Overall: Well done overall. better artificail intelligence and the graphics are also better than the previous incarnation
Gameplay: the gameplay is very good. there are a buttons for every move. there are also many moves one can do. there are also many directions one can pass and socring is also easier and intuitive
Graphics: the graphics is alright, considering the xbox, this is nothing revolutionary at all, but none the less, it is very good and appealing
Sound: the sound too is very good, the crowd, the different number of langauges people speak when you are playing in around the world is great
Suggestions: Yeah EA lets have more special moves such as bicycle kicks and all. and of course live play in the 2005 version

Overall: Great soccer game. The best ever. Teams, stadiums, sound, crowd comments real, really exciting. Best FIFA.
Gameplay: Great gameplay, lot of control over the team. Maybe some more control for the goalkeeper would be appreciated.
Graphics: Awesome graphics. Stadiums, players,, all is great. I can?t think of suggetions about the visuals..
Sound: Like being in the stadium. I specially like some of the comments that come from the crowd, real real.
Suggestions: Some more control over the goalkeeper. And PLEASE XBOX LIVE gameplay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall: The best soccer game on XBOX.However a bit dissapointed on the improvements from 2003 .I was honestly expecting a lot better.
Gameplay: The game play is actually pretty good. However i feel let down by the hype that was created about controling more than one player. So hard to do.But in generall Fifa 2004 is an improvement on 2003.TYou also have prestige points which are really useless and anoying in career mode. The players get tired easy,as if they havnt played before.
Graphics: Graphics are excellent. However i thought that a lot of the faces looked a lot beter on 2003.A lot more detailed grounds, but again no room for customizing teams and players, numbers and maybe even the captancy
Sound: At times very good. However the comentating has gone a few steps backward. You can play in a cup game and the guy tells you that it is important to win so you dont get relegated??I think i might turn it on another language so i dont have to understand. You can also score goals and think that they where offside,as there is no great hype or celebrations.
Suggestions: Expected a lot better. The improvements are not great.

Overall: Great sports game, not just for the soccer addict. Especially multiplayer mode is great fun. We (4 guys) have played this game for hours now, and whether you play 2-on-2 or 4 against the PC, it's always a great title.
Gameplay: Good and intuitive controls make it easy to direct your players around the field. On free kicks far from the goal, you have no idea where you're kicking to. Also, on throw ins it doesn't matter where you throw to, there's always one of your guys taking the ball. The handout of yello cards is also sometimes more lack than logic, but it doesn't matter that much. But overall, it's very fluid and smooth to play.
Graphics: You can choose between different camera angles to look at the field, and the players look very realistic and also have good personalized behaviors. For example Roberto Carlos taking a couple of little steps before a free kick. And David Beckham's trademark free kicks with his white shoes.
Sound: The color commentary is fun in the beginning, but gets on your nerves with time. But then you could switch to a different language. Sometimes, the commentator says that "he doesn't believe that the ump didn't whistle and lets play continue" although the game isactually stopped (German version). Also, the crowd is into the game and very well done. You can also hear the coaches giving advices like "Pass!" and "Let's go!" in their respective languages. Players cursing and yelling is the last thing missing.
Suggestions: I don't understand why Ronaldo is on the Real Madrid team, but not on the Brazil National team. I could live with it if I could correct that manually, but it's just not possible. That's a major drawback for the real addict. Also, some practice modes like shootouts, free kicks or corner kicks. And of course, XBox Live!

Overall: This is the best game for the best sport, and since we're not getting Winning Eleven, it will probably remain that way. I've played through a bunch of tourneys and I'm playing through a season and have yet to be dissapointed.
Gameplay: Easy interface, and easy controls make the gameplay generaly easy to pickup. One complaint I do have is the lack of a create a player mode, but the ability to swap players overshadows this loss. Also, I do wish there would have been a ball swerve button on corner kicks and running shots. But otherwise, the shooting and passing are dead on especially with the option of direct passes or the ability to send a player on a run and use a through pass.
Graphics: What an improvement from 2002 World Cup. This game LOOKS 100% different. The players actually look like the players do in real life, and the celebrations and reactions to fouls are very realistic.
Sound: The commentary can be somewhat repetetive and somewhat annoying but the crowds sound great, I do wish that we could hea players yelling at times like during free kicks, if we could hear the goalkeeper barking out orders, that would rock my world.
Suggestions: Add more sound effects, and create-a-player. AND keep landon as your cover man.

