Overall: Hello everybody im ready for a nice driving challenge ! I've chosen this game because I heard that it was like the movie the fast and the furious. I was really excited about trying drag races and linear races. But in fact this game was so bad that it is in my blacklist. Imagine 30 vehicles ( approximately ), 40 events and four countries, that probably sound good to you but its not and trust me man ! First of all we have the story mode that can be finish in 7 hours maximum because its totally easy to be in the top three drivers on seven but that's not why this game is so cheap, im talking about the races man, four countries but to me it sounds like 4 races because its always the same races with new shortcut. You will say that the game have a cop challenge and you can be followed by few of them, yes its cool but the ai of the cop is so bad that you just have to turn and that's all, you got them all.In an other way, they crash you in a wall when you are last or first and the cop challenge is so easy, you just have to kick a car three time and he is busted, a lot more easy than need for speed 3. The game also has the drag race, oh my god, this part was the greatest part of the game but when you have the best car when playing with one of your friends you will probably win and the other will probably lose if he doesn't take the same car as you and in fact the only thing you have to do in drag race is to push the right trigger and change your speed, just too easy ! In conclusion i'd say that this game is too easy and doesn't give what we want in a driving game ( plenty of courses, good mini-games in multi-player or mod )
Gameplay: Oh my god i played rallisport challenge and project gotham racing and i was feeling really happy to have a nice gameplay like that, i mean its so realistic than you feel the car in your hand but i don't talk about test drive. In this game if you are trying to do like rsc you will probably crash into a wall, yes you heard that, if you put the brakes on you will crash into a !&%$@#* wall but if you keep your acceleration and just give a break to your right trigger that will be fine. What the hell man i found that it was one of the most boring gameplay. I forgot something , when you are driving and you crashed yourself in a another car you will do a 360 spin and when you will accelerate your tires will stock in place and it will take like 10 second before it finishes. Ah ! An another thing : when you are driving near a opponent, he will run like the hell to pass you but when you do 4 accident in a row, they will run at 20 km/h, it makes the game easier but also more stupid !
Graphics: You know rsc and pgr are the best sport racing graphic that we ever saw on x-box and other console but when i saw those of test drive i said to a friend of mine, man check that it looks like your old ps1 graphic and he said : you have totally reason dude ! You know you can also play pong the atari first game on test drive, personnaly i was having more fun in that game who was programmed like a !&%$@#* because the ball passes through our little block.
Sound: Oh my god this is the best part of the game because you have songs that look like dangerous, you want a example : Furious, Ja rule (pretty cool song). But after a while its always the same songs, the random engine is bugged because i heard like five times in a row the song Furious.
Suggestions: Don't make an another test drive game because its so poor or make more races for drag race and races that look like different in linear and also mini-games, Oh ! also better graphic and a new random engine . I forgot something but its truly important for your paintshop please we want an another own paintshop because the one that you created is bad enough to make a beautiful car look like a c-r-a-p .

Overall: Ok. This will be simple, this game is the one of the worst xbox titles in history. Its a slap-in-the-face to microsoft and its xbox to put this on the system..why you ask, simple THE GAME SUCKS. It has graphics that just beat Playstaion one. There is nothing amazing about it that make it better than the rest and it is a humiliation to xbox.
Gameplay: The gameplay is ok...I mean its ur typical racing game, with a dragstrip added in. The controls aren't that great and the control it self of the cars is crappy to. This is an overall bad game for the xbox.
Graphics: The graphics are truly horrible. I mean come on there are PS1 graphics that look better. Can't the xbox do better..I just think this game is a waste of time.
Sound: Sound..ha..ha..ha i mean come on, there is non, it is all barrowed from some other game that was probaly never heard of.

Overall: Test Drive offers the player a unique opportunity to experience high speed street racing through the eyes of the driver in a very graphically pleasing enviroment. This game is worth the money to buy it!
Gameplay: Your objective is to race other street racers in courses, or even drag racers, which is always fun. The competition is tough at times, and handling is good. All in all, it's a fun experience, but once you beat it all, there's no replay value!
Graphics: Test Drive's graphics are very pleasing. The developers spent their time on just about every element, including the scenery and enviroments!
Sound: Engines roar, people cheer, fellow racrs brag and whine, and you laugh. Test Drive's audio is pleasing and have some very nice effect sounds. A good effort put in, since you can play your own soundtrack as well!
Suggestions: You should've added Xbox Live support to have people race each other, make crews, supe up cars, and more!

