There is a new reward system where you get to choose what to unlock- a new car or a new location. Unfortunately, once you get to places like the powerplant, the people you pick up want to go to extremely stupid places, i.e. The nuclear generators!?

The game also suffers from a lack of difficulty and has a fairly short lifespan.
Gameplay: The gameplay is good, as it is just the tried and true formular used by games like Crazy Taxi. If there were 2 words to describe this game it would be "CRAZY TAXI"

At different points during the game, you may be faced with the "Road Rage" challenge or the "Safe Trip" challenge. The former consists of knocking over as many things as possible in the timelimit and delivering your customer to their destination. The latter makes you avoid the cars that are on the road, while delivering your customer to their destination in the time limit. The game can become downright annoying when you are issued with a "safe trip challenge" because Mr. Burns, along with his army of manic bus drivers, search the roads trying to find you. Once they do find you, they'll try and ram you off the road. The problem here is when you're on a safe trip challenge, and only metres away from your destination, when all of a sudden a huge bus comes out of nowhere and you fail the challenge.
Graphics: The game is cartoony, just like the show. The characters all look real, and the locations look the same as if they were on the tv show.
Sound: The sound in Simpson's Road Rage is great, and possibly the games best point. All the characters speak, and when a special combination of characters meet, i.e. Bart & Homer, they will argue. Grandpa Simpson is especially funny, with his continual rants. There will sometimes be a hiccup in the voice overs but all in all, the game is fairly good in the sound department.

Overall: I have got to say this is a very fun game. It was the best simpsons game of the next generation systems and i agree. This game is so !&%$@#* fun. Driving around in Springfield won't get old for a long time. There are a few slight problems but they could be ignored. This game has the acual character vocies of the people on the show. The story to this game is sort of a good idea but i think they could of came up with better. The mission mode is fairly easy. You can beat it easily in an hour or less if you know what you are doing. The missions in that mode aren't that creative. Most of them you just crash into 10 logs for example. I have to say i didn't enjoy the mission mode as much but it is still fun. This game you can interact with almost anything. Crash into a sign it breaks down, crash into a garbage can and it goes flying, and best of all crash into a member of springfield they go flying! The Road Rage mode will keep you going for days and days, and the head to head mode will make you go even longer. If you want to have a good time and have a lot of fun, Simpsons Road Rage is the game for you!
Gameplay: The controls in this game are a little getting used to. When you play this game for the first time you might play it like crazy taxiby pressing R to go and L to break, well its different. You can change it though. Once you get comfortable with these controls it will be easy and you be driving like a cool dude!
Graphics: These graphics were good for a simpson game. Any other game these graphics would be horrible. Lets start off with the people, htye are well noticeable and easy to figure out who everyonr is. The billboards and signs on the road are easy to read and funny. The only part are the cars, they look plain. Each car has its strong look to it but most of them are plain.
Sound: The sound in this game was a little hard to hear. You have to turn up the sound to understand for the beggining movie. As for in the game the sound is O.K. but not as good as the other strong points in this game. On the soon to come simpsons games they should make the sound a lot better on the games.
Suggestions: KEEP ON MAKING SIMPSONS GAMES!!!!

Overall: Lucky for me I'm a big fan of the Simpsons because I think that's the only thing that kept me interested in the game for as long as I was. It was very cool seeing the different Springfeld locations and hearing the different witty remarks but somthing in the game is lacking.
I've never been drawn to the whole crazy taxi drive and smash genre so perhaps I'm being a bit biased. I'm pretty sure I wouldnt buy this game simply because it seems like it could get real old real fast.
Gameplay: The controls are very easy to use but I didnt really get a good challenge out of the game overall. Like I said, I'm not really used to games like these so I dont really have much to compare it to.
Graphics: If it were up to me I would have gone for a more cartoony cell shading effect for this game so it felt more like you were playing the animated series. I will admit that all of the characters looked cool enough so as a fan of the show I was able to get over the sub par graphics.
Sound: The voices were great but...sigh a bit on the repetitive side. The music was all but forgetable, simpsons-esque background noise.
Suggestions: Scratch the roadrage idea (there are enough better games out there) and try revamping the old Simpsons superhero arcade game from back in the day. That game ruled and would make an excellent xbox title.

