The Tony Hawk Pro Skater series is one of the few games that has had multiple sequels and continues to be of an incredibly high caliber. There has been an influx of extreme sports games over the past few years, some have flopped and others have succeeded. The Tony Hawk series seems to be the game that raises the bar and from which all other games are compared."

Overall: Tony Hawk does it again, with all new tracks and make your person a star. Design your own tricks is a new one in the Tony Hawk series. Even if you don't skateboard, this game can really be made fun. Not only can you mess around in this game on a skateboard, you can get into cars and so fourth and mess around in those. It's got a feel of an open end city and it feels good.
Gameplay: Skate with a person, with your custom tricks and cruise around the city. Or jump in a car and mess around on multiplayer or something with that. I think it's a fun game.
Graphics: Graphics are pretty good, not the best but it's better than the past Tony Hawk games. This one is definately worth trying.
Sound: Custom Soundtrack? What? What? What? haha...Enjoy it. Sound is great other than that, they really pulled it off.
Suggestions: I remember playing the first one, just keep making them. When you continue, just continue to improve and you should be fine.

Overall: As always with the Tony Hawk's series, it's a vast improvement over the last game, but sadly despite improvements, the formula has been over done. The same formula isn't just used for the THPS series, but also Activision's other extreme sports games, and it's just got boring. If you've never before played a Tony Hawk's game, you may get hours of enjoyment from this game, but those who have been there from the beginning will complete it quickly, and not feel the need to go back and play again.
Gameplay: Fun to play as ever, but despite new additions such as hip transfers, and the awesome ability to leave your board in favour of running around on foot, the system still feels tired, and despite all the aditions, it's still the same game at heart. Story mode adds a huge amount over the last games, but it's all over too quickly, and despite chosing you're own sponsors and the such, playing a second time, it's still the same thing.I feel with Live the game would have lasted longer, but over XBC connect not alot more is really added to the game.
Graphics: Compared to prevous Hawk games, great improvement, shadows especially look great, but over the cities, things feel a bit too square and overall things feel a bit too PS2. There are some nice touches such as board graphics scratching away, and the graphics get the job done just fine.
Sound: Sounds are fine for the game, the sounds of grinds and wheels match those of their reallife counterparts, and background sounds such as cars and people sound up to par, the soundtrack isn't exceptionally great, but it really depends on your musical tastes, but with the custom soundtracks you can have you're own choice of music making it perfectly suited to your tastes.
Suggestions: Live support would be a huge bonus, and rather than trying to rush out another game for christmas, why not just take a break and care about quality over the money, the system needs to be entirely overhauled, it's just run its course.

Overall: This game PWNZ! It actually feels like ur meeting skaters! Ur character even has a voice. but however, no Xbox live! WHAT WAS ACTIVISIOIN/NEVERSOFT THINKING?!? But that doesn't bother my score, though. The Create-a-deck (unlocked after beating Slam City Jam) is nice. KISS is in there and also some funny bits like with Bam Margera and the tanks in moscow. The Gaps in the later levels r INSANELY HARD to find. but u unlock 20 Peds if u find all of them.
Gameplay: yeah, It's nice. I like the concept. even getting off of your board and on it again. It's a unique idea. it needs XBL, however. Unlike the PS2, the way to get off of ur board is easy. all u gotta do is hit Black. beating THUG 100% is a real treat. I'm not spoiling it. The Create-a-goal=addiction. now I can make those SKATE and COMBO letter challenges eeeeeeeasy!
Graphics: the visuals... are excellent. It animates every different part of the body as well as accessories. 60 FPS=awesome game. I thought all that crap in the game would bring the Frame speed down. It's a nice concept. I didn't no the Xbox had it in it!
Sound: the audio... it's also excellent! it even has a song from MHPBMX: Positive contact. U can even put ur own songs in there. sum rock songs have A LOT of energy like Embody the invisible. But they keep the THPS2 Gap sound/Ollie/wheel roll/Grind/etc, but the THPS3 landing-on-metal sound. nice job.
Suggestions: It needs Xbox live and more twisty streets.

Overall: after 4 Tony Hawk games youd think it would get old & tired. But Underground wipes every doubt out of your mind. Underground not only has great gameplay on board, you can get off your board, drive other vehicles & a great storyline mode. Underground is by far the best of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series.
Gameplay: just like 3 & 4 the moves on your board are the same. with a few more tricks/combos you can do. just press black to get off your board. you can also do a trick get off your board & then do another trick to double your score, great ways to win multiplayer matches.
Graphics: the graphics are great but the character models still could use a little more work. Plus Tony Hawk looked better in 4 then Underground. just like the other games UG has an unlockable character, this time around its Iron Man. Iron Man looks good, but theres never been much to his suit anyway.
Sound: the voice acting is pretty good i guess.
Suggestions: keep doing what youre doing, but im not sure what you can do to keep #6 from repeating.

