Overall: in 2006 I bought the brand new PS3 on the first day it came out and I loved it untill late 2009, I wanted to buy a Xbox for Christmas. I still played my PS3 but since I sold my PS3 early 2010 I have loved my Xbox even more, even though I still have my farthers PS3 downstairs I don't play it much... As I have owned Xbox for about 2 years I can't go back to PS3!

Overall: Since i have something to do in the last 4 years, i didn't have chance to buy one. Now, gaming time is back. This console is great but only one thing apart from the greatness, the DVD Drive is a little noisy so maybe the next-gen will fix it. I love the controller since it's wireless so we can move anywhere in the moment we played a game. I bought the Pro Edition that included 60 HDD and HD AV cable, that enough to really test what Xbox360 can do.

Overall: If it could summarize the Xbos 360 in few words, I say: This is a technological marvel.
Positive elements:
1. The best catalogue of games
2. The kernel in series in the market (power in processing data)
3. Their orientation to the high definition
4. Their orientation to games in different languages
5. Their orientation to the games in net
6. Their system of achievements
7. An elegant design
Negative elements:
1. Although the chips were revolutionary, they didn't consider that their excessive heating harmed the material of the system board, for they couch it to loose and to produce the red lights.
2. The system board design and that of cooling is not innovative, what contrasts with the chips and it harms the quality of the apparatus
3. The reader of CD damages the disks.
4. Its commercialization in Latin America in front of the competitors is very low

Overall: Easily the best Video Game system out now. And well it easily tops the PS3 (which is easily topped by the Wii. That says something) I don't think i've ever enjoyed the movie CARS but I played the demo, and I loved it. That really shows the 360 can take anything that sucks, and turn into something that sucks a whole lot less. Perfect graphics, perfect controller and perfect online deliverance. What more could you want? Oh whats this? You want to be able to play DVDs, play all those awesome arcade games from the 70 and 80's? Whats this blasphemy?! You want to play them ONLINE? Well i'm sorry sir, but you must not know that you CAN do that! Welcome to heaven thy name is Xbox 360.

Overall: fairly crappy system compared with the original xbox in my point of view. Had too many bugs and overheating problems that could mess up your system and games, not to mention the fact that whenever you sent your system in you usually just got another system that did not work. And if it did mess up your games, like my CoD2, they can't replace it or even refund your money because your system overheated within only 40 minutes of gameplay.
Suggestions: Fix the bugs, the system has more than enough power to show off next gen games, but it is just riddled with bugs. Over half of the the 90 something people on my friends list who have the system have had to send it in at least once for repairs, and three or four of them including me have had three or more replacement systems because they are failing to fix them the first time. This irritates the fire out of me because when I sent in my PS2 it was fixed correctly the first time, even though it took more time than what Microsoft supposedly fixes them, because of a "disc unreadable" error. My original XBOX has worked flawlessly and still runs even with all the hours put into it. It is better to wait a few more months than to send out a defective pile like that and to fix whatever problems it has.

Overall: I am a fan of the Xbox. Because Microsoft came out of nowhere to challenge the Great PS2 and Sony. I am a sucker for the underdog. However, that does not make me a fanboy. Because if the 360 sucked, I would drop it like a hot potato. With that out of the way let me say that the 360 is the best system, in every way, that I have had the privilege of playing. It is everything I would want in a game, hell mine even speaks to me. Okay that's too much but who knows what Bill has up his sleeve!

