NHL Rivals 2004

Overall: Overall this is THE best game if you own a Xbox. The graphics are top noch, online games are the best I could have ever dreamed and the gameplay has a ton of neat features.

Gameplay: Tons of different controls such as a drop pass, pivot, dump, and also a new passing system where you aim the pass which helps a ton for cycling.

Graphics: Here is where the game shines. The ice textures is simply amazing. Reflections are the best to date and the players look good themselves.

Audio: This is one part that needs help. The commentary is average, the whistle is way off, but the crowd-custom soundtracks-and on ice sounds make up for this. The horn could also use some customizing.

Suggestions: Fix the whistle, goalies coming out of the net and going down in the butterfly, line changes, but leave that amazing pond hockey online play ALONE!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Medal of Honor: Frontline

Overall: A great WWII sim. You are a secret agent that is trying to disrupt the Germans. Overall I like controlling just one person.

Gameplay: Shooting is pretty easy but aiming is somewhat time consuming. Overall there is a lot of strategy that is needed.

Graphics: The graphics are very solid. The faces look very real and structures that are shown from far look very real.

Audio: The sound is very neat. Obviously they took a lot of time in this part since every sound is so unique.

Suggestions: Try to make more checkpoints so you don't have to always redo missions.

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Project Gotham Racing

Overall: This is a real neat racing game. It is different from what I am used to (Gran Turismo) and I have to say I like it for the better.

Gameplay: There are several different levels to this game. You can have races, time trials, and also a "trick fest".

Graphics: The graphics are very solid in this game. The cars look awesome and the outside buildings and such look great.

Audio: Sound is pretty basic and is in the same league as most other racing games. You have the squealing tires and the breaking and also the engines can be heard while switching gears.

Suggestions: Live?

Overall Score: 9.0 / 10 Halo: Combat Evolved

Overall: Great 3rd person shooter. Has many big levels and different enemies.

Gameplay: The controls are sort of hard to get used to but after you master them it is smooth sailing. S controller is better too IMO

Graphics: The graphics are very solid in this game but not quite as up to par with the big shots, ala EA so I give them a 4.5

Audio: NOthing too out of the ordinary here. Basic sounds with a few etra unexpected sounds which add realis,

Suggestions: Live, you fools, LIVE!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Overall: A very stealy game that is somewhat similar to MGS2. You are a secret agent and you most likely know the rest.

Gameplay: Gameplay is way too stealthy for me. Although there were some action parts, hiding and avoiding guards is just plain boring.

Graphics: Graphics were very good expect for the fact that you can be 2 inches away from a person and a shawdow makes them not detect you.......

Audio: Nothing too special here. Some good sounds with the guns and the objects you can shoot but other than that, nothing to write home about.

Suggestions: Stealth? We don't want no f'ing stealth!

Overall Score: 8.0 / 10 Outlaw Golf

Overall: This game was a true steal for me. Just $15 for the absolute best golf game available. This blows EA 2003 out of the water.

Gameplay: The swings are much more realistic then I would have ever thought. The ball realism is very solid too such as the spin or draw.

Graphics: I absolutely love the courses. So much variety and so many different shades and grass colors. The sun also was done well.

Audio: I love just smashing a ball off the tee and hearing that beautiful ping. This part of the game makes it great.

Suggestions: Live for OG NOW I can't wait for OG2.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 NHL 2K3

Overall: First off I returned this game because it stunk. NHL2003 is a lot better. Pretty good game, not great. Poor graphics but solid gameplay. Can play franchise mode or Sega Sports Challenge.

Gameplay: Very smooth, goalies have awesome saves. Intro is very cool but they don't play the whole anthem. The pinning option works very well, too. A little hard to score, but what you gonna do?

Graphics: Graphics are just plain bad. :( Goalie leg pads look very bad and the sides are jagged. Ice looks nice when you skate on it. GRAPHICS STINK!

Audio: Nothing special. Basic sound, goal horns are sweet. Skating sounds are extremely repetitive (sp?) But thats about it; taking a slap shot sounds kinda like a gun shot. :(

Suggestions: Improve graphics and make the players bigger.

Overall Score: 7.0 / 10 NHL 2003

Overall: This game is great! I started out buying NHL2K3 but I actually didn't like it at all. EA Sports has done a great job with this game. Don't listen to the hype of NHL2K3 like I did; it's nothing to write home about (NHL2K3).

Gameplay: The gameplay is solid. Goalie make stunningly realistic saves; even better than NHL2K3, IMO. The players skate very smoothly and all shots look like the real shot.

Graphics: Here is where EA takes over. The graphics in this game are unreal. The pads and mask of the goalies are awesome. Ed Belfour's mask looks super cool; the eagles are drawn perfectly and there is a little depth perception betwen his face and the actual mask. All the players look great too. The rinks look like the real thing and the ice reflects better than NHL2K3.

Audio: The sound is fine in this game. Nothing that makes you notice it but noting so bad you thing it sucks. The music is pretty good for a sports game; everytime a new song comes on the title, artis, and soundtrack pop up in a little box in the corner.

Suggestions: ONLINE!

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10 NFL 2K3

Overall: First of all I was a long time Madden guy with NFL2k3 has switched me over. This game is probably one of the best games I have ever played let alone the best sports game. The graphics are unbelievable. The gameplay looks so real you think that your watching a game on TV. It also has some nice featurs like Sega Challenge where you play games and then get a code and put it in on the Sega site to compare with others. You also have franchise mode and you can save your replays which is real cool.

Gameplay: The players look so real and move so realistic it is amazing. They do the same things as the real players like fix their helmets, toss the ball around, and they also do tons of different celebrations.

Graphics: The graphics are outstanding. The helmets have reflections of the stadium on them and the ground shows shadows. Replays show the ball in rotation and some players have mouthpieces that look so real I wonder how they do it.

Audio: The sound in the game is also very good. Every hit is bone crunching and there is also a lot of trash talking. Hits have a nice crisp crunch to them and kicking the ball also makes a realsitic thud.

Suggestions: Keep it up. More defensive plays.

Overall Score: 10.0 / 10
