Movies and video games have a lot in common but they also have some glaring differences. One such difference is sequels. With a movie, rarely, if at all, do you ever see a sequel that is vastly superior to the original."

Overall: This Rallisport Challenge is good, but not that good. It has a varity of online lagging issues and is sometimes to difficult and annoying to play.
Gameplay: It is fun only when it is on certain couses. They have several different tipes, but it is jsut boring now.
Graphics: Ok. I am sorry, but the visuals now unfourtunatly are completly out of date. The dirt wears off and the crash physics are wearing out indefinitly.
Sound: Same old same old. This game shouldnt be renowned for this. iT is boring sound. I am sorry but I think nothing is original about this game.
Suggestions: Thanks for a good series start something new!

Overall: This game was a great pleasure to play. Looks and sounds great. The cars were unique, responsive, great environments and courses and the problems online were fixed very quickly. The best car racing game in my opinion out.
Gameplay: A great game to play. The career is very long and you have a lot to unlock. You have to practice a lot at this game to become good at it. You must pay attention to the course and learn to brake, accelerate, etc at the right time. Online is great as well. The lag isn't a factor at all and cheating was fixed quickly.
Graphics: This is by far the best overall looking car racing game out. The cars have a nice real look. The farther into the race you get the dirtier your car gets and the damage was done very well. The damage becomes more evident the more you crash up your car in specific areas. The courses are also very well done. Each is unique and very challenging.
Sound: The sound was very accurate to real life. There was a lot of attention to different cars engines and the gear shifting/over reving, etc. The cars crashing together wasn't real exciting but a ralli game isn't about that so it's good. However, they did do a really good job with the sounds when the car is rolling.

Overall: This game is amzing and is a great sequel to an already great game. With more cars and tracks it can only get better. The level of difficulty also got harder making it a much more intense ride through the mud.
Gameplay: The gameplay is intense and multiplayer is just plain nuts. Taking on your friends is fun and its crazy how much competition that brings to the table. Nothing is better than slidning around tight corners an spraying mud in your friends face.
Graphics: The grapphics have also been revamped and they make the game even more realistic. The mud sticks to the winshield and your car looks beat after a tough race. The enviroments are always good, but now they seem to come alive as you speed by many different scenaries.
Sound: The sound adds to the racing fun as you can hear your car rev out in every gear then shift. The custom soundtracks is also a good feature to have.
Suggestions: Please kepp coming out with these games please.

Overall: Rallisport challenge series are my favorite racing game. Il lite it even better that Gran tourismo and Collin. Rallisport is fast, is crisp are the controls are intuitive. I like the simulation vs arcade ratio.
Gameplay: Better than the first one. The way you progress through the level is really cool. Challenge by challege, you can climb your way to the top.
Graphics: Really really good. Best graphic for a Racing game. Cars are really nice and they get a bit dammage when you hit... say. a tree ?
Sound: Pretty good. Car sound are honest. Music is allright but you can put your own music. Copilot is well done and accurate
Suggestions: Pretty cool game

Overall: alas the first game past me by... but this one sure didn't!! i was one of the many people hit be the hype of this game... but was that hype deserved?? yes... rsc2 is a very good game, offering great multiplayer thrills and a level of of graphical polish to match the best of the pc.
nothing new is brought to the table, but everything that was there before just got better!!
Gameplay: single player is much like pgr2 in the sense that it is slightly limited, but it remains a fun and enjoyable experience... however where rsc2 excels is the multiplyer aspect... with online stats, and an excellent online and offline mode, rsc2s multiplayer really blows away the competition.
overall gameplay is very good, and boasts excellent online play... however with single player sometimes being a bit dull it often overshadows its great multiplayer counterpart.
Graphics: rsc2 is one of the best looking racers on the big black box, environments boast a huge amount of detail, and all boast particle and water effects. attention to detail is remarkeable, with cars gradually picking up dirt and environments complete with birds, animals, and beautifully detailed textures.. i would have liked to see a bit more bump mapping, and maybe slightly more detailed cars... but taking nothing away from the great work that was put into the games presentation.
Sound: the default tracks are average... but the ability to make custom soundtracks sorts that out!!
environments sound lovely, and give a great audio impresion of being where you are... cars sound nice, and boast nice audio effects like the gear changes and the suspension being worked.
overall sound is very good, and is complemented by the abilty to rip you own tunes... rsc2 is a great sounding game.
Suggestions: no wire frame on live, and better single play.