Overall: It's crazy taxi, only it's the Simpson's twist to the game, which makes the it enjoyable if you are a Simpson's fan.
Gameplay: Crazy taxi by itself, while an interesting game, gets very old, very fast as there are only so many lines for the characters to say, and places to go.... but add in the Simpson's twist to the game, and this game is fun.
There are several modes to play the game in, one of my favorites being free-form, where you can just roam around without the time limits, and see all the known Springfield sites.
Also, the number of drivers that you can play as really adds extra replayability to the game.
The controls are also very tight/good, which really is essential in any vehicle based game.
Graphics: The cell shading is actual done very well, and I really like the how it brings the world of Springfield to life. Well done.
Sound: I was actually surprised at the number of character lines that they put into this game. While it's not endless in quantity, they added more than a simple staple amount, and added a few extras, such as homer and bart will have a unique conversation that others won't have when driving them. There are more than just that one, but that's an example of what I mean.

Gameplay: exactly the same as crazy taxi, pic up customer, deliver them to the designated place within the time limit to get money, not new, but it works.
Graphics: not a patch on what the xbox is capable of, a lazy port over to xbox, but having said that, the graphics aren't good on any format, could have been much better.
Sound: the voice acting is top notch, the quotes are hilarious at first and you will find some familiar from the tv show, but they repeat themselves, so the novelty wears off after a while.

Overall: I never laugh like that before because the producer make a sentence for a character that say : Worse game ever or worse producer ever and it's true. So before they release it, they were able to say what we all gonna think about their game and about their own person. This game is a copy of crazi taxi with nothing else than the Simpson for the character. Story ? The video that explain the story told us that Mr. Burn is doing atomic bus for the community and they want to do a taxi service to avoid the bus to the civilians. Does it get a multiplayer ? Of course, but he is not completed because the goal is to transport someone to an another place but the deal its they don't put more than one character to transport so it's not the same as the single player and its should be like that ! What he changing my mind about the game it's they put plenty of things to unlock ( character and race )
Gameplay: Pick up a passenger, and follow the arrow at the top of the screen. Drive over, around or through everything in your way, and drop them off at the right location, with a bonus for speed. You'll get a few more seconds on your clock every time you drop a passenger off, with the ultimate goal to rack up the highest score before your time runs out. Againt, you are driving a car in the oldest driving system, so it's doesn't make the game so original but old.
Graphics: Bad is the only word that game through my brain. You got the same visual on Gamecube and Playstation 2. Just check the video when you are starting the game, doesn't the simpson look like the same as the tv program, oh hell no !
Sound: The music in Road Rage... who cares about the music? Its doesnt show anything new to us, same for the voices that are done by the original actors.

Overall: Ahhhh... The pleasure to be able to roam freely in my favorite show's street. The graphics are true to the TV show and i love the voices. I bought this game and am almost at a million dollars. Can't wait to see the ending. This time, Mr. Burns won't get away with it.
Gameplay: The game is simple but effective. A lot like Crazy Taxi. The 6 area you can play are pretty big. A lot bigger than Crazy Taxi (Can't wait to see Crazy taxi for XBOX though). FUN FUN FUN. I like the way you can pick up this game for 20 minutes or for 2 hours.

I like the fact that you win a new vehicule every now and then. It gives you the drive to continue the game until you reach a million dollars. For that, you have to play at least 20 hours.
Graphics: Don't have a cow man!! The graphics are really good. Like the cartoon. It is fun to drive to the places i have seen in the show. The road adds are particularly funny. Take the Sunday drive option and check out the details.

By the way, i was able to compare this game for the X-box, the PS2 and the Gamecube. The Xbox version is slightly better but could have been a lot better.

Overall: When I bought the game I thought it was going to be very fun and take awhile to beat, but it turned out it was very easy and got boring after awhile. The controls were fairly easy to learn and it was exactly like Crazy Taxi. I beat the game in under a month and wanted to get rid of it because mutiplayer will only last for a little bit. I recommend renting this gamebecause it is fairly easy to beat and you will probably want to take it back.
Gameplay: The gameplay on this game is average. There are several modes to choose from like Sunday Drive, which is free ride, Mission mode, where you have to earn like 1000000$ to buy back all the buses, and another mode where you have to complete objectives within a certain amount of time. There was a variety of different vehicles and people in the game and that was good. I liked how many places there were in the 5 different places but most of the people kept wanting to go to the same place andit got repetitive.
Graphics: The graphics on the game are not that impressive. The environments were very vast but a lot of things in the game looked pretty bad. The places on the side of the streets werte all fuzzy and the car you are driving in looks bad. The people on the streets looked bad. T
Sound: The characters voices on this game are great. They sound just like the real thing and it makes the game very fun. There are so many characters voices that say funny things. The music in the game is average but you don't really recognize it. Thing was where the game was at its best.
Suggestions: Make a better mutiplayer, make the missions harder, and improve the graphics!