Overall: This is a great soccer game and a great game in general. They have done a great job with incorporating actual soccer techniques and the realism of the game. The only down side is that the higher levels of difficulty are at times unfair.
Gameplay: The gameplay is really fun. You get almost total control of your players. Total control, unless the computer decides it would be more advantageous for you not to have control. Playing on the professional level I went to intercept a pass that I clearly got to first, but oh wait, the offensive guy gets there first because the computer wouldn't let me take control of the ball. That's complete crap. There is a big difference in the difficulty levels. Giving the computer an almost unfair advantage. I played a season as Manchester United on Semi-Pro level to get warmed up to all the controls. I mastered them pretty quickly and kept playing and would destroy teams. So I bumped it up a notch to professional level. At this point I can barely score a goal and horrible teams like West Ham are scoring goals like they're Brazil. The computer defense is much harder and the AI is extremely better. Unfortunately, it doesn't kick in for your players. They run around like idiots most of the time and never seem to do the same things as the other team. I don't care if it's hard, just make it fair.
Graphics: Great graphics. The players really look like the real thing. Have noticed that some of the lesser players look alike though. If you're playing with, say, Manchester United everyone is accurate. But, I've noticed that some of the lesser players weren't given as much accuracy. Great stadiums and field protrayals.
Sound: Great sound. The chants and singing of the crowds really make it fun. You hear the custom cheers for many of the clubs. You can also hear the players speaking in their own languages (ie Spanish, French, English).
Suggestions: Just make the game fair. I understand that the difficulties are there to add challenges, but if the computer team can do certain things, your non-controlled players should be able to do the same. Its just not fun if you're getting destroyed because you're players are idiots and the other team plays like the greatest team on earth.

Overall: With football (soccer for the americans) being the most poular sport in the wolrd , this game had a lot to live up to . It is excellent.
Gameplay: Plays just like real football . The ball does'nt just stick to you foot , it actually needs to be controlled . Excellent.
Graphics: The overall graphcis are fine . The best thing about the graphics has to be the player models . Players like David Beckham and Michael Reizeger look EXACTLY like their real life counterparts.
Sound: Great commentary from John Motson and Ally McCoist . Crowd sounds great too. Just like the real thing .
Suggestions: none

Overall: Wonderful game. This latest release of the FIFA line of games is wonderfully immersive. At first I was disappointed that there was no 'training', but after about 3 minutes into the first game, I had a good handle on the controls, and by the end of the game, I was able to react quickly with the right moves. Now having said that, this game is not easy to score, or dominate the other team. The match-ups are great and the players abilities are very true-to-life. A Great Title!
Gameplay: The most appealing part of FIFA 2003 is the ability to really work the ball between players. One of my biggest complaints with previous titles, is the inability of the non-active players to move to the open spaces and make runs down field. EA has done a wonderful job of adding intelligence to the rest of the team.
Graphics: The 'broadcast' camera angle (which is the default) allows you to view the field and players in a meaningful way, so you know where and when to make passes and shots. The graphics are stunning, and the individual players look.. well.. individual. When my wife walked into the room in the middle of the game, she didnt realize I was playing, until a closeup was shown of one of the players.
Sound: Great commentary, good game sounds, and the crowd is done very well. It all adds to my above point of the immersive quality of the game.
Suggestions: I would like to see a training mode, or some way to practice set plays. Corner kicks, free kicks, etc...

Overall: The most appealing soccer game
since World cup 2002, great
looking lots of teams and a great
overall atmosphere.
Gameplay: Great gameplay that actually gives
you challenge not like some other
soccer games, not too easy to kick
goals like most soccer games
and lots of teams and lots of real
great looking players.
Graphics: Great looking, you can tell who the
players are the first time you see
them and the stadiums and crowd
look great.
Sound: Good sound-effects, some good
songs too. Would be good if while
you were playing you could have a
custom soundtrack going in the
background.
Suggestions: Custom soundtrack, penalty
shoot-outs, create-a-player/team
and X-Box live would be great.