Overall: I was a big fan of the first RalliSport, and was not disappointed in RalliSport 2. They made small improvements on nearly every aspect of the first game, including better courses, environments, vehicles, graphics, and gameplay. I do have a few minor issues with the game, that I'll get into. Overall I'd give RS2 a 4.75 out of 5, but since I don't have that option, I'll round up...
Gameplay: I have almost no complaints in the gameplay department. The cars handle smoothly, and intuitively. One improvement that I appreciated greatly over RS1 was the ability to redo certain stages of the race. In the first one, if you messed up a stage badly, you would have to do the entire race - all of the stages - over again. In this one, you can redo the stages as needed, which causes for a lot less headaches. RS2 has a lot of different type of races including Hill Climb races, Rally races, Rally Cross, Ice Racing, etc... My only very minor complaint is that in a lot of the races you are racing alone, with no other competitors on the track. With some of the longer races, this can get a bit tedius. However, in all fairness, that is the name of the game, and it is not a fault of the developer.
Graphics: The visuals are fantastic. The environments and vehicles look great. The vehicles also show damage. Realistic weather conditions are a nice touch, and there are several different driver views to choose from.
Sound: Alright, here's my one real beef with the game. The vehicles all sound pretty much the same and they are whiny, buzzing sounding engines. It can definitely get annoying after awhile. It would be nice to hear a more throaty sounding vehicle, or at least have a noticeable difference between the vehicles. But, it does have custom soundtracks, which is a HUGE bonus. I'll deduct a point for the lacking engine sounds.
Suggestions: Engine noises could be improved. Perhaps more unique vehicles (much like the ones that were offered as DL content on Xbox Live).

Overall: Deffenitly what all racing games should indeed include. The fact that the game has the best graphics seen on a racer yet, the complete ability to tear the car apart and that it is very fast paced and doesnt get boring is excellent.
Gameplay: Excellent gameplay due to the fact that your car handles realisticly in the fact that it can tip over, roll, flip up, slide every which way, get stuck in the snow. Its a pure adreniline rush.
Graphics: Graphics in this game exceed awesome. They make colin mcree(i do like colin mcree 04) look horrible.
Sound: Excellent sound, the sound of the cars reving and redlining makes for realism. The music is a little iffy, but you can add your own soundtracks which totally throws that right out the window.
Suggestions: Deffenitly when you release the 3rd installment inlude the ability to tweak the handling a little more in depth. I hate to say change much but it would feel cool if for once a rally game strived to do the same that Gran Turismo or Sega GT does by allowing you to possess a garage which then you can hold your rally car and tweak it however you want.

Overall: Rallisport (the original) was amazing. Beating that level of experience and racing gameplay had to have been a difficult goal but the gang behind it certainly pulled it off. The game is simply great. The sense of speed is amazing. Some courses when racing at night and in the fog of a rainstorm actually make you think, "What idiot would race in conditions like these". The only complaint I have is the extreme change in difficulties as you get to the end of the career modes. It isn't that the game gets too difficult just that the degree of change from the Pro to Champion careers is too vast. The first two career levels could have been more difficult. This would have made the gameplay more challenging and therefore last longer. Overall, just a great racing experience.
Gameplay: INSANE - If you like racing games (regardless of whether you like rally racing) you'll like this one. Fast! that is it. Racing at night actually makes you need the turn calls from your navigator (easy left into easy right, tightens, careful trees outside, into medium left over bridge, careful jump). Pure adrenalin. The brake and e-brake are necessary although manual shifting is not an absolute must have to succeed. The game physics are great even if they are exaggerated. One of the things I liked was the fact that other cars on the head to head races had the same levels of control. Often in racing games if you make contact with CPU controlled car they keep on moving and you bounce of like a pinball on a bumper. If you need to get a car out of your way, push them. Crashes are amazingly realistic although the damage really has to add up before it takes a toll on your vehicle's performance. You'll manage to lose a wheel once in a while.
Graphics: The courses are amazing. The lighting is incredible. It is so real that you'll actually have to deal with sun glare if your racing in the evening. Occasionally birds fly off of the course to get out of your way. Mud and snow fly out behind your vehicle. One thing that was overdone is the 3-D effect applied to your vehicle when racing with the chase view option from just behind the car. For vehicles with fins like the hill climb racers the spoiler takes up a significant portion of the screen. On the Ice Races you can even notie the four wheel steering from this racing perspective. There are so many interesting touches to the visuals that no one will notice them all at first. Then you begin to notice your headlights went out after hitting that last tree head on. Or that dirt/snow accumulates slowly on the back of your car when you race. The reflected lights on the car when going through a long tunnel. Or the sparks when you brush up against a rail. (Not to mention the noise when that happens.)
Sound: The sound it good. Especially the noises from the surface on which you are racing. Leave the tarmac for a gravel road and you'll start hearing the rocks hiting the underside of the car. The music gets a little old but you have the XBOX option of selecting your own tracks.
Suggestions: Create a more even progression for the difficulty level. Add more unique tracks not just alterations of previous ones. Online posting of top times (as mentioned by others too). If possible larger support for more cars using XBOX Live. Wire frames aren't bad but physically bumping someone out of the way is better. (Wire frames remind me of old games like Tempest and Star Wars at an arcade not a state of the art machine more than a decade later.) Add the option to make damage have a bigger impact. Similarly make sure roadside obstacles react appropriately when hit. I went from 65 to 0 by hitting a park bench, not realistic at all. Light posts should fall down. Lastly, I got an occasional error message implying that my game disc was dirty which displayed only when the image of an unlocked item was being brought up for display on the screen. Fix that if others have also encountered it. My disc is spotless not even a fingerprint. Otherwise AWESOME job. I'd been waiting for this one for months and wasn't dissappointed.

