Description

Four heroes — a sultry wizardress, a soaring gunslinger, a powerful swordsman and a dark huntress — are about to be hurtled over the edge in a flight into darkness. Sudeki pushes the limits of what a role-playing game (RPG) can be by providing bigger worlds, more powerful heroes and sexier heroines, all set in the context of Hong Kong-style cinematic combat. In a world ripped apart by deceit, Sudeki players become heroes on a twisting path of betrayal, gravity-defying combat and unbelievable magic

Overall: Sudeki is an enjoyable game, yet not one the better RPGs on the Xbox. You play as the swordsman Tal and three other characters: Ailish, Buki, and Elco. The story of the game involves an evil god named Heigou who has invaded the land of Haskilia in Sudeki. Thus, playing your four characters, you must restore peace in Sudeki. The game is your typical RPG, but follows a rather odd form of gameplay and combat. You could give the game a try, but comparing to games like Morrowind, KotOR, and Jade Empire, it is quite disappointing.
Gameplay: As you play the game, you proceed through the main storyline - through towns, dungeons, the countryside, and so on. You can interact with characters, complete side quests, obtain different abilities, and do all that other stuff that is included in the ?RPG Formula?. Most of the game, though, involves combat and this is where Sudeki goes bad. The overall nature of combat has been poorly structured and can get highly frustrating. The controls are not too bad, but could be much better. In general, the gameplay of Sudeki was much worse than expected and this is where the game really suffers.
Graphics: The visual aspect of the game, on the other hand, has been well done. The characters and environments have been beautifully mastered with plenty of detail, though for some reason, have not reached their full potential.
Sound: The sound in the game is alright. The voices are okay, but are slightly weird at times. The music in the game is just about the same - nothing fancy. The sound effects are like in any other game of this sort. Like with gameplay and the graphics, this could have been done much better.
Suggestions: Improve the style of gameplay, as well as the entire battle system - make it better structured and less frustrating. Also try to perfect the visuals and I also recommend adding more ?depth? to the sound in the game. These things seriously have to be dealt with before suggested any new, say, gameplay features.

Overall: Man, & I thought I was done with RPG's. Until Fable!
This is best described as part Final Fantasy, Grandia II, & Halo's Mature Rated Blood & shooting. OK. So it's in a league of it's own; but it suprisingly does it all transitionally well too! All around great GAME, you can call it RPG, ACTION, & Shooter all at the same time if you wanted to!
Gameplay: You control a team brought together by fate & the story is slowly forwarded until you get to a twisted ending!
Battles are exciting, with bright fast colors & everything is working well! I'm surprised with the AI, NPC Intelligence, & also the citizens all around the globe!
Graphics: Bright & visual. Absolutely no Hiccup & bugs. Good all around. Color & lighting is great but it's a little low on the reflection Mapping & Bump Mapping. But good for it's own worth! It's all set in a good tone!
Sound: Best. Sound. Ever. I still can't get over how amazingly cool this sound is.
If you have 5.1 you may pull a me:
I was playing the other day when I stopped at the market & thought someone was outside my door screaming while the birds were chirping, but nope! It's in game sound! It's the bomb!
The battles are rich with explosions & weapons noises & Blasts from guns. Simply Great! 8 thumbs up!
Suggestions: Great job. I like the story. Sound is amazing, you should patent it; but let other developers know how you did it!

To see water in "Morrowind" Form would have been cool. I guess the graphics were because you started making this game a while ago.

No complaints but I want to see what you guys come up with next.