Overall: I loved Test Drive 6 for the Sega Dreamcast, so I was so looking forward to Test Drive on the Xbox. I bought it on the day it came out, played it for a few hours, cried for a few days (because it is just that bad!), and hardly touched it since. I enjoyed playing the pong game that comes up during loading times much more than the actual game (neither are that fun, though)!
Gameplay: The story mode was lame. It's some ho-hum plot about you racing as a street racer for another guy, and you earn money and more cars along the way. I have no idea why they felt the need to change to a story line racing game, they should have kept it the way it was in the previous versions of Test Drive. Just shut up, race, and buy better cars along the way. The bottom line is that Test Drive is just way too easy, short, and nothing feels quite right. It's really bad all the way around. I can't remember when I've been more disappointed in a game.
Graphics: All I can say is that everything looks very average. With all the other good racers on the Xbox, you really have to do something special to stand out in the pack. Test Drive does nothing, including visually, to stand out.
Sound: The game did get one thing right, and that is the sound. It utilizes the custom soundtrack feature. The cars sound pretty good too.
Suggestions: I hope this franchise can be saved after this epic disaster!

Overall: Worst racing game i've play on xbox. I disliked this game from the first race. Lower than average graphics. Horrible and boring story. The voice acting is okay, but it repeats it's self a lot. Songs are okay, but i'd rather use my own soundtracks. I didn't play this game that much because it was so bad. and pong (during load screens) gets boring.
Gameplay: Horrible physics, bad AI, load times for everyting, what else? :P The AI is just bad. If you're in first, then the other cars go 200 mph to pass you. If you're in last place, then the other cars go 20 mph. The whole race is around you. The police AI is just as dumb. during underground, it seems like you only have the same 2 cars forever. and the cars handle pretty bad. boo... this game plays horrible.
Graphics: it's a near-direct PS2 port... expect bad xbox graphics. The cars are pretty low in detail and the enviroments are also low in detail. seemed like draw distance was really really low. the arrows (to show you to turn) show up too slow and sometimes at the last second. sure, they added people in the cars, but they have near squares for heads :P Ugly game.
Sound: They got some big names for the soundtrack, but i'd rather listen to my music. The voice acting was okay, but when you pass someone, they keep saying the same things. annoying after a few races.
Suggestions: if you make another game on PS2, leave it there. you suck at porting. Project Gotham and Burnout are much MUCH better games.

Overall: Man, what a dissapointment. I thought the Test Drive game for my PS1 was better than this game.
Rent this one before you but it and waste $50 on it!!!
I think XBox is letting anyone make games for it no matter how bad the game is just to get their game library built up. This game proves my point.
Gameplay: Dissapointing and frustrating from the beginnig. The game cheats like no other racing game I have ever played. You can be winning the race by a mile, then right at the finish line, you get passed and lose.
Graphics: The graphics are actually fairly good but it can get dark at times and be hard to see the obsticals on the road (barriers that don't give you much room to get through).
Sound: Crap! The car sounds are terrible and were better on the game for my PS1 5 years ago. For crying out loud!!!, my 3 year old son makes better car engine sounds than this game. The people talking that you are racing against are very annoying and repetative.
Suggestions: Do us all a favor, find out how a car is supposed to sound and talk to the people that made Sega GT2002 to find out how to make a good racing game, or else don't make any more games.
Oh yeah...I want my 50 bucks back!!!

Overall: This game was incredible. Overall fairly easy but very inconsistant. Some levels in the first city were harder than any in the 3rd city. Very few bugs, lots of options for the game.
Gameplay: The game was awsome but had absolutely no true physics of the cars. The AI cars always seem to have some incredible 2 sec. 0-60 time even if they are in a '67 chevelle and you are in a Nissan Skyline. Opponents will slam into sending you flying and when you hit them you are the one to spin out but you learn to get past that bug and with the incredible gameplay you easily overlook that little bug. I love the police chases. Overall the gameplay well outweighs the two bugs.
Graphics: The cities are incredible, the people and buildings are very real looking. Parts of London and San Francisco are exactly the same as the real thing rain is perfect, you see the water the tires spray up and everything. On long straight aways you can easily see obsticles far off in the distance.
Sound: The soundtrack for the game is awsome. It has songs from Gone in 60 Seconds, Fast and the Furious, and a bunch of other up beat songs. Better than the Project Gotham soundtrack but the only bad thing is that you have no control over what song is playing.
Suggestions: make it so that when you hit the AI you don't always spin out and thay can come up and slam you into the rail. Make it possible for cars with quick 0-60 times to get a quick lead from the pack and not compete with high top speed hogs like the
'67 chevelle and '65 mustang. More cars and more paint jobs. Everything else is perfect.

