Although it?s not often that we think of vampires as being good and helpful to humans, BloodRayne is the exception. Between the two world wars her goal is to kill the enemy Nazi soldiers and the horrific creatures they create in order to save humanity from various supernatural threats."

Overall: This game took me by surprise. It's fun in an extremely simple way. This is a great game to just veg out on, because there is little thinking required to complete it. Overall a very good game especially at the current prices it can be found on the internet for.
Gameplay: This game is overly simple yet deeply addicting. Your a hot chick who's half vampire and half human looking for revenge on her vampire father. She gets drafted into the Brotherhood, a secret society of do gooders. The game starts off kinda dumb fighting these spider creatures, but after getting past that you get to take on the Nazis and the game gets real ily all you do is kill Nazis, but its the ways you get to kill them that makes it fun. You could just shoot people, which is great, but its a lot more fun to hack the enemies into pieces and even though it gets very repetive it just never gets boring tearing Nazis apart. There is even a good implementation of the Matrix slow motion effect that unlike other games you can use non-stop. My only major gripes are the ending is on the lame side and the game is very short, I beat it in under 7 hours. This game is another one that definitely deserves it's Mature rating. The main character likes to cuss here and there, oh and the gore is hardcore, talk about dicing and slicing. If you like mindless hacking and slashing this game is for you.
Graphics: The visuals are very good. The framerate is very solid and the animation is above average. The blood effects are fantastic and some of the best I've seen in a game, you can change the color of an entire hallway to blood red in a short time. There are some well done entertaining CG sutscenes spread through the game. The downside is the facial animations are robotic in the cutscenes done with the game engine but thats my only real complaint.
Sound: The voice acting is horrible for the main characters. The only good voice acting is of the Nazis screaming in pain or for help. The sound effects are pretty good down to the sucking noise of draining someone of their blood.
Suggestions: Maybe some co-op multiplayer.

Overall: bloody!! i love this game, lots of action when enemies around, and also nice moves too, very fun but seems a little repeititve
Gameplay: you go and fight these nazis who are trying to collect relics and use them to dominate the world... i think... but you get to use your long blades and slice body parts off!! and you have slow motion moves and blood rage attacks!
Graphics: graphics arent too good, seems like ps2 kind of graphics, but the character model of bloodrayne was kinda good
Sound: well... the sounds of the guns all seem kind empty, but good enough for action packed pace. i think they need to amplify the sound effects a little bit more
Suggestions: have more variety in it... its kinda repititive after a while, but the blood and body parts flying everywhere is nice! other than that good job, and i cant wait for bloodrayne 2!

Overall: a sexy looking vampire named
DRAYNE,not bad,big selection of weapons and fun game,i love killing all those nazys, specially the biggest of all,it,s a different game with a lots of action .
Gameplay: gameplay is good, not the best vampire
game, but fun to play,i gave it to my
brother,because i could,t kill the last two
bosses, well i did kill the bison looking
nazy, but i could kill that thing that was
groing and groing,i don,t remember the
name of that boss.
Graphics: it look very ps2 to me,but that,s fine with me,because i am not keeping this game
for me,it belongs to my brother now,so he will get to enjoy it
Sound: terrible, nothing special or different,it play the same over and over,i hope majesco
make a better sequel,so we can keep it.
Suggestions: i don,t care for this game,i am a fps addict,i love shooting and action games, but i don,t like this game very much,i am sure there,s people out there
who loves bloodrayne,so i hope majesco make these games better next time

Overall: Extremley good graphics and control, an amazing, 3rd person type of Wolfenstein game with all the nazis and monsters and what not.
Gameplay: very, very good camera and player control, with tons of different fighting moves and use of real weapons from time. Amazing control, easy to get used to it.
Graphics: Best yet. amazing visuals on differnt ranks of nazis, and real tanks and planes from that time, plus all kinds of crazy monsters of the Wolfenstein variety.
Sound: Sounded pretty good, nothing amazing, but I mean come on. this isn't some kinda kids dance pad game or nothin like that. think it has some kinda cool dark orchestra type music.
Suggestions: Make another one!