Overall: if your reading this you have come to far, run away!! your interest in the game is already more than its worth. This game is the absolute biggest piece of cr*p i have ever had the ill fortune of playing. Sure when i first turned it on i said "this may be alright" but how foolish i was. This game takes deja' vu to the next level. Its sick to think microsoft let this game be realeased on their system. If i was 5 years old again i would like it, for about a day or so. They made the freaking levels sooooo long that you have to play the same thing over and over and over and over again. please stay away
Gameplay: the best part of the game is the car. they are alright, kinda fun. thats all that is appealing. the catch phrases get tiresom after u hear them for the 500,000,000,000 time.
Graphics: crappy crappy crappy, background is yes....crappy. looks like my atari 2600 could have fueled the polygons in this one.
Sound: horrible, anyone who enjoys the same one liners over and over again, is a pretty sad being. it lacks EVERYTHING
Suggestions: yes just one. with all the money you made creating a release game for the xbox by ripping off millions of faithful buyers, please please choke on it and die.

Overall: Fun Game!! The multiplayer is cool. The game has challenges and stuff that keeps you playing it longer and makes it moreinteresting.
Gameplay: Fun to play. Fun to hear the voices and look at the sites. Well done game. All the chracters are the original voices. The long loading times and saving the game takes up too much time and takes away the fun of the game.
Graphics: Visual appeal is good for the type of game that it is supposed to be. Aimators designed it, nice!!!!!
Sound: The sound is the game, but the sayings become too repetitive which takes away from the game..........

Overall: Overall, it was a ok game exspecially
on this platform..beats the hell out of the other systems it's on. The gameplay was fun racing against someone in taxi two player, but if one person has experience and the other doesn't. It's imppossible to play and loses fun fast. I think there should of been more than one customer to pick up or a mode to how many customers at one time instead of fighting over the same one.
Gameplay: I wanted to play the game. One player was fun, but 2 player was even better. Though it lacks that you can't play the game 2 player co-op.
Graphics: Great graphics for the game. It could of been done a little more less repetive graphics as I can see in the enivorment they had.
Sound: The Sound was good at first but GOT OLD QUICK with the same voice responses to when people got in. I was dissappointed by how many things a customer would say or even repeat the 2nd round. Partly why I think it gets old one player. It gets average rating for this.
Suggestions: I think there should of been more than one customer to pick up or a mode to how many customers at one time instead of fighting over the same one and More Character voices or have a setting to turn it off.

Overall: This could easily have been titled Crazy Taxi: Simpson's Style. That's not to tear it down by any means. The whole town of Springfield is represented, broken down into various zones. The premise is that Mr. Burns has taken over the public transportation system, making it expensive and unsafe. Homer and pals have decided to run their own taxi service. Your object is to deliver as many passengers to their destination in the alloted time. There's also multiplayer, where it's a race to get a certain amount of money collected, and it's a fight to get the fares.

Gameplay: I loved the idea that it only took about 5 minutes to figure out how to play the game, unlike some where it takes a week before you even know what you're doing. We found that multiplayer was extremely fun, especially for people that aren't avid gamers.
Graphics: The graphics were... cartoony. Oh, wait, the Simpsons ARE cartoons! Even so, it was pretty obvious that this was a port of a PS2 game. The polygon count isn't extremely high. It was neat to be able to see different parts of Springfield, though, which at least for us was a major part of the game. I could have been better, though.
Sound: All the voice-overs were done by the original actors, which was a MAJOR plus, since "The Simpsons" plays so heavily on sound bites. However, while funny, they started to get a bit mundane and repetitive. There wasn't much in the way of ambient sound, but nothing detrimental.
Suggestions: Either make an Xbox-exclusive or Xbox-prioritized Simpsons game that capitalizes on its strengths. This was still by far the best Simpsons console game out there. Thanks!

Overall: This game is great for all people of all ages but even better for hardcore Simpson fans like myself. You will enjoy the voice acting and sayings but will soon have to look towards actual gameplay for replay value, there is some but not too much. You will get to drive as your favorite characters in a crazy taxi style or you can complete some missions (most of them are variations of "knock of 20 _____"). If you didn't like crazy taxi then you probably won't find much more joy in this game if any.
Gameplay: The gampeplay is very fun for the first month. You will love getting to explore the large levels and testing out all the different characters. You will like it even more if you know and love the simpsons. The solo mode is pretty fun, it's just crazy taxi except in springfield and with simpson characters using funny quotes. There is a sort of mission mode where you go around completing mission to earn new vehicles or characters which will keep you busy for a while. Overall this game is really a better rental then a buy.
Graphics: The graphics aren't all that amazing and you might call them cartoony. What would you expect though from a simpsons game, it isn't as cartoony as the simpsons show, it is actually in better 3D style. The detail in characters and vehicles and environments can be appreciated but besides that there isn't much innovation or much to impress you visually in this game.
Sound: The quotes and voice acting will entertain you for a very long time. The quotes of most of the numerous characters are very funny and good for the situation. They will keep you happy and laughing for a long time but the down side is once they start to get repetetive you will stop liking to play the game. Other then the voice acting there isn't much special or to be talked about in regards to sound in this game.
Suggestions: A simpsons FPS =P

