This game brings back a flood of memories. Memories of endless games of Army as kids with my brother and our friends in the woods near our home. Armed with sticks fashioned to resemble rifles, and a good amount of imagination, we would group ourselves into teams and try to sneak up on our opponents in order for the decisive kill."

Description

Ghost Recon has established itself as a mega-selling franchise, and we’ve retained the core elements that made the first game such a success," said Laurent Detoc, President of Ubisoft, Inc. "But for Ghost Recon 2, we wanted to dial up the intensity and adrenaline to create an experience of total war. We’ve retooled and improved every aspect of the game, and have integrated a host of incredible new features - and the result is amazing.

Overall: Another great Tom Clancy war game. This game puts the "Ghost" in North Korea in the year 2011. A war has broken out and your in the middle of it.
Gameplay: You are the captain of a three soldier elite team called the "Ghost". You can tell your teammates to do many things, which is a great addition on the last title. Tons of weapons, I love the addition of laser-guided air strikes. Great war game, one of the best.
Graphics: Wow, this game looks great, big improvement on GR:IT. The soldiers look amazing. I love the new over-the-shoulder view, it really makes you feel part of the action, however if you like the first person view, it is still there.
Sound: Everything from the soldiers voices to the weapons is spot on. I don't think it could be any better. One of the best sounding games ever, it gives you a real sense of being in a war.
Suggestions: Wow, keep up the good work.

Overall: Just what I had hoped for after loving the inital Ghost Recon release. The gameplay, graphics and sound are all top notch.
Gameplay: The gameplay is stellar! The AI seem to be smarter than the previous version and the game is fairly demanding to beat playing single player on the hardest level. The maps are of a nice size and fun to navigate. The various weapons are enjoyable to use with both playing on and off xbox live being equally fun for different reasons. An excellent game!
Graphics: The graphics as far as I'm concerned are amazing. Both the characters and buildings, vegetation and scenery being excellent. I really couldn't be happier with the visual aspect of this game.
Sound: I have no problem with the sound, not really sure how they could make the sound better. The guns and enviroment sound good to me and the music adds a good ambience to some nerve racking moments.

Overall: the original ghost recon game established a large fan base for the series, so it was inevitable that we would see a sequel... however, i didnt actually like the first game... but having been impressed by some early screen-shots of its sequel, i felt it deserved a play-test... well, that play-test is completed, and how did it go?? well... prety !&%$@#* good!! i was amazed at the strides forward that the series has taken, most noticably in graphics, but also in gameplay and variation... ghost recon2 has been the first game of 2005 to really impress me, and the developers must be acknowleged for their achievements in making such a great game... ghost recon2 is a worthy addition to the elite titles on xbox.
Gameplay: gameplay is as realistic as you can get in a game, run& gun is not a tactic to be put to use here, you have to be strategic, issue commands, and have your wits about you...ghost recon2s campaign is linear, but it hides it well with vast open environments and an intelligent storyline. multiplayer maps are beutifully designed and look amazing and you never need to worry too much as your allies offer good support both in single and multiplayer... but one slight complaint is that the ai of friendy, and more so enemies can often seem a bit dumb... however this is a minor complaint, and it cant take away from the fact that ghost recon2 plays like a dream, both on, and offline. i very much recommend giving it a play.
Graphics: without a doubt, ghost recon2 is one of the best looking games on xbox... attention yo detail is admirable to say the least... and real time swaying trees give a sense of unrivaled realism... the bump mapping capabilities of the xbox are tested, as is its shader capabilities, creating lovely water and realistic lighting... the overall graphical quality of the game is remarkable, however... all this eye-candy comes at a price, as the frame rate can often drop... however it always maintains a playable rate, and cant take away from what is a stunning looking game.
Sound: the theme tune to ghost recon2 is quite catchy, and i found myself humming it after hearing it a few times! but how does the overall quality stand? well, as this game tries to create realism, that is what the audio has been crafted around... footsteps, gun shots, and all audio effects are recreated beautifully... it is safe to say that ghost recon2 sounds real, plays real, and is real great fun!
Suggestions: 3rd person perspective went well, mayne better ai...

Overall: Future Korean battlefield, kick butt takes names. Online, much of the same, just dont have to worry about AI, just real time snipers.
Gameplay: I love the game, but have some problems with it. For one, why cant I use the rest of my team. I really hate the idea of only having Mitchell to die with. He goes, no one can call Medic, but I can when someone else goes down, makes no sense. I liked being able to customize the levels from the first game. Online spawn killing, still a problem, and why does it take so long to find a game that is ACTUALLY IN THE LOBBY! I have spent more time looking for games then finding, I guess i should host and not complain. On some levels the repetative noise is annoying at times. Also would like to go into buildings like last game.

Ok, ok. now the good stuff which far outweights the bad. I love this game and will be playing for a long time. The graphics are a sight for sore eyes. Beautiful job with the levels and feel for each level. I would perfer 480P, but the game looks great. Over the shoulder takes a bit to get use to, but a very good idea and its kinda cool to see your man in action. Nice job with the M29, love that gun! The single player is good, but where this game rocks is online. Nothing is better than adding the human element.
Graphics: Excellent! Great job over the last games. Great use of the night vision on levels, cant use it all the time. Some of the rain levels are out of this world, dont move too fast, just might catch a bullet in the rear.
Sound: I love to play it loud on 5.1, what can you say when the bullets are flying and you hear the feet running and snipe the guy who couldnt hear the same. background sounds are good, but at times are stuck in a cycle. overall, great sounds!
Suggestions: great job on this one. I personally would have liked to see some of the first two games in this one, using the other members of your team. I guess when your making games something has to be left on the chopping room floor. i dont know what you can do about the spawn killing, but all in all, this games beats the previous two and with hope GR will only get better. Add some download content in a couple month to keep us happy, maps, new guns, new uniforms. This game will be a staple in my online play. One last complaint, how the heck can you have a game with no blood? Im not asking for body parts to be falling all over the place, but a little sign you hurt someone would be nice. Come on, your core players are late teens to adults, if your gonna rate it, put it in.

Overall: This games is amazing! It CAN hold its own gainst halo 2. If you play it you wont let want to let go.
Gameplay: These missions really suck you in. Its addicting as they come. its very smooth and really realistic. If your one of those people who does arcade and cant hande getting killed with one or two bullets id say this isnt for you. This games has everything you would want in a shooter game. firepower, big explosions, lots and lots of gun fire, more enemys and much more cover to sneak around. Gives you the feel of some serious power. CAll in air strikes on anything you want in lone wolf mode! JUST PLAY THE GAME!
Graphics: Graphics oh yeah! Almost like they used some splinter cell graphics eneinge a huge improvement over the old ghost recons. The night vision mode is unreal compared to any other night vision modes in any other game. The over the shoulder cam is great. Some people are stuck on the 1st person shooter view, and i was the same until this. The view helps keep you tucked behind corners without sticking out to much. Very sweet smooth graphics. No glitches so far that i noticed. Good draw rate as well makes the sniper rifle more effective then it was in the prior games. Excellent!
Sound: The sound is great. If you have suround its even better. The sound just enhances the battlefield feeling of this game 10 fold. They did not get scimpy with the sound. The bullets wizzing and morters going of really makes for a hell of a gaming experience.
Suggestions: Keep up this good work, these clancy's games rae probably my favorite. On the next one though give the map mode way points for individual squad members in hopes to make it so you can get some better crossfires yet. Also allow you to cover more angles at one time.
