Become Dr. Darien Dane or his assistant Victoria Sutton, as you investigate the mysterious disappearance of an ancient sacred Egyptian statue from the British Museum. This unique statue is protected by an evil curse that resides within it, that causes madness, or violent death, to all those who come in contact with it. The Curse manifests itself by raising the dead and animating diabolical objects. It is up to you to find and return the cursed statue to the pyramid that it should never have been taken from. Are you up for the challenge and the race against time?

Overall: A statue is gone. Theres a big museum. There are monsters. You have weapons. Must find statue. And thats just a taste of the deeply probing storyline.
Gameplay: Curse: Eye Of Isis the most aptly named game I have ever played. It is a scare fest from the moment you load it up till the moment you shut it down. You will indeed feel cursed. How does the game accomplish this you ask? By dropping you into a original story of voodoo and death? By cranking out some of the most horrific monsters ever to spook you console? Nope. That would be too simple. Instead the developers rub off there "Curse" on you by giving you a graceful movement of a tank. A very rusty tank. By Handing you a map, that keeps no locations on it. Scared yet? Theres more. Curse: EOI also features the lamest targeting system since Scrabble: The Video game. And nothing will freak you out more that killing the exact same monsters over and over. What will monster No.1 do this time I wonder?? Ha! He'll just stand there and take the punishment I give him. Well played monster No.1. This is the game for anyone that thought the first Resident Evil for the PS1 was the peek of games, and just wants to play it again, on their Xbox. I bought Curse: Eye Of The Isis on a whim, and I have indeed got what I paid for.
Graphics: Not as bad as you'd think for a low level game like this. And it just gets better once you are lulled to sleep dullness of the gameplay
Sound: Basic footfalls in a empty museum, moans from falling creatures, and the slow popping of your guns. The speech isn't bad, with decent lip-dubbing.
Suggestions: I ask you to please send me and priest with a copy of the old testament so that I may be freed of the demon your game has awoken.

Overall: Well, it's certainly not scary, that's for sure. The game takes you through 3 basic areas, which look entirely different but all have basically the same premise; get to the end and kill the bad guys. Not such a horrible game as the previous reviewer made it out to be, but it is rather repetitious.
Gameplay: The gameplay isn't so bad. True, you do move incredibly slowly; which is a pain when trying to escape from the boss characters, and true the aiming system is a little annoying; with no real way of be able to switch between two or more enemies, but it's an enjoyable game most of the time. The big thing I found that wasn't so great was the lack of story/plot, and actual difficulty and length of the game. I rented it for 2 days, and beat it long before it was due back. The plot leaves a little to be desired, with the ending really not making any sense at all (the final boss was so easy too?). The control of the character got some getting used to as well, because as the camera changed, the direction control changed too, until you let go of the button and started again (ie: You'd be walking to the left, the camera would change so it would appear you were walking to the right, but your control stick would still be pushing left, so you'd have to stop walking, push right to continue in the same direction, and thereby reset your control scheme).
Graphics: The game ran very smoothly, with so-so texture detail and models. I liked how smoothly everything ran when moving around, and when the camera swung to a different location. In a sort of visual way, the box art made the game out to be a lot more terrifying than it really was, so I was a little disappointed there.
Sound: your guide Abdul always had the lamest things to say to you as he appeared various times throughout each level. Things like "you must find 'so-and-so'", when you've been spending the entire level doing just that. The voice actors probably weren't really English, and Abdul's voice actor probably wasn't really Arabic, but they did an ok job of it I guess. The screams were pretty horrible. characters were always saying things that were totally idiotic or completely apparent, or incredibly dorky sounding (like 'good gracious!' when a monster appears). pretty blah...
Suggestions: Make it scarier; If this were a movie it'd be rated PG-13. Write the story so it makes sense, and to you voice actors, give a little more emotion when the times ask for it.