Overall: an overall ok Vampire game with pretty cool & Bloody weapons. jumping on a soldier & sucking him dry is auctually quite enjoyable!
Gameplay: some parts are tricky but for the most part Blood Rayne is a fun game. battiling zombies, humans & other vampires is pretty fast paced action which is always good
Graphics: the graphics are pretty darn good. some characters had more work done on them than others. come out sometimes a little bland in outside areas.
Sound: hearing you suck the blood out of someone is auctually REALLY COOL. but it does kinda sound like youre trying to get the last bit of a soda sound. U KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

Overall: Game totally took me by suprise. I bought it as a budget item and was blown away. Money VERY well spent. Gameplay was right on and the game is downright FUN.
Gameplay: Awesome. With abilities and moves, the weapon system, blood rage, etc, etc. Just perfect. I am not a big fan of the 3rd person perspective "stand and pivot" movement instead of strafing, but that is at least an optional setup (which I discovered much later). The vamp abilities were just the coolest and totally gave you the feeling that you were 'all that' vampiric badness.
Graphics: Not bad. Graphics were up to snuff if not exceptional. Mood was portrayed appropriately and everything was done generally well. Also, a lot of good imagination went into some of the settings and came through well in the art. Damage is realistic and the character animations are cool (even if the juggies were over done a bit).
Sound: Good. Weapons were realistic as were other effects. Ambient sounds were effective. Real nice how sound slowed down with celerity along with everything else. All in all, good.
Suggestions: Just bring on the sequel. Maybe make the combos require a little more skill to pull off and offer more.

Overall: This is another under rated game. It has gameplay that resembles Max Payne yet it adds its own finesse. The graphics areabout par and the sound is decent. Yet, there is little to no popular knowledge of the game. Maybe its extreme violent nature is preventing it from being recognized.
Gameplay: Great. From side flips to backflip kicks the game seems to have all the battle options you could want. Not too mention the vampire abilities. Tons of guns, the ability to learn knew hand to hand combat moves and sucking blood. This is probably the games biggest selling point. The story is pretty interesting too.
Graphics: Bounce.
This is a fairly nice game to look at. Well done character models and decent environments make this game on par with other Xbox games. Unfortunately I think par should be alot higher. There are some nice visuals in the game though.
Sound: Good. From blood sucking slurps to shotgun blasts all of the noises are well represented. The music was decent and added to the atmosphere. More adequacy in this department.
Suggestions: Some polishing up in the graphics and sound department would set this game apart from the crowd. Multiplayer could have been fun too, hard to implement, probably, but most likely fun in the end.

Overall: I really didn't expect much from this game when i bought it. All i knew is it featured a hot vampire and that was good enough for me, oh and the commercials on the T.v made it look horribly bad. But once i put it into the x-box i was impressed. So far i really really love this game. lots of blood and lots of violence, which is OK by me. But this is definitly not a childrens game. LOL but really, i love it.
Gameplay: Gameplay... well the controlls are very very confusing at first, but then you pretty much start to get the hang of it. My only issue is i dont know how to hold the controller, since moving Rayne involves the other joystick, not the one im used to for all my other 3rd person action games. But other than that, its great. She moves great, its feels great, its not slow like other x-box games (*cough cough X-men Next Dimension *cough cough*)
Graphics: Visuals are awesome. Everything is greatly animated and graphics are good. The blood is very fake looking, and they could have done a better job on the faces of most of the "victoms" or "villans" But otherswise i am impressed.
Sound: The sound sucks. Sorry but it does. I can barley hear what the charectors are saying, so then i have to turn up the tv, but then the music and SFX are too loud. But the music is great, but the sound FX are very fake sounding.
Suggestions: Make another one, it would be kewl. Like i said up there, try to put more detail in the faces (except Raynes, hers is perfect) and maybe add more chest on the women of the game. (like.. cough cough, DOA Vollyball cough cough)

Overall: I wasn't expecting much when I popped this one into the 'box, but this game simply blew me out of the water. I was thoroughly impressed with BloodRayne, and enjoyed playing it immensely. I was surprised by how many unique nifty features were packed into one game. The slow down motion, heat sensor vision, the guns, the knives, the sucking blood, the "sniper" eye, the blood rage, etc... were all very cool features. Not to mention that BloodRayne herself if the sexiest character ever to be put into pixels.
Gameplay: The controls were simple to pick up, and it only takes about 15 minutes of playing to master. The sheer number of ways to slice, shoot, and suck your way through the bad guys keeps this game very interesting. The levels varied and some are definately more fun than others. I didn't care too much for the "pod" levels.
Graphics: This is the only slight downside of the game. It was slightly PS2-ish looking, and I really think it could have been slightly better. There is a lot of diverse settings, but I would have liked to see just a couple that were brighter and had more color. The cinematics were good, with one in particular that was extremely cool (near the middle of the game).
Sound: The voice acting was good, and the rest of the sounds were fine. The music was non-intrusive and fit the game.
Suggestions: Tell me there will be a BloodRayne 2 with even better graphics.