Overall: I dunno if I would say this will give Final Fantasy a run for it's money but it is a pleasant distraction until Fable arrives. Very well done...like an adventure/RPG lite almost in the realm of Wild Arms from PSOne. Controls are done well and none of the puzzles are so mind bendingly tough that a little bit of thought or a retry won't fix.
Gameplay: Very good controls, yet some battles turn into simple strafe/dodge and hit/shoot...a combo that is a little more interesting than simple turn based RPG's...for a while. But good plot, and twists, and some ok side quests. The game is pretty linear though.
Graphics: Pretty good graphics...characters are done well, the male players will like the Ailish and Buki characters I think.
Sound: The battle sounds are pretty muted and the dialouge can be predictable at best sometimes, yet the voice and lip syncing are pretty nice. However, the background can keep you going in new areas and bore you in others.
Suggestions: Good game...a few things to change maybe, and perhaps make the game a little longer next time but overall a good experience.

Overall: Using a mix of hack em up slasher, first person shooter, and rpg, this game is very unique. Each character has different personalities and skills that can be used to kill enemies, but ranged weapons will be used most by the player. For the enemy does a better job of keeping alive with a melee character. The game has beautiful well thought out environments, and great graphics. The sound can be a little lame but its enjoyable. There isn't A LOT of quests, but there is a few side ones. But the side quests have nothing to do with slaying an enemy, it's mostly picking up valuables and giving them in bulk to the people for florians (money) or various other items.
Gameplay: The characters, Tal, one of the kingdoms finest guards with an attitude of being the greatest. Buki, a woman with animal characteristics, and a protector of her land of Shadani-Mo. Ailish, the Princess of Hiskilia and also one of the finest magicians in the land. Then Elco, the head scientist and the brains behind creating a machine to protect all of the lands. The story, isn't really engaging, but has some great moments of interest. You run around, from world, to realm, to dungeon looking for crystals to power the shield that Elco is trying to build. The enemies, known as Aklorians attack the kingdom, and that is why a shield is trying to be built. It is a pretty boring, useless story at first but as you prgress around ten hours you finally find out what's really going on in the world of Sudeki. I'll leave that for you to find out, but believe me when I say it gets better. Now, for the attacking, Elco and Ailish are ranged warriors who when in battle enter first person view to fire guns and/or magic. This is what you will be using the most. Tal and Buki both use third person and are melee fighters. The combos are fairly simple three button combinations that require some timing. A nice feature is the ability to control how the A.I. reacts. You can tell them to attack without thoughts on defending, retreat, which is basically running away while always blocking, and then defend, which is a mix of the two. While walking around, or exploring it is all third person. But as soon as you enter battle weapons become raised and you don't put them away until all enemies around you have been destroyed. Battle are ALWAYS fought in large open areas, so it's easy to maneuver. Experience is gained for defeating enemies, and completing quests. Once a new level has been reached by getting enough experience, you can pick an upgrade which can be chosen from health, power, magic power, essence or a new skill strike. Magic power is used to perform skill strikes that create devastating effects on enemies, or healing effects on allies. There isn't a lot of replay value in this except for useless side quests, but the game itself is around 15 - 20 hours long (depending on side quests done and time spent levelling up).
Graphics: The cut scenes are very nice and well done. The kingdom is full of light and beauty and has very nice details in trees, walls and even the armour of the warriors. While in game, the visuals and exceptionally well done, except for the lame deaths of enemies. Killing an enemy, usually results in his whole body exploding with blood and bones everywhere, regardless of how you attacked it. That isn't very well done, I wanna see heads being chopped off or even a big hole through the body from the plasmatic ray of the pistol!, instead of the same repetitive thing over and over. But everything else looks just great. You can find broken down carriages everywhere, a bunch of crates and barrels just waiting to be broken for the goodies inside, which looks pretty cool being done. The way the skill strikes are concieved looks great. The enemies while doing a skill strike, still slowly move while you make a chant and a little dance to summon something great, which always looks good in an rpg, again resulting in the same exploding body. While in the "light" world I see fluffy white clouds and blue in the sky, but in the "dark" world you notice dark clouds and twisted skies with lost souls roaming the lands. Very nice touch of diversity between the worlds.
Sound: A great deal of effort went into the sound of Sudeki. Every villager you speak to has a different voice and speaks as the subtitles roll. I love listening to them instead of reading all the time. The voices have some emotion and effort put into them, especially in Tal. Ailish has a cute little British (I'm guessing) accent, which suits her looks. I like the differences between the voices of all four characters. Buki has a husky, animal like voice to show she means business. Elco has the snobby scientist voice with what seems like a french type accent. But, there is some flaws in this voice acting. It's kind of like an, "all your base are belong to us" type thing. Sometimes you hear a sentence that just doesn't make sense and could use a few more words. This shouldn't be done on the xbox. But I'm liking the sounds of the ranged weapons, and the slashing which can explode enemies with a, you know gushing blood sound. Nice touch of maturity in there and there are a few swears.
Suggestions: A little longer of a game. Try to fix those bugs in the sentences. The side quests should involve some assination of monsters or something that terrorize a village, instead of fetching items.