Overall: The Xbox 360 is the best system EVER!!!! The controller is the most amazing piece of videogame hardware of I have ever felt; it takes all of the positive things from every previous controller ever constructed and carefully combines them into one glorious product. The way that Xbox Live and Xbox Live Arcade are used is absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait for Xbox Live Anywhere to be used with Windows Vista and Windows Mobile Live on my Cell phone. The way that there is such a wide variety of games that include wonderful high-definition graphics and true 5.1 digital sound is excellent. I like the way that there is very inexpensive Xbox Live for all people connected to high speed Internet. Being able to play online games as an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, for the cost of about $4 a month is an absolute privilege! I love it that the premium version of the Xbox 360 comes with the Xbox Live Arcade game called Hexic, which was made by the creator of Tetris. Hexic plays a lot like Tetris; it is a puzzle game that really makes you think about what you are doing. The Xbox 360 will work with MP3/WMA audio digital players so you can include whatever background music you want in any game. There is something very special about playing, "Danger Zone" from the Top Gun movie soundtrack in the background while you are playing a racing game! I feel the need...the need for speed!!! Microsoft thought of virtually everything with the Xbox 360, and I am so happy I bought it. Perfect Dark Zero is my favorite game of all time!
Suggestions: I have heard rumors about MAME emulators coming to the Xbox 360 in a way that will legally allow thousands of arcade games to be released on the Xbox 360. I think this would be amazing! I would love it if Microsoft could turn that rumor into a fact. I would also love it if Microsoft really is working with DirecTV to add some of those new features to Xbox Live Dashboard in the form of a new Blade on the Dashboard. I also think Microsoft should look at the popularity of certain Xbox Live Arcade games, and how price relates to the games. The games that sell for 400 Microsoft Points are more popular than the games that are 800 Microsoft Points. I believe it would cause many more games to download a larger quantity of games if 400 points was the target price point for more games. From a business point of view, I wish that Microsoft could understand that in Japan, there are three intellectual property franchises that a hardware platform absolutely needs if it wants to achieve true success: Final Fantasy, DragonQuest, and Virtua Fighter. Role-Playing-Games are the most popular genre in Japan, and Fighting games are the second most popular genre. Virtua Fighter is by far the most popular 3D fighting game series in Japan. In terms of sales figures, DragonQuest is the most important Role-Playing-Game. However, Final Fantasy usually is more important overall, because it sets new standards in use of technology. The bottom line is that Microsoft needs to make sure they end up with Final Fantasy, DragonQuest, and Virtua Fighter for the Japanese market. Microsoft also needs to realize that getting games released on an Xbox system after they have been released on another system for quite a while is not a good thing, even if there are new features in the Xbox 360 version. A good example of this is the way the Grand Theft Auto series was so much more successful on the Playstation 2 than it was on the original Xbox. The same thing can be applied to Metal Gear 2 on the original Xbox, and Final Fantasy XI on the Xbox 360. Microsoft needs to make sure that Japanese third party games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, Virtua Fighter 5, and Final Fantasy XIII do not come out for the Playstation 3 first. Sony's primary advantage is Japanese third party support, which is something that can definitely be taken away from them. Microsoft also needs to try and get games like Final Fantasy, DragonQuest, Metal Gear, and Virtua Fighter as exclusive games for the Xbox 360. If Microsoft were to get a NEW Final Fantasy game as an exclusive release in Japan, you could pretty much guarantee that the Xbox 360 would set sales records in Japan, just like it has in every other sales territory in the world. An excellent example of this is the way that the Sega Saturn was outselling the Playstation by a ratio of 5:3, because Saturn had Virtua Fighter, but Final Fantasy VII was supposedly being developed for the Nintendo Ultra 64. However, once Squaresoft announced that Final Fantasy VII would be released exclusively on the Playstation, the Playstation started outselling the Saturn by a margin so huge that the sales war was instantly over. This same sort of thing would happen if Xbox 360 could get SquareEnix to make Final Fantasy or DragonQuest exclusively for the Xbox 360. I would also like to thank Microsoft for including 512MB of RAM in the system rather than the 256MB that I have heard was originally scheduled. RAM is something that is very important in a system; it helps eliminate frame-rate problems in games, especially First-Person-Shooters. I highly suggest that Microsoft talks to Rare about creating a sequel to Perfect Dark Zero at some point in the future, because that is my favorite game of all time. Please see my Suggestions to the Manufacturer for Perfect