Gameplay: I think that the game moves along really well and you dont really have to do anything to repetitive. i also think this game is one of the best videogames ever
Graphics: this game looks really good, and its just the greatest thing to kill somebody and watch the blood fly everywhere, or see an arm get cut off, the best part is Rayne h..sexy vampire chick
Sound: sounds good to me, sounds like a videogame whut does it really matter, just sit back relax and kill

Overall: The gameplay is great, takes about 15 minutes to get used to it(mainly because of the auto-tighrope feature) I love the drink blood button. If you love video games, Vampyres and sexy woman... BUY THIS GAME NOW. It's a must have for any vampires game lovers
Gameplay: The controle are real easy, and open in choice of controle style. So It doesn't matter what type of controlle set-up you prefer, This game delivers. The vampire style views are the bomb.
Graphics: The graphics are very good... but again like most games that have come out for the xbox, don't really make you say "wow look at those graphics"... but It will make you say "wow that sexy vampire chic is really brutal". The full motion are nice...
Sound: I really was impressed by the sounds of this game. I just love being able to hear a nazi scream "get this b**ch off me" and hear the sounds of zombie moan as their blood runs out. As for the music, Well the music in games doesn't really touch me anymore... so the music was proper for the game. well suited but not worth mentionning unless someone ask me about it.
Suggestions: you guys should have more codes and be more specific about their uses. Games like this thrive on 0saves and codes. Plus their's defenitely a lack of chapters... What the F*ck ... I beat this game in two modes(easy and hard) in one day... my first.

Overall: Its a half vampire/half human chick who is fighting the nazis who are in themselves creating supernatural beings. HUH??!!!?? Well who cares about all that it makes for a good game. Plus they used the F word so it gets some brownie points with me. I'd like to see that more often.
Gameplay: Those of you who whine about it going too fast go buy a ps2 cuz i dont want my games to be slow. Whoever wrote a review saying it's too fast obviously havent played the game for more than 15 minutes. Once you get to the second level you get slow motion. This is where the games true beauty lies. Running by a nazi in slow-mo and hacking a hand off. Its a warm feeling. The combos are cool and you can build on them. The goriness really adds to this title. There is also a blood rage which is slowing down eveyonelse but rayne and she goes crazy with her blades (highest possible dismemberment without the code). Alot of people are overlooking the groundbreaking fact that you can fire at 2 targets....HELLO!!! also the 180 in midair and dual targetting just plain makes a kid look like a show off. There are multiple ways of feeding on people one of whice you can continue to fire. The sheer amount of guns is very cool along with the coice to pick different types. Some of the bosses are tedious slashing though. However most of them require skill and have some sort of weakness or mystery about them. Once you beat this game you want more. If you can beat Beliar.
Graphics: I dont care what any one says if you have ever seen a game with that many ranging particles complete with decent looking blood, multiple enemies, and ability to hack limbs off without slowdown (unless of course you prefer as i do to do it in slow mo) this is the game that does it. Wall textures arent perfect but they fit the whole 1930's thing. The character models are smooth and never break (once again unless you chose to break them) when rayne feeds you can really see the detailin her outfit.
Sound: Slow motion screaming nazis Need i say more. As for the music, it's pretty good when it needs to be. I personally block it out or turn it down to hear them scream.
Suggestions: This game has one dissapointment.. it ends. I just recently beat this game. I was hoever happy with the hellaciously long game. It's god for an action games length ..Also complete control over what weapons to chose. Other than that Duh ...the sequal...(henced by the ending)