Overall: I have to say i was hesitant on this game, but after playing this game i enjoy it. The game feels like a little of KOTOR mixed in with a highly enjoyable platformer which blends into Sudeki.
Gameplay: Thier are 2 worlds that have been split by good and evil and it is up to 4 characters who weave in and out of the story to save thier world. The cast consists 4 characters who as the player can control them and during battles get to use thier powers on the evil that they are trying to defeat. Thier are also missions which only 2 characters are playable, sometime its harder becouse thiers usally a lower skilled character along with you. Overall the gameplay is fast paced, fun, actionpacked and very enjoyable.
Graphics: The whole massive worlds ar colorful and detailed to thier extent, the magic spells that are cast are elaberate and look spectacular, the characters are modeled in awsome detail. Overall visually stunning which makes the game enjoyable.
Sound: I have surround sound and i admit that thier are better games out thier on the xbox that use the sound better but this is still ok in sound.
Suggestions: This is a awesome game, also you do add a little RPG in a way of building up character and letting us choose how to make the character more advanced, so that was also cool but also letting the player fight in real time was cool. The next game should be online though, i see it easily being able to be played online using the massive worlds.

Overall: I like this game. I think it could have been less linear but a good fun game. Combines action with RPG elements to form a good game. Not very long though.
Gameplay: The skill feature is really neat and made combat fun. The ability to switch PC's while in a battle was done flawlessly. Combat is real time and not turn based which added to the fun. Very enjoyable gameplay. My only beef is that the game is very linear and doesn't allow for much exploring. I guess I have Morrowind to thank for that.
Graphics: Visually the game is nice. It does have a mario 64 look but the graphics are alot smoother and better because they come from the Xbox. Nice colors and backgrounds.
Sound: The sound is your typical RPG music. It might be catchy but after 5 hours straight is begins to take its effects. Surround doesn't help it much.
Suggestions: Make the game longer and less linear if possible. Other than that keep the combat system because it is great for a real time combact system.

Overall: overall very fun at first, gets to be repetative, (not in a bad way). very linear game play, although there is plenty of time to explore.

not many quests at all, probably about 10 game quests and 6 side quests. it took me 18 hours to beat the game. i was waiting and wainting for a good rpg to come out for xbox, however this one wasn't it. it was more of a mario 64 type game.. as for the rpg part about it is yes you can build characters up but there is only 4 things to build up, HP, essence (magic), power, skill. it has some cool characters though. a scientist type guy, he's got a jetpack that yo can use at certain points, a warrior, and magic chick, and a cat like woman that can climb walls with her claw like knifes. the game is worth buying but don't expect much rpg out of it.
Gameplay: very easy to play, you can customize the AI for the other people in your party, (you controll 4 like in brute force), to attack, defend, or retreat
Graphics: grpahics are slightly above average (comparing them to ninja gaiden being the best graphically). movies are pretty decent
Sound: hack / slash / BOOM, birds chirp, people talk. nothing to write home about, however!, the opening and closing credit music is pretty good
Suggestions: make it a more rpg!, more quests, more land, more, More, MORE of everything. this is a 1/4 rpg, 3/4 adventure.