Dark Zero so that you can see what I have to say about a sequel to Perfect Dark Zero. To briefly summarize what I would like to see in a Perfect Dark Zero sequel: Keep Left Trigger as the zoom button and Keep Right Trigger as the shoot button. Change the default Analog Thumb Stick controls so that they are like Halo rather than then N64 version of Perfect Dark. In other words, make it so the Left Analog Thumb Stick moves Joanna's body forward, backward, left and right; and make it so the Right Analog Thumb Stick controls Joanna's head and overall point of view. This feature is already included in the original Perfect Dark Zero--all you need to do is go to the Options menu and change the Default controls. However, most professional game reviewers and many gamers rate things based on their Default settings. The popularity of games like Halo and Call of Duty 2 clearly show that Default Controls like Halo would be much better than that the Default Controls from the Nintendo 64 version of Perfect Dark. I recommend making the Default Controls like Halo, but keep the Perfect Dark Nintendo 64 controls as a selectable option in the Options menu. That way, fans of the original Perfect Dark for Nintendo 64 can also be satisfied. I also recommend that a sequel to Perfect Dark Zero allow gamers to choose the way that their point-of-view control with the Right Analog Thumb Stick works, just like when Halo is starting out on the original stage. That way, gamers will have the ability to choose whether the game plays like Halo or Call of Duty 2. In other words, the Left Analog Thumb Stick will move your character forward, backward, left, and right, but gamers will get to choose how the Right Analog Thumb Stick works for controlling head movement responsible for point of view; the gamers will get to choose if pushing the Right Analog Thumb Stick down causes the camera to move up like in Call of Duty 2 or down like in Halo. Halo allows videogame players to choose, and I think that Perfect Dark Zero should do the same. I have an excellent idea for how this can be integrated into the storyline of Perfect Dark Zero. One other improvement that should be made to Perfect Dark Zero's sequel is adding a Jump button. In Perfect Dark Zero, Joanna Crouches by pushing in on the Left Analog Thumb Stick. Pushing in on the Right Analog Thumb Stick doesn't do anything in Perfect Dark Zero. The Right Analog Thumb Stick could easily become the Jump button in a Perfect Dark Zero sequel. If these improvements were made, then the Perfect Dark intellectual property franchise would definitely receive the wonderful reviews that it deserved in Perfect Dark Zero, but was denied by a small group of stubborn reviewers who weren?t willing to change the Default controls in the Options menu. All of the professional reviewers and experienced gamers who know how to use an Options menu to change controls made it so the games Analog Thumb Stick character movement controls played just like Halo, and we absolutely loved the game! Thankfully, hundreds of thousands of gamers chose to listen to the majority of reviewers and bought Perfect Dark Zero! Please contact me if you would like to discuss anything. I believe Microsoft should try to build Perfect Dark into an intellectual property that achieves a similar level of success to Nintendo's Super Mario Bros. franchise. I think that one of the ways this could be done is to make it so there are deals that would allow consumers to receive Perfect Dark Zero as a bonus or a pack in game. I recently saw a deal like this on the Internet Best Buy and Future Shop offered in Canada; anyone who bought an Xbox 360 could buy Perfect Dark Zero for $1. If Microsoft had to decide whether they should lower the price of the Xbox 360 or include Perfect Dark Zero at the existing price, I would recommend lowering the price of the system. However, including Perfect Dark Zero with the system as a pack in game, regardless of the price of the system, would help to build Perfect Dark Zero into the sort of franchise that Super Mario is. If that happens, I recommend that Microsoft include some sort of advice that makes it clear to consumers that they have the ability to change the game to play like Halo by simply going to the Options menu and changing the controls. I have many more ideas for Perfect Dark Zero and other games. Please contact me if you would like to discuss my ideas and suggestions for storyline and game improvements. Overall: The upgrade to 360 has definitely been worth it. The experience at Xbox Live has been enhanced. The visuals and sounds have definitely been enhanced. Movie playback has been enhanced. I love the Xbox Arcade...
I was a bit worried at first since I owned the original Xbox with the Duke controllers and I never got used to the controller S. However, playing with the 360 controllers felt pretty easy to get used to and I had no problems at all switching over. Having all the functions including on/off, disc eject to be operable remotely is a great touch. I can't wait to see what else this thing can do once hooked up to the PC and other things.
Suggestions: My first request would be to have bigger harddrives. The next would probably be better headsets. If everything else was designed with careful consideration and stuff, I don't see why you guys got lazy when it came to the headset. Overall, I am happy with it though.