Overall: The game was great. I had a great time and couldn't stop playing it. I like how the story is very detailed unlike previous tony hawk's before this. I am a big fan of the tony hawk games, but this one really is way better than the rest.
Gameplay: The gameplay was very smooth, there was no glitches, and wasn't so hard that you can't beat the first level, but not so easy that it will take you a hour to beat it. Gameplay was great.
Graphics: The visual is awsome! Great graphics like most xbox games, and the grinds and tricks looked great. Much better graphics than the previous tony hawk games.
Sound: The sound was nice! The grinds sounded perfect, and the bails you can almost feel them! Great sound!!!
Suggestions: You guys are doing great, keep up the good work! Make the next tony hawk games with such a detailed story line again please.

Overall: Great Gift, one of my favorites! Took me 3 days (full 24 hours- :P yes i stay up that late)(so sleepy) You got the great elements of previous tony hawk games, with BIG BONUSES! you can creat skaters, decks, tricks, AND parks; whats not to likE!!!!
Gameplay: A force to be reckon with!(catchy) Loved every moment of it(excpt the bails) I HATED THAT ERIC PUNK- but hes not a reason to lower the score :P(Nice try) but the elements are insane(the new firefight impressed me)
Graphics: You kidding me-5! You can create somebody then play the whole game as him(or her)! Love the big areas(exploring). Love the kewl boards, even the sweet tricks i pull off so often! :P
Sound: Sweet had me rocking through the whole game, and i can actually hear them!!(NFS: UG :P) Loved every moment of it.
Suggestions: Only reason i'd get board is if i had nothing to do(But you can do other stuff after you beat the game :D) But awsome game, Complements to NeverSoft/Activision! Cheers!

Overall: Tony Hawk's Underground is very, very fun! They added a new feature where you can get off your board and jump on to buildings. I've always been a fan of the Tony Hawk's games, and this one, I think is better than the rest.
Gameplay: The Gameplay is awesome. There are tons of tricks you can preform, and you can even make up your own. YOu can create goals, parks, and characters and then play them all at once. The Story mode is very detailed. It actully has a plot. You create your character and customize them how ever you want, and then go from a New Jersey skateborader to Pro Skater. I'll be playing this for a long time
Graphics: The graphics are suprisingly good! The characters, and background are both very detailed and realistic.
Sound: The sound is also very good in T.H.U.G., the sounds reach out to bails, breaking glass, grinding and wheels.
Suggestions: The Only thing I would change is the Story Mode, maybe you could try to make it a little more customizable, because everything you do is going to be the same if you play it again exept for like 2 things.

Overall: I just got this game for christmas and I must say it rules! although I haven't finished it I'm looking forward to doing that!
Gameplay: I'm not sure about the new story mode, that's why it was a 4.5 instead of 5, although I think the story mode is a great addition.
Graphics: great graphics! best ever! much improved since original game, best graphics for a game I have played.
Sound: I never listen to the soundtracks, I just listen to my own, but the sound is clear and nice and loud.
Suggestions: show the title of song and artist on pause menu, and faster running of skateboard, other than that I can't wait for the next Tony Hawk. wether it be, 5, or underground 2, it will be great!

Overall: It's definetly a very cool game, and it's way different than previous Tony Hawk games. The ability to walk adds a lot to the game.
Gameplay: The skateboarding part is pretty much the same as it has been on all the other THPS games. What really makes it different is the ability to get off your skateboard and walk around and clikmb things. It adds a whole new level to the game, and allows for new types of missions, and new places to be found. The Create-A-trick feature is awesome, and very addicting too.
Graphics: Not great, but the graphics are still pretty good. They're basically what you would expect from the average Xbox game.
Sound: Amazing. The soundtrack is huge, and you won't hear the same song twice. The voiceovers are done fairly well, and the skateboard sounds are done well also.

Overall: Nice work on this one....i like how they twisted their minds and came out with a story mode with an actual story
Gameplay: gameplay is the usual you come to expect from THPS and everything i liked the manuals and everything...especially create a trick
Graphics: visuals were really good for an extreme sports sim game... everything flowed pretty smoothly, hardly any jagged areas and no black areas for the most part
Sound: sound was great! i liked hearing some new flavor from their soundtracks. they really know how to pick them i hardly listened to my own music when i played this game
Suggestions: make the story weave a lil bit more...its cool though we need another THUG...