Overall: In BloodRayne, you embody the role
of a young lady born has a vampire,
but in fact she was a half human and
a half vampire. Her special ability is to use her s-e-x appeal, ruthless charm and lethal style. Before she meets the secret society which takes care of the supernatural business,
the young lady was in search of
her father who was the only vampire
in her family and probably the only
immortal. The main goal in BloodRayne is to eliminate two list of german's officer who want to rule the world with some mysterious artefact, sound repetitive but it wasn't. Finally, that was the best game i ever rented in the last twenty weeks but it's not a must have because the lasting appeal was really short, like fifteen hour on
normal and i done it. After one time i was unable to do it again, not because i dislike it, like you saw in my previous sentence, but i saw the major part of the game and they aren't something to unlock at the end. Before i officialy start my
review, i must say that normally
i take care of the ign's and gamespot's review but this time i was disapointed about their opinion. So let's procede to my review !
Gameplay: Agent BloodRayne, to defend herself, has silver blades attached to her wrists and she able to cut really hard with them. Also she can use weapon because she is an expert with sub machine gun and rifles. All these thing look great but it's wasn't the best part. In my mind there is something to feel the true sense of the game and it's was the gore, there so many violence in this game that even any game could have done better in this section. The most violent part of the game is when you are in a BloodLust, the screen is on slow-motion and with your blades you are able to cut in multiple piece a complete army of german's soldier. Finally, i must said that BloodRayne was a mixture of all the others vampire game that i was able to play on x-box ( Blade 2, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Blood Omen 2 ) and the part they introduce in the game for Blood Omen 2 was the skill system ( Zoom vision, matrix time, walkthrough vision ), for Buffy it was the fun i got to play it and for Blade 2 it's was the spectacular characteristic of the character. Finally, i did not forget to mention that she can feed herself with people or monster ( a hook can help her sometimes ).
Graphics: The graphic were on the right step for an x-box game and i didn't even know that where a playstation 2 port. After i found the true, i though that this game has been increase for the x-box version but it wasn't. Then i check the video, omg ( Oh my god ! ) there were more beautiful than The Lord Of The Ring : The Fellowship or Halo : Combat Evolved. The model were quite good too especially the main character ( the sexiest character ever done in a video game ).
Sound: The voice acting was incredible and the sound, like always, was great. Even if, i didn't got my custom soundtrack or a good beat, i was satisfied a lot for the music.
Suggestions: Make it longer !

Overall: Take some cliche plot, throw in a sexy vampire, add in buckets of blood and gore, and top with several tight shots of bouncing boobies and your have yourself a remarkable addictive game. Although, the game falls short in several areas, it proves to have the right stuff where it counts.
Gameplay: This is where the game shines. Player movement is smooth, Switching between abilities weapons via the directional pad and white/black buttons is a no-brainer. The only drawback is the slighlty unatural control configuation (the IN-ability to customize it beyond the standard A,B,C setup).
More of the good: A tried as the plot is (killing nazis, fighting zombies and mutant badies), the gameplay is still true. Although the first few levels are downright annoying and cheesy (spider creatures = UGH!).
The use of "Bosses" was done well, for the most part, save the first main boss 'Mother of darkness' That b*tch was a royal pain in the arse to beat. Overall, its nice to see a vampire slaughter normal mortals with ease (as it would be in "real-life").
One point I really want to stress is the AI. Although, not the BEST ever, it was rather good. I enjoyed how Nazi soldiers would flee the area if they dropped something vital (like a gun.....or...like there arm) MUHAHHAHAA. Also, watching enemies actaully SLIP on pools of blood and chunks of their deceased comrades made it enjoyable. Just like a Jerry Lewis movie...well, with blood and dissmemberment.
Graphics: Graphics for this game are hit or miss. This is one of a few areas that could have been tightened up on the xbox. Chopping Nazis to bits + bouncing boobies = GOOD; sloppy animations/graphics on most everything else = BAD. This is a DECENT visual experience, but sub-par for what the XBOX is capable of doing.
Sound: The voice acting was a mixed bag. Overall, the mouth movement was near good. The use of soem swearing was actaully pleasing to hear, it fits the situations and I'm glad that the developer didn't "tone it down" as much as most games do.
Some of the dialouge is downright B-grade spoofy humor (i.e. "I will wear you like liederhosen (SP)). Don't get me wrong, I laughed my arse off at that!
The envirmental music was done well, some areas downright creeped me out with the sound.
Suggestions: First step is to knock the graphics up a few levels. Make is shine. Seeing Rayne's sexy arse and nazis being dismembered with XBOX graphics would be amazing!
Allow the player to Customize the controller to suit them better. When you do BloodRayne 2, throw in more "finishing moves", and keep more action coming.

