Overall: This is one my favorite First Person Shooters and definitely the best one currently available on the Xbox 360. In fact, I would go as far as stating that this is the best World War 2 game ever. The game really feels more like an experience than just another point and shoot game. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes FPS or slight interest in WWII. This game is superb as a first generation 360 game and I can't wait for what Call of Duty 3 has to offer.
Gameplay: The game is split up into three main sections where you play as a Russian, Brit, and then American. Unlike other games where you feel more like a one man army your fellow soldiers actually help and made me feel like I wasn't taking on the world by myself. You aren't in command either and listening to your commanding officer is crucial to completing the objective(s) and staying alive. The mission objectives change up from basic attacking, defending, controlling tanks, to calling in air strikes keeping the action from feeling to receptive. The controls are spot on with smooth precise aiming and a good button layout.
Graphics: This game looks great on a Standard Definition TV and just awesome on HDTV. (Man I need to get a HDTV, right now I have to go over to my brother's house to get my HD fix). The particle effects are simply amazing from the incredible looking smoke grenades and huge explosions down to the bits of dirt that pops up from your bullets hitting the ground. The areas are large and feel even bigger with no pop in or unnecessary fog. The frame rate is rock solid and never affected my gameplay.
Sound: The sound doesn't get much better than this especially on a 5.1 surround system. The guns sound great and realistic the explosions are big and loud matching their visual prowess. The voice acting is top notch from the commands barked out from your commanding officer to the Germans calling out commands.

Overall: Oh yes, it's been along time but I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for some reason I'm number 60 on the review list when I shouldbe number 4 but that's besides the point. The point is Call Of Duty 2. My first 360 purchase. It was well worth it! What an amazing achievement! The game play is fierce, the graphics are fierce, the sounds are fierce, everything was fierce! Did I say how fierce this game is?
Gameplay: Has any of you ever served in the armed forces? Neither have I but if this is war I made a great decision when I chose not to register for the army! Yikes! The bullets whiz past your trembling ears, nose, and throat, making your panties drip with pee. You cower behind what used to be a shiny new automobile as you hear those !&%$@#* Germans scream for your head. You run like a slave from his master, when you hear GRENADE!!!! Young man, young woman, you are in the middle of a war, start crying like it.
Graphics: Awe-inspiring! Jaw-dropping! Hand clapping! It is why the 360 is a beast, and will soon represent all that is right in the video game industry. The best graphics of any game I have ever played, hands down, bar none.
Sound: Do you know that bullets can make you soil your Huggies even when they don't hit you? Play this game and see for yourself. Play it in surround sound and I guarantee you someone will walk in the room and find you under your chair saying your Hail Marys. Sound. Best. Ever.
Suggestions: Do it again. The ugly truth: with the exception of a few levels that were kind of tedious, great start for the 360!

Overall: This game is the best first person shooter I have ever played. It combines all aspects of sound, graphics, and overall gameplay.
I have been a fan of COD games since the first one and COD2 blows the rest out of the water.
Gameplay: There is tons of fun and challenge packed into every level of the game. The game has A great range of difficulties. There are also many different weapons . The weapons have all of the statistics mobility, range, accuracy, and damage. The maps are great and they are all very different so that everyone is happy.
Graphics: This game has great, non-pixel like graphics. The detail is down to every last blade of grass and every wrinkle in the clothing.
Sound: The audio is the game is spectacular. They included everything as far as sound. During the game you hear bullets in the distance, grenades exploding and even footsteps and people breathing. They also did a good job of dialouge and accents.

Overall: This World War II FPS is one of the best ever, Activision and Infinity Ward did a great job to immerse you into the game to feel like you were in the war.
Gameplay: The game is pretty long and its difficulty settings keep you coming back for more. The controls are outstanding.
Graphics: Call of Duty 2 looks amazing, some of the best looking smoke I have ever seen in the game. The soldiers look very good and the weapons look just like there real-life counterparts.
Sound: The voice-overs are very good and the in-game sound is amazing, really immerses you into the game. The weapons sounds are also very realistic.

Overall: The game is a great first person shooter. I fell in love with the amout of action in the game, and many choices of weapons. On my scale of 1-10, I give this game a seven. I scored it low becuase of the lack of blood and everyone likes to do a good co-op game with a friend...
Gameplay: The amout of killing and action in the game was the best part for me. I think it is fun to do all of the differt missions and you did not have to see the war from one side there were three sides to this story.
Graphics: I think the visual is the worest part of the game it should of been more gory and more 3d.
Sound: The music was intense on certian parts of the game. And I think the music was good for the WWII affect
Suggestions: Work more on the blood and the visual then anything becuase your story line is great.

