Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2
Overall: Just what I had hoped for after loving the inital Ghost Recon release. The gameplay, graphics and sound are all top notch.
Gameplay: The gameplay is stellar! The AI seem to be smarter than the previous version and the game is fairly demanding to beat playing single player on the hardest level. The maps are of a nice size and fun to navigate. The various weapons are enjoyable to use with both playing on and off xbox live being equally fun for different reasons. An excellent game!
Graphics: The graphics as far as I'm concerned are amazing. Both the characters and buildings, vegetation and scenery being excellent. I really couldn't be happier with the visual aspect of this game.
Audio: I have no problem with the sound, not really sure how they could make the sound better. The guns and enviroment sound good to me and the music adds a good ambience to some nerve racking moments.
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Links 2004
Overall: Fantastic golf game! Hours and hours of enjoyment with my friends over many beverages. Super courses, graphics, physics and FUN!
Gameplay: What I love about this game is it's not easy. I've played for hours with friends and haven't seen a hole in one yet. When the settings are windy with hard pin locations it's tough to break par.
The driving and putting are right on, excellent game physics and controls. I really can't say enough about this game, my favorite right now when playing with friends while having many brewskies . . . the hours zoom on by with many curses and laughs.
Graphics: The graphics in general are superb. Congrats to Microsoft on the great job they did in bringing this PC game to the 'box.
The courses themselves give you a real feeling that you've been there. The weather conditions are really nice, just an overall great looking game.
Audio: The sound is fine for me, it's a golf game after all. The crowd is fine, the anouncers actually surprise me sometimes when they say things pertaining to what happened earlier in the game. They'll start razzing you if you do poorly, pretty funny actually.
Suggestions: Congrat's on a great product!
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 MotoGP 2
Overall: What a great racing game. Everything about this racer is top notch, with great gameplay/graphics. I was forced to buy this cause of no F1 game for the xbox, and this was the closest racing experience to that of F1 . . . i.e. superb tracks and physics.
Gameplay: Fantastic physics for this racer, it sure gets the adrenaline pumping. The tracks are awesome, very similar to the F1 tracks in feel.
Graphics: Very vivid graphics, beautiful scenery, bike and track detail. A definite upgrade versus the first edition, and that was pretty d*mn good in it's own right graphically.
Audio: There's really not much they can do with a bike racing sim sound wise. The bikes sound fine to me, they could be a bit throatier I guess but what do I know, I've never been to a "grand prix type" bike race before.
Suggestions: Nothin' other than regular graphic tweaks, you guys got a great game here!
Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 NHL 2003
Overall: Well I guess I'm in the minority on this one. I absolutely loved this game. I like everything about it, the gameplay/graphics/easy to navigate etc.
Gameplay: Whether you're playing International or NHL style, the gameplay is the best I've seen/played in all my video hockey years. I literally can play for hours. It must be played on the difficult level to take full advantage of the hockey playing. EA put the sliders almost perfectly, so the game is low scoring and loads of fun to win (many close games).
Graphics: The graphics are stunning. I wish I had a HDTV cause just with the s-video cable the graphics are amazing. The players skate/check/shoot very accurately, the goalies react well and look natural. Overall one great lookin' Hockey game.
Audio: The crowd sounds great, the on ice sounds are accurate. When announcers first came on the scene yrs ago in video hockey I loved it, but now I just turn them off and listen to the hockey in game sounds thru surround (that or my own music). I also turn the music off that's in the gaming system. Overall a very good job on sound.
Suggestions: You guys make a super/very realistic hockey game that's by far the best in every category. But, if you can't rescind your decision on BF1942 for the 'box, I'll be hard pressed to buy another EA product.