Overall: I?m not sure where to start with this one. When I finally hooked up my 360, I was a little nervous about the changes that Microsoft was making on xbox live and with the dashboard. Setting up this puppy put my fears to rest. Actual setup required nothing more than taking the xbox out of the entertainment center and putting the 360 there in its place, then turning it on. The instructions were ridiculously easy to follow, I?m pretty sure a chimp out of the jungle could do it. The changes made to live and to the dashboard were an incredible improvement. I thought they were fine the way they were, but now I could never go back. Transferring my gamertags over to the 360 was painless and took practically no time at all. I am really impressed with the management system Microsoft has given us with this console.
The appearance of the 360 is definitely another strength. I liked my old black box and wasn?t sure about how the new lighter ?chill? color would look, but Microsoft pulled this one off nicely. I would have liked it better if the DVD tray was gray instead of silver, but I can live with it. The ring of light is an attractive feature and a clever way to help gamers manage their wireless controllers. The shape is really nice, actually pretty sweet. The power brick isn?t much to look at, but it stays behind the entertainment stand. No harm, no foul. In general, though, the appearance rocks and just reeks of coolness.
The power supply is huge, but easily managed if you set it up right. The best way is probably to put it in a very well ventilated area behind the entertainment center (yes, they do exist if you look hard for them.) and run the power cord in to your 360. The unit is loud, but after you play for half an hour you won?t notice, especially if you hooked it up to a surround sound receiver. The cooling mechanisms are apparently of a high quality. I?ve played this thing a ridiculous amount of time without the slightest issue. I?m thinking all the ?overheating issues? we are hearing about consist mainly of people not setting up their 360s in well ventilated areas. The power this technological wonder puts out generates heat and has safe measures in place to deal with this heat, but if you don?t follow the instructions that say ?place in a well ventilated area? you will most likely have some problems. The cords and remote that were included were high quality. I?m still going to get the monster cables and the Logitech remote because they are better, but the ones included were of unprecedented quality to be included ?in the box?. Microsoft deserves some love for including items of this quality instead of the cheap, bargain basement crap that usually comes with consoles.
Wireless controllers? I was a little concerned about this too. Would they work? Would they feel funny? They are simply amazing. These are definitely the best controllers designed in the history of gaming?ever. When you hold them, you can tell how well they are made. The buttons are easily managed and they are perfectly balanced. I?ve had no issues whatsoever with the 360 getting the message my fingers send it. (This was my main concern.) Even when I put the coffee table close to the entertainment center to keep my son from pushing buttons, the signal remains strong and crisp. The ability to manage your console from a remote, wireless controller is an early Christmas present from Microsoft to gamers everywhere. The control/networking scheme used between the controllers and console is perfect.
After playing the 360, I have just been astonished at its abilities. The games look like no games have ever looked. The abilities of the 360 just floor me. It puts the next in next generation. I can?t really think of a single flaw. I was going to bash the cooling system, but I can?t because it is a very well designed system that works well. I thought the power supply was a weakness, but it turned out to be a non-issue. Overall, this is the best console ever made. It may well rule the gaming world for the next half decade.
Suggestions: I'm so blown away by the excellence of this game system that I cannot think of a single suggestion. Every concern I have had has been put to rest by the 360's performance. Make it blue? Give us colored controllers? Who cares. Just keep up the excellent work.
