Overall: Black Arrow, the first some-what dissapointment for me to come from the Tom Clancy stable. No graphical improvement, one new weapon (they also took one out), and some sub-par maps are the story for this expansion to Rainbow Six 3.
Gameplay: I was dissapointed that they only added one new weapon.. which isn't very useful to boot. They took out a weapon just like it. The game is pretty much exactly the same as the first one, which isn't a bad thing.. but I was hoping for some better multiplayer maps.. what's there doesn't come close to the best available on Ranibow Six 3.
Graphics: The graphics are still Tom Clancy polished. They have always had top of the line graphics in these games.. and this doesn't change here. No improvement over the original though.
Sound: Perfect sound once again. I have never had any complaint from any Tom Clancy game when it comes to their sound.
Suggestions: Don't make essentially an expansion pack.. make a whole new game.

Overall: we all know rainbow6 3 as the game that popularised xbox live, the franchise gained a huge fan-base with its 1st xbox encounter... so it was inevitable that it would gain a sequel.
well, BLACK ARROW is that sequel, and does it live up to the original??

well, to start off BLACK ARROW is more of an add-on then a sequel...
it runs the same graphics engine seen on the previous game, but now that there are games like RIDDICK, and DOOM3 showing their visual splendour on xbox, BLACK ARROWS graphics seem out of date.
alas, graphics is not the thing that won R63 so many fans... it was it's solid, and addictive multiplayer that left fans begging for more, and fans will be more than pleased to find out that solid multiplayer has returned in BLACK ARROW.
Although black arrow is a good game, it is a bit intimidating for the inexperienced player, or as you say 'n00b' but i think it is clear that this sequel is aimed at current fans of the series... rather then to earn new ones.
although it is there, the single player game seems slightly shallow and uninspiring... but R6 is not about single player, it is about a clean, refined, fun and in-depth multiplayer experience.
and you will be glad to know that is what you get.
Gameplay: the game boasts extensive multiplayer modes that never seem to ware thin, single player and split screen also feature, but XBOXlive is where the fun is at!
you have to have your wits about you, and use tactics to your advantage, a large amount of skill and patience is required to excel as a top BLACK ARROW player.
and with the major fan-base that the game has, you can be sure that you will never be short of a friend to play.
Graphics: visually, BLACK ARROW is similar to R63.. but what was once an impressive graphics engine is now beginning to show its age.
environments often look very nice, and boast some nice lighting and effects, but it often looks gritty and murky, and there seems to be a general lack of detail on show.
for pixel pushers you should look elsewhere, but BLACK ARROWS gameplay is what makes it special.
Sound: environments could do with some more detail in the audio department, but guns, foot-steps and general audio effects seem detailed and refined.
overall in game sound is quite good, but no ground has been broken.
Suggestions: can i jump please?

Overall: Great game, i'm basing my review pretty much on the Live, cause that's the thing that i liked the most
Gameplay: Beautiful gameplay, pretty realistic, very fun to play, Im still playing this even thoug Halo2 is out.
Graphics: Eye candy, yeah, this game has good graphics, nothing Ninja Gaiden like, but still pretty good.
Sound: MMMMM, the sounds are nice, you are able to destinguish wich grenades were just thrown or what gun you're enemy is using just by listening to it.

Overall: Overall it's basically the same game. Spawn camping is possible in this one which is very disappointing. But, more game modes is good to see and the clan aspect with voice messaging is great.
Gameplay: Great new game modes. I don't just play survival mode like i used to. Still have some glitches to fix but they did improve a lot from the first RS3.
Graphics: Looks slightly better than the original. Nice environments and new uniforms was a nice touch. Now in some levels both teams blend in while it used to be onme team that stood out.
Sound: I think they improved the sound on this game a little bit which makes it better. But it's basically the same.

Overall: anybody reading this that doesn't have Xbox Live is one crazy person, GO GET IT NOW! my favorite game mode would probobly be Team Conquest
Gameplay: ya like a lot of other people said it's too few levels but a crap-load of missions, and guess what? you can do multiplayer co-op now!!!! the missions go up to 4 player so get 3 other friends and play the game
Graphics: the visuals are good, but destroying stuff would be fun, like shooting a tree so that ur opponents get crushed
Sound: sounds are normal, the screams of people going on fire is normal, opening a door is normal, having Ubisoft create a awesome game is normal too
Suggestions: In missions or Xbox Live could you add a download where you can pick up medpacs/ammo in some spots? and it would be cool if you could destroy the enviroment around you

Overall: This has to be the best Xbox Live game so far! It has a wide variety of Xbox Live features like clans, tournements, dedicated servers, ability to kick people out, and remove voice. The game modes are great, especially when you play on live.
Gameplay: The Gameplay is fun, and great! There are plenty of missions, but not enough levels. Also when your in game there is no health packs, or ammo packs. So if you run out of ammo in all your weapons your dead. I appreiciate the added difficulty in this, but it does get tedious if you use up all of your main weapons ammo.
Graphics: Visually this game was great! All the guns look unique, and so do the characters. The maps are all nice and unique, but you always have a sertain path you must go (you can't wander off). I would like to see some environmental impact (so you can destroy trees, and such) because there is very little of this. Other than that the visuals were flawless.
Sound: The sound was pretty good. Alot of guns make there own sound, and the explosions are very realistic. But the 1 bad thing is that your squad members say the same thing over, and over again when you issue a command, which is kind of annoying. But the screams of your enemy as you light him on fire covers this flaw.
Suggestions: Add an update for more levels, and guns. ALso it would be nice if you could pickup healthpacs/ammo.

Overall: An amazing game, the best probably on Xbox Live. I had very high expectations of this game, since I loved RB63. And it absolutely met with my expectations.
Gameplay: It was very easy to control. I had many friends who could pick up the controls instantly. Better missions than the first game, but too little levels.
Graphics: Wow... This game looks very realistic. The levels are well designed and made. It met with the high expectations of all the Tom Clancy games.
Sound: Not much to say about this. The guns and the explosions sound good. I don't know why the tangos scream like crazy, but okay...

Overall: FPS with 3 non player characters for backup. Rescue hostages, kill terrorists, defuse bombs, etc etc. Rather addictive as these things go.
Gameplay: Smooth frame rate, easy to control but the lack of being able to jump does bug me... I mean I know the game wants to try and keep you on a linear route but sometimes, the barricades will be something like a low bench, or upturned couch... does this seriously stop an Elite swat team from progressing? "Ohoh... route blocked by an upturned couch!", "Roger that... seeking alternative route"... geez.... kinda sucks don't you think?
Graphics: Everything you'd expect from a high quality FPS... very smooth frame rate...hey, what else can I say... go look at the screenshots !&%$@#* it! :-)
Sound: Hmmm... from what I can hear it sounds rather good... good explosions and gun noise. Would like to turn it up loud but usually I only get to play it when the kids are in bed and I can't wear headphones as the wife gets peeved if I'm sitting playing happily on the Box unaware that the kids are crying in their bedrooms making my wife then get out of bed and kick my butt... anyway, I digress!
Suggestions: You want more realism? Don't let my path get blocked by stupid obstacles!