Overall: This is a great WWII game. It was my introduction to the 360, and it was a good one. The campaign mode is fun.
Gameplay: Campaign is great, with good difficulty levels. XBox live play is good. 1 on 1 battles are quite boring.
Graphics: These graphics are good, but not great. The environments could use some sharpening. Again, HDTV's are always good.
Sound: The sound is pretty good, great in surround.

Overall: Just when you thought you'd never buy another WWII game... Call of Duty 2 comes to the Xbox 360 and blows our minds. The gameplay is intense even on the easiest difficulty. The action is as real as it gets.
Gameplay: The single player really surpassed any of my expectations. I tried various difficulties when I first bought the game and realized that even on the easier ones, the game still feels intense - something most games can not begin to say. The variety of missions keep you guessing what else you'll get to do next and really puts you in a number of unique experiences of WWII. The online multiplayer
Graphics: Graphically, everyone knows the gaming World steps closer to achieving greater life-like realism everyday. For most people graphics don't make/break a game, but I have to say COD2 took a man-sized step into achieving this.
Sound: I have, as well as anyone other gamer, has played my share of war and WWII games. The voice animations kept the game interesting while playing as each allied country. After awhile you do grow tired of hearing the knicknames for grenades "POTOTO MASHER!" with the various accents, but other than that the explosions/guns/vehicles all sounded great... can't wait to hear it on surround sound.
Suggestions: For all Xbox 360 developers - Keep those XBL achievements coming... no matter how much a person says the gamerscore is just bragging rights it REALLY seemed to make me want to complete every aspect of the game. It kept me from setting the game aside even after beating the game or normal.

Overall: I don't play much computer games so I can't really say how this compares as a port from the PC version. However, the game itself as a console game is one of the best FPS I've played; Halo 2 included. There is a lot of forum chat and hype surrounding this game and so far, nothing I've read is false information. If you are one of the people who got the Xbox early, make sure this game is on your list of games to own.
Gameplay: The campaign for this game really tests your FPS skills. Unlike Halo where you are a superhero fighting aliens and almost nothing hindered your skills, here you are just a regular human being stuck in a war and you can actually feel it too. The gun recoils so you can't aim 100% accurately; you get stunned if you're too close to explosions; you actually need to take cover, crouch and crawl and depend on your team mates to survive. If Halo could incorporate some skills and tactics in its missions to create the feeling of fighting a major war, these would be the additions that I'd want the game to have. Also, this game allows you to choose your paths depending on which puzzles you solve first and/or difficulty. I played through the initial Russian missions and watched my friend played through some and they were totally different. There is definitely some replay value here...
Graphics: Visually this game has amazed everyone who has played on my DLP HDTV. The smoke effects so far have been my favorite on top of rain, snow and faces. While I wouldn't call the visual effects next gen quite yet, it has definitely impressed everyone (including myself who played the demo initially) to go out and buy this game. Sometimes it's even worth taking a break from the constant bullet firings to admire the scenery. Of course, everything in the game looks authentic and accurate as well.
Sound: Wow, what can I say... the sound effects are amazing. More so when you use the surround sound. To hear bullets being fired in every direction and to be able to tell that they are close and/or far is amazing and it just adds to the whole experience of the game. The constant voices and yelling of stuff by your teammates also make this game come to life. You will not be disappointed; period.
Suggestions: This game has one of the strongest campaigns ever, but multiplayer lacks many features. While people don't usually play in squads or actually perfect teamwork for online play, more thought could have been used to design a better multiplayer experience with more players. If online co-op would have been possible, that would have been great.

Overall: I played the demo and liked the way it does. Awesome and can't wait to save up more money to buy it after spending bunches of my dollars on XBOX 360 and Madden 2006!
Gameplay: It felt the same as COD on PC but better graphics. I love it! Play the demo in Wal-Mart or any gaming store that has XBOX 360 display.
Graphics: Graphics are soo much better I ever seen in my life! I can't believe how XBOX 360 does with the graphics. It look real in the game.
Sound: I am deaf and so glad it does have subtitles!!!! A+++++++++++++++ Thank you whoever make this!! Can't wait to own it!
Suggestions: I would suggest every games box to labled subtitles/CC(closed captions) options on it so we (hearing imparied) would buy it instead of not knowing and wasted our money on it for nothing when it doesnt have any subtitles/CC.