Overall: I love the game. Plain and simple. It's challenging, fun, and there's a wide selection of cars, tracks, and gameplay modes.
Gameplay: Unlike that god !&%$@#* excuse for a game Project Gotham, cars do not slide like they are on ice, and the powerslide sound is actually tolerable!
Graphics: Looks good, but of course its also made for the PS2, so obviously it looks a whole lot !&%$@#* tier.
Sound: You can play your own music. So therefore, there is no reason why everyone should not give it a 5...unless you have terrible taste in music. And the powerslide sound, as mentioned before...is tolerable, unlike PGR.
Suggestions: Make your game the complete opposite from Project Gotham unless you want a game that absolutly sucks balls.

Overall: Honestly, I thought this would be a great addition to the Test Drive line. I was wrong. The graphics are not what I've come to expect of Xbox games, the physics are terrible, the story is pretty sad, and, well it just sucked.
Gameplay: The only appeal I had to this game, was the fact that it was a Test Drive game. I had much more fun playing the original on my Commodore 64 when I was 6.
Graphics: The cars look ok(not real like PGR). The lighting affects, well, nothing like PGR.
Sound: Good music, terrible ebgine sound.
Suggestions: Study Project Gotham Racing, not Cruisin'USA.

Overall: After renting then buying Project Gotham, I thought this might be fun. I was wrong. Mechanics of the game were off... and the load times? What gives there? Pong?? What the.... I liked the customization of the cars, but that didn't do much to save the game.
Gameplay: Gameplay lacks luster of PGR. I was relieved that it didn't cost me fifty dollars. Too much of the time you find yourself ahead of the pack just to be passed at unrealistic speeds you can't match. Hey that's a good way to describe the game. Unrealistic. Story mode was not fun and sometimes too difficult.
Graphics: Visuals weren't too bad. Cars are shiny and nice. Some circuits were too dark. I did like the option to change the appearance of the cars, but I already said that before.
Sound: The music included wasn't bad. Sound effects were not on par though. This game would have had a better rating for sound had it been able to use the players own music tracks.
Suggestions: Better luck next time.

Overall: They could have kept this game or atleast did more work on it.I know its a though job making games but if you do all that advertisment about it then make the game atleast worth paying for.
Gameplay: 10 minute gameplay. gets boring really quick. Its to easy it takes atleast 5 to 10 hours to complete.
Graphics: The cars look pretty good but could have been more detailed like RSC.They could have put damage on the cars atleast that would have made it better.
Sound: The cars sound like crap. The music is ok but I like my music better. The rain could have sound a bit louder.
Suggestions: should have made it more harder and used real physics. And make the cars have damage next time.

Overall: overall i think this game great, the car handling is great, they have so much good cars and it makes it look like the fast and the furious movie.there are so many levels and all most all of them are perfect and speeds you can go up to is perfect. i think this game is a must by if you like car games.
Gameplay: the gameplay is very good. the racing is very fun and the cars go really fast and there are lots of jumps and the controles arew very easy to learn.
Graphics: the graphics are really good. there is light shining on the cars and good reflections on the cars. the streets and enviorments look great too.
Sound: the sound is good. the engines are not that loud like pgr.and sometimes the music is hard to hear unless you turn the volume up good.
Suggestions: there should of been some kind of turbo to use, it would be really fun like in drag race having one turbo to use.

Overall: Overall Appeal? This has none, Zero, Nada, Nothing. Don't get me wrong, It's a great concept for a game but it leaves you hanging bigtime.
Gameplay: The Gameplay can be best described as CRAP. The cars handle sluggish, Turns are almost impossible to make, The Collision detection is horrid and no matter how much of a lead you may get on the other racers, they're always right on your back when you come close to a finish. The Manual is very UNhelpful in that it tells you nothing more then what buttons do what. It gives you no advice on how to do anything. It's lack of a difficulty option leaves you upset and frustrated as this game seems to be set on Expert. Now in all fairness, If you have enough patience (Which I do not)...after several, several hours of palying it may become fun. I just don't have the desire to sit there and get frustrated waiting for that to happen.
Graphics: Visually you can't deny that Test Drive LOOKS great. The cars look awesome as does everything else in the game....However, The lack of any damage done to your car when you wreck leaves you wishing it was more like Burnout. It would also be nice if wrecks slowed down your opponents a bit. Visually it looks awesome...but looks ain't everything. Visuals get a 4....Damage during wrecks would have got a 5.
Sound: I don't need to say much on this...the soundtrack is great and the fact you can use your own soundtrack is always fun too. Sound FX's could be better.
Suggestions: Better Collision detection, Less Sluggish cars, A better Manual on how to play the game, Damage from wrecks, Wrecks causing slow downs to your opponents....and the abilty to actually put some space between you and your opponents would be nice.