Overall: This game is truly what soccer is all about, its so addicting, u have to actually pass to score, it aint no game u just play wit one man and score all day, and visuals , and sound are really good, Where in the hell is xbox live support?
Gameplay:
Best game play u have to pass to get down the feild, and when ur running fast u dont have that much control over the ball just like in real soccer. Shooting free kicks is awesome and easy to score after u get use to it.
Graphics: Visuals are awesome, the stadiums look perfect and the players look awesome, some could use some better texture and looks, but its not a let down, it could be done better tho
Sound:

if ur a real soccer fan turn off the commentary and listen to the !&%$@#* crowd u will theink ur at the world cup watching brazil beat germany, it awesome. The commentary reminds me of fifa world cup.
Suggestions:
If u have friends u will be playing this forever, Xbox live support should have been added but it wasnt and it was a real let down, THe next fifa versions need an option where u can have a penalty kick matchs, create players and teams, and xbox live and then it will be an Awesome package

Overall: by far the best soccer title on any console. first time that it feels real! timing is absolutely vital in this game. goal keepers are finally much improved and scoring a goal isn't that easy anymore. GOOD STUFF!
Gameplay: only with good timing and no stupid button bashing you will be able to win! WELL DONE!
freekicks are great and DAVID BECKHAM RULES!!
Graphics: very nice animations and great ball physics. crowd and surroundings could have been a bit better though.
Sound: good comments in many languages available. crowd goes wild and their singing sounds great. menu music als very good!

Overall: Best Soccer game ever. Everything a soccer fan has ever dreamed for in a soccer game is in FIFA 2003. Fuck that EA Sucks !&%$@#* . This is an awesome title definately a good buy... (at least rent it)
Gameplay: The gameply is awesome! Its so realistic. If you run too fast with the ball you will have less control and therefore will be easiar for the defenders to steal. The rumble effect is also put to good use, when you hit the bar your controller will shake, when you get tackled really hard you'll feel it, and when your taking a penalty kick to win the game you'll feel your controller pumping as if it was a heart! Best gameplay in a sports game ever!
Graphics: The graphics have improved quite a bit compared to WC 2002 and FIFA 2002, but it still looks like an average XBox game. I noticed that the skin tones on some of the players were off a little but the faces have made a very nice improvement! Overall: Good work!
Sound: The sound is amazing! The fans are really nice and loud and almost evry team has unique chants (and there are more than 400 teams in the game!!!) The commentators are good and they have comments on big players (Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Raul and more) If you have surround sound, you'll feel like your in the stadium!!! Its awesome!
Suggestions: I would suggest that the Creation Centre is included with FIFA 2004 (or maybe we could get OXM to put it on a demo disk...hint hint, wink wink) Next year you should spend a little more time on the rosters (Brighi is the best player in the game...WTF!!! Also Simao on Benfica is only 81?!?! he should be 90!!!) Also it should be XBL Compatible!

Overall: overall its a great game, there are many tournaments that keep you playing, and u unlock diffrent things, like balls, players, stadiums etc. The game gets frustrating if your a newb, but once u master the easier levels pro and world class become really fun
Gameplay: the ball physics are really amazing, the ball hits the post and your shocked as your controller rumbles and how it bounces back towards you. The game will leave u comeing for more
Graphics: the graphics are really good in this game, good players have there diffrent color cleats and u can spot them from a long camera angle. Players look like there real life counterparts.
Sound: commentary in this game is a great improvement, i played w/ ac milan and john motson was saying that rivaldo was doing really great, and that he has proven to evert1 that he is worth playing on the national team. Again playing w/ real madrid, John Motson said ronaldo is a new man coming back from his injury he is better then ever. Each specific player has his 3 or 4 commentary, which is really good
Suggestions: get this game if your a big soccer fan :)