Overall: Well, it IS the Simpsons. Unfortunately, that is absolutely the only thing this game has to offer. But they did include tons of visual and audio jokes from the show. Everything else: sub par.
Gameplay: Don't let people tell you this plays like Crazy Taxi. This plays more like a pale imitation of Runabout, which was a pale imitation Crazy Taxi. Playing this makes me realise just how refined Crazy Taxi was. The physics are terrible, there is absolutely no drifting and the car stops on a dime which leaves no challenge at all, only two of the five maps seem to have been given any thought, and don't get me started on all of the instances that show off a general lack of polish. Your car constantly snags on walls for no reason, sometimes it flips over and there's nothing you can do but wait the timer out, and the bigger, etc...

Also, the various modes are pretty pointless. The mission mode is basically the same thing over and over: go knock stuff down. Only one actually required you to reach a point in a specific amount of time and I beat it on my first try.

THe unlocking system is just stupid. Forcing people to earn $100,000 and up just makes it tedious. Crazy Taxi had only one extra item, which I didn't even know about until a cheat was made available to unlock it, and somehow I didn't get bored with that game and I played it for months. I was bored of this thing after a weekend.
Graphics: Yuck.

First question: Why no cell shading?

Second question: What are those things on Marge and Lisa's eyes?

Sound: Remarkabley well done. How could they go wrong with all those voice actors willing to work on the video game? A lot of what is said is funny, but as always in video games, it repeats, repeats, and repeats. So pretty much the best thing about this game becomes tedious.

Also, the music is forgettable.
Suggestions: Uggh. Please quit raping this franchise. I love the show too much to bear another disgusting display. But if you must make a sequel, which I doubt as I can remember no specific Simpsons game ever getting a sequel, pay more attention to what you are Ripping off. Better yet, just let Hitmaker develop it for you.

Overall: This game is a waste of money. I'm glad I didn't buy it. Its and unoriginal game that in gameplay is an exact clone of Crazy Taxi. And CT was a bad game too. SRR gets old after the first misson. The only thing I enjoyed was the humor of the Simpson characters. I have to admit- they were really funny. The graphics were okay; nothing to write home about. If your thinking about buying this game...RENT IT FIRST!
Gameplay: The gameplay is what pulls this game down. If the developers would have been orgiginal and creative this game might have been good. Just remember- CRAZY TAXI RIPOFF!!!
Graphics: The games graphics are okay. Nothing special here. They are pretty much the same as the PS@ version.
Sound: The sound is the only highlight to this wonderful piece of crap. They have the real character voices with funny sayings which make this game funny.
Suggestions: Gameplay- a concept that Simpsons Road Rage is lacking.

Overall: To really appreciate this game, you definetly need to be a Simpsons fan, or atleast have some knowledge of the Simpsons at all. The real heart of the game doesnt lie in the very familiar Crazy Taxi game format, or the sometimes cheesy graphics, it lies in the interactions you have between you adn the 30+ characters featured in this game. While you can only play as about 15 characters, almost the entire Simpsons cast is waiting for you to pick them up and bus them to where ever they want to go. Some characters share some "special" interactions with only a select few Simpsons characters. Such as the Simpson family interacting with other members of the family, or Homer and Moe, or Chief Wiggem and Snake. This is where the true game lies
Gameplay: While to most people the gameplay just about ends aftering the elusive $1,000,000 and completing the mission's to obtain "Homers Car". Seasoned Simpsons fan's well have hours of fun simply roaming around and hearing all the different interactions between characters. Or you could spend your time playing mutli-player with a friend in a one-on-one race to see who can earn the selece amount of $ first.
Graphics: While the graphics on the vehicles and the characters themselves are very appealing visually, the rest of the town and enviroment or nothing short of blah.
Sound: Aside from the short conversations between characters, the honking of horns and the screaming pedestrians as you plow them over. There isnt much sound in the game. The soundtrack provided while fun for the first few hours, soon becomes very, very, very annyoing. The lack of playing your own soundtrack hurt this score.
Suggestions: The only real sujestion I would have for the developers would be to add the XBoxs ability to play your own music.
