Description

Take a band of gun-toting rebels - a robot, a madman, a mole and a criminal mastermind. Put them in a vividly stunning fantasy realm. Then give them an impossible mission - pulling off the biggest heist of all time in the middle of a war. All you have to do is battle your way through ugly grunts, wall-smashing Goliaths, evil monks, giant war machines and an army of psychopathic robots. But don't worry; you have plenty of ammo and absolutely no common sense. Victory is yours in 12,000 bullets or less.

Overall: Trash, what could have been innovative and funny, is now a down graded hunk of junk...stick to star wars Lucas Arts
Gameplay: Not really all that well, the controls are loose, and the action, while fast faced, is redundant at best.
Graphics: I wish these descriptions only had to be a minimum of one word, because only one comes to mind...crap.
Sound: Auctually good, this dosen't effect the overall score, but the voice acting is auctually quite nice.
Suggestions: Multiplayer, tighten up the controls, and update the graphics engine.

Overall: A great game...enough varied action to keep anyone entertained...from blowing stuff up, hilarious cutscnese, solid shooting and some light platforming...a great mix for a non-Star Wars Lucasarts game.
Gameplay: Very fun mix of alot of elements...turrent shooting, run and gun, town defense and once again the hilarious cutscenes make the gameplay fast and fun to behold.
Graphics: Since it was one of the earlier Xbox titles, the graphics sure show their age. Still, the in game play looks pretty good with colorful explosions and interesting weapon effects and no choppiness. Yet, the funny cutscenes, while just that are not much to look at by todays standards.
Sound: While no sweeping music or classical Star Warsesque sound from this Lucasarts title, the sort of Braveheart like scottish run and gun music seems an approriate blend to the sort of british style humor of this game. The voice acting is pretty good though.
Suggestions: A very good game...I ccan see where the possible influence for Mercenaries may have come from..."Blow stuff up...blow more stuff up...bow the living crap out of it..." Another title with the same humor but better graphics would be very welcome here.

Overall: Funny little game. It has a funny storyline with outrageous creatures.
The guns i pretty imaginative.
Gameplay: Good game play and funny cutscenes. Everyone should try it and if you have just a little sense of humor youll laugh your head off. No problems with camera angles.
Graphics: Visually good. It was fun to watch. The designs were absoblutely great. You could see everything. It is cool.
Sound: The mouths match with the voices. The music is good. There isn't much else to say.
Suggestions: Make alternate endings.

Overall: Armed and Dangerous was a surprise game for me - After level after (funny) level of gorgeous, immersive graphics and well-designed game play, I felt I got a 5 of 5 gaming experience for a good (recently lowered!) price.
Gameplay: The strength of the game is the large, beautifully crafted (and varied) collection of levels. The game is a tongue-in-cheek, violent, shoot-e adventure that kept me challenged (and lauging) from start to finish. The challenges vary from a 3rd person run-n-shoot, to manning a machine gun turret to mow down hordes of invaders. The variety of weapons and special attacks ensure that it's never quite the same game twice. Oh, and the cut-scenes are hilarious! (a nice reward for completing a level). I especially like the downloadable content (new levels) to keep the game fresh.
Graphics: Stunning! Some levels (forest) are so amazing, that I found myself running around just to look at everything! Varied environments and weather effects create a unique gaming experience.
Sound: good stuff! Sound effects are great and the british/irish voice acting really adds to the uniqueness of the geme
Suggestions: keep the downloads coming, boys!

Overall: This game is awsome! Fast-paced, easy-to-learn, laugh-out-loud fun. Get this game for sure! I love it!
Gameplay: You are a guy who goes around helping the peasants of the country and you are trying to stop the king. The guns, levels design, and characters are huge pluses in this game. The guns range from the Shark gun to machine gun, and the levels are pretty big. I have to say the the cut-scene are the funniest things that I have seen in any game. The jetpack was a huge plus too.
Graphics: The graphics were great. The levels look splendid and the bullets and guns looked great also. I think that the cut0scene could have been a little better, but I'm not complaining.
Sound: The sounds and voices are awsome! The guns and screaming in the game are great and the voices sound realistic too.
Suggestions: Co-op and/or multiplayer of somesort. Make it a little longer. Other than that, you guys are funny people with great ideas!