Overall: Great skateboarding game! If you liked the Tony Hawk series you'll like this game also. Featuring diffrent things.
Gameplay: The game is great! It has the same feel as the other Tony Hawk games do. You can now drive cars! Also alot of nice huge maps to play on and a great new actual story. Of you starting as just a town skater to a pro.
Graphics: The visuals are alright. Looks like Tony Hawk 4 graphics to me. Those are pretty good also. But I don't mind the graphics that much.
Sound: The sound is nice. You can tell you're grinding on a pole. To skateing on pavement or ramps. Just as good as the past Tony Hawks.
Suggestions: Make this a Live title next time.

Overall: Im very happy with this game. Tony Hawk 4 turned me away from this game because i was so disappointed but this made up for it. BUT, im still mad it isnt online.
Gameplay: Just like the other Tony Hawk games but with some new added things like climbing. Is more realistic and i like the street environments a lot.
Graphics: Pretty good looking game i think. A little better than past Tony Hawk games so im happy. But still think the create a skater needs improvment.
Sound: Basic skateboarding game sounds. Everything that has been in past games was in this one. No real improvment there but what more can they add really.

Overall: This was a good game for about a day or two. Trust me if you are a master at the tony hawk games then rent this one out because you will complete it in less than 2 days. If you are a newbie to the Tony Hawk genre then this is a wicked game and a definate elite. I think it was just me because i had mastered all the other titles. I was really disappointed that Avtivision didnt include all the features they said they would. They promisted Live capability, and also they said you could put your face on your character. Wah a load of bollocks that was. They made it online for the PS2?????????!?!?!?!?! WHY NOT XBOX! Xbox live is way betta than PS2 online. PS2 online blows. Oh well if you want to play this online then you have to download the XBConnect program. This makes yur xbox think it is playing online when it is in system link mode. I would say it was a good game though for the two days i had it.
Gameplay: The gameplay isnt the biggest hit if you have completed and mastered all of the other Tony Hawk games because it will only last you 2 days max. Other than that the gameplay is really good. The goals are good (most of them). But i absaloutly hate the goals where you dont skate because they eally sucked and thats what messed up the game. For flips sake there are actually missions where you drive cars and the game engine doesnt cope with it at all. Also 1 mission in russia you have to sneak around and meet russian contacts, what the hell is all that about. Apart from the stealth and car driving missions this is a top game and deserves to have a good score just for the skating parts of it. The create a trick rules aswell because it gives you the option to make your own tricks and develop them. This series is a real story mode though unlike all the other THPS games. This time the game makes you big and then your mate ruins it for you and then it gets really emotional because you are nothing in the end. Sghame you cant send your tricks to your mates on Xbox Live though. What a bummer.
Graphics: The visuals are awesome. They are the best part about the game. If it wasnt for the graphics then this Tony Hawk game would have a lot of complaints because it would have nothing to fall back on if the gameplay sucked, Which some parts kind of do. Once you get past all the fooling around driving cars, this game is a real hit and a must have for all those skaters out there, or even if u just like the skating games. Take my advice, rent it, see if you complete it by the time it goes back and if you do then send it back. I took it back and exchanged it for Rainbow Six 3 and i am a lot happier with it.

Sound: The sounds can be cool like the ollies and when you land off a halfpipe. Its all good, no real bad points about the sound qualitys or sounds. Trust me, even after two days of playing your own created character in this game it has you going round talking New Jersey skate slang.
Suggestions: Definatly a few suggestions. For a start MAKE IT ONLINE!!!, and secondly dont say you are going to include stuff in and then dont do it because that really ticks people off. It did me. Actually put the face masking feature in next time if you say you are going to.

Overall: Well look. Tony Hawk. That's a new concept...oh wait, it's not. How many more repetitive games must we go through for activision to be satisfied? The goals are so dumb in this game as well. One goal was grind til the security guard has a heart attack. wow.
Gameplay: SAME GAMEPLAY as the others, except that you can get off your board and climb houses. So basically, they give you more moves, but the moves still give you headaches from the shear repetitiveness of this game.
Graphics: Graphics were the only good thing in this game. I would probably give them a 4 or higher if I didn't hate this game so much.
Sound: Ok, they let you play your own soundtracks. thank you for that. that makes up for some of the crap, but still, crappy game overall.
Suggestions: Don't ever make another tony hawk game. i beseech you.

