Kameo Elements of Power was supposed to set the Xbox 360 community on its ear. I don?t know if it quite accomplished that task, but is the game anywhere near the hype that surrounded it."

Overall: At first i didnt want to get this game cause it kinda looked like a kids game to me. But when my friend was playing it at a Video game party it actually looked pretty cool. I thoughts it was awesome how i had to change into diffrent creatures to go throught certain obstacles. But this game had terrible AI the monsters just ran into obvios traps and it kinda took away from my experience.
Gameplay: Easy control Scheme makes this good for beggining gamers. Good classic story line of conquering evil always makes a good game. This time it just happens to be her sister who is the evil one. But it was still cool.
Graphics: Great graphics alround. Load times took a little bit but other than that the graphics were fine. On pummel weed the detail on the plant was amazing, it showed so much detail on the plant it was almost as if it was real. The other characters had a good look to them but something was just missing from them.
Sound: From the characters speaking all the way down to the tiniest rock falling the sound was perfect in every single aspect. I really didnt hear anything wrong with the sound but the music in the background was really refreshing.
Suggestions: Make a second one and dont change a thing the game was awesome!!!

Overall: This is a fun game and unlike any other offering on the 360 so far. It may look kiddish but trust me, I'm 32 and I had fun with this game.
Gameplay: Your a cute little female elf that has the power to change into 10 different elemental creatures each with their own distinct abilities that are required to get past certain spots in the game. The game wasn't all that difficult on normal, but I would say it was just right for me and I thoroughly enjoyed the nearly 10 hour romp through the game's lively world. The story is forgettable and basically just gives the linear progression of the game with minor cohesion. This game is different from all the other current titles on the system making it a nice change of pace from all the shooters (don't get me wrong I love shooters), and sports titles. If your looking for something different pick this title up and it's only 30 bucks now.
Graphics: It looks fantastic with a large open world for exploring. Each of the areas is distinct from the others and nothing ever repeats. The draw distance is far. The first thing that made me smile from ear to ear was when I first ventured out into the large area that connects all the levels together called the Badlands. Here 100s (maybe 1000s) of Orcs and Elves battle constantly and it seems like you can see forever into the distance. That's next generation graphics. The frame rate is steady and the game just looks gorgeous. These first generation 360 games look wonderful, the second and third generation titles are going be incredible.
Sound: Music is ok, sound effects are good. The best thing is the elemental creatures they make some interesting grunts and noises. The voice acting on the other hand is somewhat bland. Especially the woman who voices Kameo, jeez that she just plain sucks.

Overall: Kameo is a very fun and addicting game. The addition of Co-Op play over Xbox Live adds a lot of replay value to this great game.
Gameplay: The ability to change into different elemental warriors is a very unique but very good feature. The controls take a little bit to get used to, and I thought the opening level could have shown a little more of how to use the different warriors available.
Graphics: The different elemental warriors are very well done. The environments are cartoonish but realistic at the same time, if that makes any sense.

Sound: The background music keeps you sucked into the game and the voice-overs are very well done.

Overall: When orginally getting the xbox 360, I was thinking Perfect Dark Zero was going to be the key game for me, but Kameo came out to be my choice. Nice epic story, nice Variety of different warriors(which adds plenty to the longetivity of the game) compared to past games like Zelda, ect. The game has great graphics, sound that fits this epic adventure, and great gameplay(huge battles, variety of eneimies)
Gameplay: This is what I love most about the game above all. Great gameplay, great variety of elements and different techniques to use in battle. They didn't just put different elements just for the sake of putting them in.(meaning not one weak element you never want to be)
Graphics: Great beautiful worlds, from everything to the grass to the characters themselves. Definitely one of Xbox 360s top graphics for 1st generation.
Sound: I am glad this game has way better sound than perfect dark zero. It fits the game to a T. The sound throughout the game is very similar would be the only weakness.
Suggestions: Just make another interesting story with great battles, add a couple new elements = 100+ of fun!

Overall: Kameo is an elf princess whose jealous sister has aligned herself with trolls and imprisoned her family. Kameo must use a book called the wotnot book to gather the elemental warriors and use their powers to free her family. Eventually she will have to face Thorn (the troll king) and her sister. Rare really hit a home rum with Kameo: Elements of Power. It is one of the best launch titles released for the xbox 360.
Gameplay: Kameo?s power is her ability to use elemental warriors. There are ten elemental warriors who have different abilities. The elementals used are fire, water, rock, ice, and plant. There are two elemental warriors for each category. Each elemental warrior has been imprisoned inside a shadow troll. Shadow trolls reside in the shadow realm. There are entrances to the shadow realm in every level. They look like wells or manholes. There are sometimes bats flying around that lead you to the location of one of these entrances. The presence of bats is a sure sign that a shadow troll is around. Once inside the shadow realm, Kameo must use light energy from lost souls to defeat the shadow troll. Once the shadow troll is defeated, an elemental sprite is released. An elemental sprite is kind of a baby elemental warrior. The sprite enters Kameo and immediately grows into an elemental warrior. Kameo uses the abilities of these elemental warriors to defeat a variety of enemies and make her way through the levels to boss characters who usually are holding a member of her family. For example, Chilla is one of the elemental warriors Kameo will free. Chilla has the ability to throw ice spears. He also has the ability to swat enemies and smack enemies up into the air and impale them on the ice spikes on his back. Once they are impaled on his back, Chilla may use them as a club against other enemies or throw them like an ice spear. Like all elemental warriors, Chilla can gain advanced abilities by eating elemental fruit. Two key items in the game are elemental fruit and elixir of life. Elemental fruit are used to give elemental warriors advanced abilities. The elixir of life allows your health bar to permanently increase. These items are found hidden in levels throughout the game. They are also sometimes given to you as a reward for completing a task or side quest. They may also be purchased with runes. Runes are the money used in Kameo and they are found in chests, urns, or other containers throughout the game. Kameo frees her family members by defeating the bosses to levels throughout the game. When Kameo has freed all the elemental warriors from the shadow trolls and freed all of her family members held by the different boss characters, she will have to face her evil sister and the troll king, Thorn. The gameplay for the most part is very chronological. There's not a lot of wandering around you can do. You have some side quests, but they are always in the same level. In the main world, you might have to come back to finish a quest because you don't have the elemental warrior you need to do the job. The gameplay overall is one of the game's many strengths. Kameo: Elements of Power plays like a champion.
Graphics: The visual aspects of Kameo are nothing short of amazing. The environments are breathtakingly well done. The characters are crisp and created with exquisite detail. When viewed on an HDTV, the picture is so clear that it looks as if you could reach right into the screen and pluck different items right out of the game. The detail given to the elemental warriors and the boss characters are particularly impressive. Rare really outdid themselves visually.
Sound: The music that accompanies the game is extremely well done. I found myself whistling one of the tunes at work and a coworker asked me if it was from Lord of the Rings. He was pretty surprised when I told him it was from a video game. The sound effects are nicely done as well. You can actually hear activity going on behind you through the rear speakers, so 5.1 is done right on this game. The soundtrack is worthy of a major motion picture and really gets you into the spirit of the game.
Suggestions: This is a really complete game. The only suggestion I can make is perhaps a battle mode for xbox live. I think using the different elemental warriors to fight other gamers on xbox live would give the game a whole new level of replay value. Also, a little note: Fire beats ice. When you have elemental warriors, water shouldn't fight water, ice shouldn't fight ice. Fire beats ice, water beats fire, etc, etc.