Overall: A light hearted shooter that's worth it's weight in gold. Absolutely excellent in so many ways (cutscenes, gameplay, weapons, characters). Take a look at this game if you want to see something unique that will have you laughing out loud at times and as focused as much as HALO makes you become at times. It's a roller coaster ride that is worth taking. Great game!
Gameplay: Great, easy to pick up and really fun to use the various weapons. This game is clearly a product of a smart and witty development team. While it's no HALO, what is? Nothing has even come close to HALO so why try to reinvent the wheel vs taking a different angle on a shooter and make it funny along with being intense? This game has the best cut scenes in regard to the content and the most unusual weapons I have ever seen. It is truly unique from a thinking persons stand point and if you like dry or witty humor this game is for you.
Graphics: Pretty good. This would be the games weak point in my opinion especially on the XBOX. They did not take full control of the graphic capability that they could have but I am not convinced that they did not do that on purpose to give it more of a raw edge. The back ground areas are really nice, the characters look pretty good, the movement of them is pretty good also so to me it's not an issue.
Sound: Solid. No complaints and the music is excellent. The celtic tunes that blare in the background really add a dimension to the game that I really liked.
Suggestions: I already beat the game in about 3 days of off and on play. There are more missions to get via download so that's the angle to take. The game is a keeper for sure and another installment with this group of characters is a must. The guys who made this should be commended.

Overall: Armed & Dangerous is a action packed, hilarious game. that many will find a great game to own. while some levels may not be the type to play over & over, you just cant find yourself putting down the controller before you finish the game.
Gameplay: While some people may take a while to get use to the control setup i found it great. its almost like a first person shooter setup.
Graphics: while some levels may look a little bland, most look colorfull & exciting. the characters are also look great.
Sound: the voice acting is pretty good. although the main characters iris (or maybe scottish im not sure) sounds real sometimes, other times it cheesy.
Suggestions: Next time add Multiplay & maybe even XB Live to add some more fans. i know id buy a sequel if it had some multiplay.

Overall: This is one of the best shooters on Xbox to date! From the moment I put this game into my Xbox I have loved it. It is a great 3rd person shooter with humor.
Gameplay: The whole premises of the game is cool. You and your 3 buddies are wanted for doing something and you kill veryone that comes after you. And there are a lot of enemies. This game has some kick !&%$@#* weapons. Like the land shark bomb that sends a shark in the ground and then it comes out and eats your enemies. The cutscenes are hilarious.
Graphics: This is one part in the game where things could be better. They just dont look that great. Need more polish.
Sound: The sound is awesome. I love the voice acting. Everyone has a Scottish accent.
Suggestions: Make Armed and Dangerous 2 with multiplayer. This game would hvae rocked even more with co-op. This game was made for co-op. And throw in some 4 player deathmatch. And finally polish the graohics and you have a masterpiece!!! Thank you for making this game!

Overall: God I wish Planet moon gave me just one more reason to own this game. The Single player is awesome great story great fun. Downloadable content is promising but I need to see the downloads, until I buy it. A definite rental because its such a great single player game
Gameplay: Run and shoot and jump and fly. So simple yet so complicated because the way they send in troop formations the crossfire can get hecktick. Its so much fun even though you basically have only a few enemy types it doesn't matter. The story is great the humor is great I look forward to playing more yet shutter at the thought of an ending. This is why planet moon needs to come out with som e good DL content so I can give myself and excuse to buy it.
Graphics: Visual I dont care about the stinkin visual I can see the enemy and I can see my bullets hit the enemy and I can see myself and I can see the ground and the sky. Sure it aint no boobs bouncin DOAXBV =) but its good enouph to make me write this review about it.
Sound: ya again guns and rockets and explosions and jetpacks its all in there and its all good. Gotta love the one liners.
Suggestions: create some type of Random level generator with options like jet pack and turret and even get some vehicles in there like Giants had. Then let us perhaps co-op take on hordes of enemies through live or something the single player is great but I gotta tell ya it needs just a little something beyond the single player to motivate people like me to buy it because I really want to buy it new, but I just can't not until the DL content comes out at least. Good game start on another. Thanks.
