Overall: This is a simple game, but it's still worth playing - if you enjoy trying something different for a change.
Gameplay: All the controls worked well. I had problems with spinning after a double jump, but that's probably just related to my hands not listening to what my brain says.
The game started out really fun, but some of the later levels seemed rushed. The last one for example seems silly and pointless.
Graphics: For what it is, the graphics were nice enough. Occasionally you find yourself wishing they would have fancied it up a little more.
Sound: The sound was decent. The "lines" the characters said in the cut-scenes lacked emotion - as if they were reading their lines off a large cue-card. And Vince's one-liners - while funny - were limited. I think he had maybe a dozen one-liners. It would have made sense to have 3 or 4 times as many.
Suggestions: A sequel would be fine. Just make sure you have lots more funny one-liners for Vince to say, and try to make the puzzles a little more realistic.

Overall: voodoo vince is a slightly limited, but fun and innovative platformer...
use your voodoo powers to get through large and beautiful open levels...one of the few games where you are supposed to hurt yourself!! great stuff!!
Gameplay: gameplay is very unique, and boast a lot of innovation... there are some slight flaws, but the developers must be congratulated for choosing a different style of game... voodoo vince is a very fun, and different game to play.
Graphics: a unique visual style is boasted, but it does not seem to make use of all the xbox's power... however, what it does, it does very well... and voodoo vince is a very nice looking game.
Sound: sounds are detailed, and environments sound good... jokes are funny, but slightly repetative... but taking nothing away from what is a very nice sounding game.
Suggestions: live! play

Overall: One of the all time great adventure games.Gameplay is absolutely awesome with this game.Once you start you cant stop. There are some real challenges with this game which you can be stuck on for a while but arestill fun. You will really have alot of joy after finishing each action-packed level. All the villians are just sobreath taking not to mention voodo vince!
Gameplay: What more is there to say.I loved this game to death. But ofcourse you do get sick of it once youve played it, like all adventure games. But since it was one of my favourites i played it twice.I did actually think the game was a bit to short for my liking. But great story line that kept you on the edge of your seat.
Graphics: The visual was reasonable. Nothing special, nothing horrible. But i did enjoy watching the little characters move in which was very life like.
Sound: The sound was top notch, the best in the buisness. I was not expecting to hear that big manly voice from a little doll but it was funny. the backround music really suited the game and got you in the mood.
Suggestions: can you please make a sequal that goes for longer and make some levels harder.

Overall: Overall great game. Its an extremly weird storyline witch makes it so great. Gets old after a while though.
Gameplay: Gameplay is allright. It takes a while to figure out what your supposed to do in some levels.
Graphics: Awsome graphics. Smooth, and beautiful. Voodoo powers look very realistic, all the jewles have really smooth surfaces.
Sound: The sound is also "allright", all the attacks and jumps and moves are all realistic, but it could of had the ability to play your choice of soundtracks from your own CD's.

Overall: If you like platformers at all then you should play this game. Microsoft should have spent for money promoting this instead of other less popular titles.
Gameplay: This game is really easy to play and the voodoo element is used really well instead of just being a gimick. My only minor complaint was that the the "diving head attack" button being the same as the "swing from rope" button, causing me to accidentally plummet to my death instead of swinging to safety if I hit the left trigger a split second later than the button. Other than that this game is top-notch from start to finish. The graphics, sound, dialog and level-design are all excellent.
Graphics: The graphics in Voodoo Vince are very well done, and the levels are well designed. Unlike other games where it just gets repetive after a while, Voodoo Vince has enough variety in the environments and gameplay to keep you interested.
Sound: As with everything else, the sound is very good and the dialog and voice acting is really good. I really liked the sense of humour.
Suggestions: Excellent job guys!

Overall: An underadvatised gem of a platformer is a fitting description. Voodoo Vince is a fun and entertaining platformer that will keep you captivated for hours. With a mixture of moderate puzzle solving and classic platforming action, Vince gives Blinx a good run for his money, as the best Xbox exclusive platformer out there!
Gameplay: Gameplay will have you running jumping and kicking in the good old classic style, aswell as driving a mixture of vehicles and riding Rodeo on a rat... Don't ask. There is also a large puzzle solving element that ranges from the 'Get item 1 to open Door A' to some rather complex and entertaining puzzles. The best part of Voodo Vince that really sets it apart though, is the original idea of putting Vince through as much pain as possible, in order for these effects to hurt his enemies, in true Voodoo fashion. The range of Voodoo powers is gained by collecting them inside levels, as you progress, you will thus have the oportunity to get new powers. The game story actually revolves around Vince searching for his captured creator, Madame Charmaine, who guides you via a telepathic link. This provides the scene for some classic comedy, some of the events, and the simple statements made by Vince are hilarious. An excellent mix.
Graphics: The graphics use a cartoony style throughout, but don't be put off because the overall qualitie is pulled of very well. The detail is quite impressive and the nightime setting makes some excellent atmospheric lighting effects. The particle effects caused by Voodoo powers are also impressive as are the surprisingly detailed character models. Vince himself has perfectly visible stitching and has a range of animations for both his Voodoo powers and other things. One example is his ability to pull out his eye and bounce it on the floor or throw it in the air... Strange.
Sound: The soundtrack is made of catchy jazz tunes that play in a circle throughout each level. However their quite lighthearted and don't get repetative. The soundeffects are pretty good, and the voice overs are very well done. Vince is especially convincing as his voice seems to fit his jokes and personality perfectly.
Suggestions: The game has enough variety and features to have you wanting to play again. If a sequel is made it should be well received.

Overall: Well this is a very entertaining game! I mean run around, get yourself hurt in a million ways to hurt other things! I'm in! Although sometimes it gets to be a slight pain in the ass... Especially some of the jokes are so old...
Gameplay: Nothing spectacular, sometimes annoying. It keeps your fingers moving and I can never wait to push those triggers and unleash devastating voodoo power on stupid enemies!
Graphics: Quite good! I mean the sparkles and beads were very entertaining and the flashes from fire, and your voodoo powers were quite impressive. And also all the unrealistic characters looked very good in the way they're supposed to look.
Sound: Great! The loading music I hate, but the other music is great! I mean they have some jazz and what not! The voices suit the characters very well.
Suggestions: Great! Just come up with better jokes and I'll be happy!

Overall: Have you ever just wanted to hurt someone? Have you ever been walking down the street, seen some sort of monster, and thought seriously about killing it? Well, in Voodoo Vince all your dreams come true. Voodoo Vince, developed by Beep Industries and published by Microsoft Game studios, follows the adventures of Vince, a raggy voodoo doll trying to save his mistress, Madam Charmain, from an evil sorcerer.
The draw of this game is the ability to use Voodoo powers and inflict pain on Vince in order to hurt his enemies. The game also features traditional platforming elements, large levels, cool bosses, and loads and loads of humor.
The games presentation is quite excellent. Because the game takes place in New Orleans, the developers really went for a unique feel to the environemtns, trying to capture that New Orleans soul in every level. And at this, they have succeded.
The Graphics are very good, with excellent backgrounds and sweet character animaations and a ton of cool voodoo moves.
Overall, a must buy for platformer fans who have Xbox.
Gameplay: A fun, entertaining platformer with traditional platforming elements. Run, jump, hit, plus voodoo moves. Cool levels and end bosses. The randomness and generality of the voodoo moves is a negative.
Graphics: Great character models and environments. Sweet animations, with tons of varied voodoo moves. Good job here.
Sound: The music makes the game. This game is infused with sweet New Orleans soul music that makes me feel very voodooie.
Suggestions: good solid game. Nice work.