Overall: I have been buying and playing the tony hawk pro skater series since the fist one. I was a little worried when I found out that they were going to try to put a story line to "T.H.U.G." but never hesitated to buy it. Fortunatley I made a great decision about it because it is one of the best made of the series.

Gameplay: I believe that the gameplay is Great! I love the new story line they put in. Even though the game is quite simple to beat I think that if you are a real fan you can get by with just free skating and multiplayer. Multiplayer has added a new game "firefight" which is great fun when played with a friend. System link play is also very cool.
Graphics: Basically the graphics are the same as on THPS4 but they have added a few details like your board can break on this one and it gets more and more scratched up as you play which is really cool. On create a skater there is a lot more efficient face selection, eventhough you can't put your face in like you can on PS2 I found a face that looks just like me.
Sound: Unfortunatley they used basically the same phrases as they did on THPS4 but the skater that you have to create has all new sayings like when you get hurt they now say," awww my ancle " or " awww my knee which is nice to get away from the same dull phrases. Plus they put new sounds when you are grinding so the rails sound a lot better.

Overall: This new installment to the Tony Hawk series is the best one yet. This game will amaze you. You could walk , climb , drive and of course skate. Whether you are new to the series or a fan from day 1 this game is right for you.
Gameplay: The Gameplay is very addictive. New features have been added to Tony Hawk's Underground. You now have the ability to get off your skateboard and walk, drive , and climb buildings. Activision also added " Put your face in the game" feature and you can now make your own tricks and make your own deck.
Graphics: The visual effects on this game looks alot like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 but just a little bit more polished. But don't get me wrong this game is gorges.
Sound: The sound on this game sounds great. You hear a lot of the details of your surroundings. Plus T.H.U.G's soundtrack is massive there is over 72 songs on the game. Plus you can pick what type of genre of music best fits your style. Xbox owners have Custom soundtracks saved from there xbox.
Suggestions: Keep up the good work!

Overall: Well, what do you need to expect with another hawk series title. Its been given the usual hawk face lift with a new way to link up combos(running) and it has been given an rpg feel. Oh and dont forget about the create a move option.
Gameplay: Gameplay is nice and tight. There is the same idea of going around and doing diffrent mission like THPS4 but its involved in a story mode. You go from not having a any skateboard to being a pro skater. For the first half of the game you have to deal with your brainless friend Eric who is constantly getting into troube and causing you to bail him out. This continues untill you sign and choose what sponser you want. Thats as far as i have gotten
Graphics: The graphics are clean, but they scream PS2 port. I would have liked if they had used any of the xbox's graphic capabilities but oh well i cant really complain. What ever happend to that real life grass deal like in THPS2x? Anway graphics get a 3.5
Sound: Awesome sound effects, with the option to have customized songs. If you dont have any songs dont be sad becasue like always the game comes with a nice wide variety of music genres to fit your needs. Heh they even got SOD on there.
Suggestions: With XBC, and old schoo levels to unlock this has a lot of life in it. Ya gotta love this series for how far it has come. Ya gotta check this one out addicts!

Overall: I'm a veteran in the Tony Hawk games, and yet again Neversoft comes out with the same basic game but somehow (like always) makes it totally fresh. THUG has the same ramp and grind and tricks that we all know and love, but this time around you can get off your deck and ride in cars and run around.
Gameplay: Wow, this game is really impressive. If you thought the last two Hawk's were kinda killing the series (like i did), then don't worry because this one is GREAT. If you've played any other TH game, you know how the boarding feels, but the new cool parts are running around and driving. Running feels awkward at first, but after a while you'll start to love it. Driving, however, feels totally tacked on, but doesn't ruin the game experience since all the driving parts are easy.
Graphics: I don't know how many of you remember THPS 1 and 2, but even though those were the best games in the series, they looked like crap. This one looks very good. Some of the character models could have used a bit of work, but the overall visuals are above average.
Sound: You gotta love games that have real soundtracks. This one has the biggest selection of songs that I've seen in any game. One of my pet peeves from previous Hawk games was not being able to see what the title of a song was without going through the sounds menu. This one has the song details on the menu that pops up when you press start. Like almost every game thats ever had a real soundtrack, some songs are bad, some are okay, and some you'll hum and sing along to for as long as you remember them. I also love games with Janes Addiction songs, so I'm grateful for that.
Suggestions: Hmmmm, none that i can think of other than more good songs. Also, maybe there should only be a few more TH games. The developers should move onto more different products... they've already shown that they can do extreme sports, now how bout TH MMORPG :) ?