Overall: This game is awesome...especially for free. Much better than the first one. The roads are much clearer, bettter handling, more realistic damage etc. Just perfect version of the older game.
Gameplay: Awesome gameplay. better handling. Also better cars, and the vibration is also imporved, espicially during the transitions to different surfaces.
Graphics: This is the best upgrade for me from the first one. In the first one I found it hard to look at the road ahead, but this one's much better.
The sceneries and maps are better too.
Sound: The cars sound great but they can improve on music.
Much improved over the last
one though.

Suggestions: bettter music.

Overall: Wow. I loved the first installment of this series. RC2 is an awesome racing experience. The graphics are superb. The mud. The rain. The car flips and jumps. It is just plain awesome. This is the off road equivalent of Project Gotham 2.
Gameplay: The physics of the game are much improved over the original. You can actually feel the mud and snow affect the car performance. The tracks/courses are really well done. 16 player multiplayer adds some chaos to the equation. It rocks.
Graphics: The grass is green. The mud is realistic. The graphics engine is wonderful. HDTV support at 480p makes the experience all the more real.
Sound: If you do not have Dolby 5.1 capability, do yourself a favor and get it. You can hear the cars behind, beside and in front of you. Custom soundtrack support completes the total sound package.
Suggestions: Add 1080i support for HDTV.

Overall: Easily much better than the original. Better graphics, better sound effects, better hadling, better everything (except music). This one even has EXCELLENT 16 player XBox Live support!

Compared to Project Gotham Racing; RalliSport Challenge, 2 has better graphics, better environments, better lighting, equal Live support, but even though the two games are totally different in terms of game play, PGR2 comes in first when it comes to "ease of play." Both PGR2 and RSC2 are the best racers on XBox, and both shouldn't be missed!
Gameplay: The career mode is fun, but a little easy at the start (naturally). As you progress it'll get harder, and most of the tracks become hard enough to challenge any skilled racer.

The physics are much better than the original RalliSport. The cars don't seem to be so light any more, they actually hug the ground this time around. And the y interact with the environment a lot better too. So if you flip your car and it's going to roll around...it really IS going to roll around, and doors, bumpers, hoods, tires and just about everything but the driver flys off as the car tubles down the hill.

One complaint is that on the ice tracks or a track were there could be little traction, your car my uncontrollably spin out and it's very hard to counter. But whatever.

XBox Live support is AWESOME. Playing with 16 players is really fun. You get to see them fly around the track, and mess up just as well :D It really is a great experiance.

40 cars to choose from, and something like 90 tracks (some variances of others).
Graphics: Top notch! The trees look totally realistic, and everything is MUCH better than the original game. The environments are much more interesting, and there's a lot more to look at and enjoy. The cars look better too. The sky textures have been improved from the original, and so has the overall texture quality.
Sound: Now comes the good and the bad area. The bad: the music sucks pretty bad, but luckily there are custom sound tracks. The good: the cars sound good, and that's all that matters when you have Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround.
Suggestions: Improve the musical scores. Work on some minor environmental collisions.