Overall: Fast, precise and responsive also fun straightforward button smasher. Action was so fast it remind me 80s 2D side scroller shooter like experience. hand down sexiest 3d character model but nothing else. Good for 1~2 day retal. I was surprised the developer majesco are totally out of mind so that they are comming out with such bad graphic remind me ps one or gameboy like graphic at least psone games cheaper gameboy's games are portable. This game is short and no replay value at all. forget the first lousiana level and next two level are worth 5~7hr of fun gamming experience. and that's all.
Gameplay: Good--> Nice camera angle, Fast resposive gameplay, Exellent charater modeling, no hassle jumping action, Good AI,

Bad--> Short game length, don't be folled by 40 level of game by the advertisement. Story I can make better story than this game. One liner progerssion just mindlessly follow aura dot killing anything move.
Graphics: The lousiana level-->This level is joke. The average ps One graphic. Actually I have seen better graphic of similar game back in 95~97, For example Original tomb rider, resident evil 1,2,3, Alone in the dark, Clock Tower, Sillent hil, Sipheon filter .... Still looks good on Only her 3d Character I should save money her action figure or something.

Argentina level--> Big improvement But average dreamcast graphic. Just compare with Code veronica, ecco, outtrigger, Shenmue, Spawn in the hand of demon, Draconous, even crab like zombie revenge, and on and on.

Germany Level--> Slightly better than argentina level. Still lower than PS2 standard not to mention about X box(look for buffy, fatal frame, Enclave, Hunter, Sillent hill 2, hit man2, save for Upcomming great like sprinter cell, Brute force, Dino crisis3 and many other .

Conclusion--> you can use this game to demonstrate how console graphic has evolved between 95~99 Not 2002. Just a joke.
Sound: Music and sound not bad nicely tune to the game atmospher and face. But nothing special. Voice over was kind of mixed bag. Overal it was ok.
Suggestions: I think this game has potential. the Blood rayne herself extreamly sexy and her movement was good. and Some people like gore and foul language. !&%$@#* appeal and gore presentation will sell the game intially but that is paper thin idea of game developing in the long run. I like giving depth a game by let gamer choose stealth attack and onslaught attack both that should instantly give a game depth and fix many problem in gameplay-wise. Cose quently, Game length will be longer.

Water effect obviously need a improvement.

Overall: The game is tiiiiiight....overall the main appeal is that u can kik !&%$@#* with style, and suk thier bloooooooooooooood.
Gameplay: Whats cool about this game is that you have to use your noggin, some levels require thinking which is good and bad, some people are dumb, so for the dumb ones out thier dont get ths game, nah im playin, for the dumb ones u can look at the sweet movements that the lady charactors make, when running, bouncy bouncy, overall the gameplay is solid.....
Graphics: Good graphics, veryyyyyyy detailed on the main character, hair swaying, bullets going into walls, the slashes of her knife on the walls, outside atomospheric weather changes, oh yea and the developers seemed to take very precise interest on the breast movements when they run, verrrryyyy niiiice. LOL, but i think they could have done better on the water graphic and the zombie like creatures as well needed more texture.
Sound: ehhh, the sounds ok. the lightning sounded cool in 5.1 surround sound, kinda creepy erie music which is just in time for the scary Halloween feeling.
Suggestions: make the water more detailed, other then that its an ok game, seems like Dino Crisis meets Resident Evil, overall cool game, but if u ever make a second one, take in mind that the atmospheric levels could be detailed better.

Overall: I must say, I wasn't expecting too much
out of this game, but I am impressed
overall. I was really looking forward to
Buffy, but this game kills Buffy. The
character movements, atmosphere,
gameplay are all done very well.
Depending on how these next few levels
go, I would definitely consider buying it.
Gameplay: There's a lot of talking in the beginning,
explaining moves and stuff, which I found
a little confusing, but once you get into
the game and mess with the controls a
bit, you pick it up very quick. Not much
technique involved in the killing...left
trigger slices, right trigger shoots.
Character animations are very good. It's
a little bit of a thinker, figuring out how to
get into buildings and stuff...it's a fun
game.
Graphics: If only they used high res textures...how
many games will we say that about?! The
lighting and environments are done
extremely well. The atmosphere is there.
Sucks you in. Characters look real good.
I give it a 5 despite the slightly lower res
textures.
Sound: Sound was OK. Nothing to write home
about. The atmospheric sounds helped
build the mood real well.
Suggestions: High res textures would have made this
an xbox goodie.
