Ninja Gaiden
Overall: Not Since the first coming of Halo has a game made my jaw hit the floor and stay there. Each minute detail in this game just screams masterpiece. The only part of this game I don?t adore, difficultyGameplay: Without a doubt the king of ?just right? controls (imho) on the xbox. I wonder how long the programmers were locked in the bowels of tecmo till they perfected them. Yes the camera can get a little annoying, after a while you learn to live with it.
Graphics: All I have to say about the eyecandy is PERFECTION. 60 fps , and some of the cleanest and original textures to date.
Audio: Oh the sweet melody of Ryu beheading countless baddies , the faint metallic bark of shuriken gone astray , is there anything team ninja didn?t get right in this masterpiece. The music seemed a little less polished than other aspects of this gem.
Suggestions: Work the the camera , maybe a onimusha-esque easy mode ( for when 5 hours of getting slapped around can come to an end). Other than that, keep it up and don?t stray to those other consoles ;p

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Overall: I was extremely suprised at this game. Not being a fan of the series I cant honestly say why I got it. it was new. After a couple of hours I was hooked on its easy gameplay. nice mix of fighting and tomb raiderish exploring I found myself pleased with the purchase. The game seems like it will not last long at all like the attention span of faithful buffy fans, im sure it will be a fun time. Gameplay: The gameplay was a sure delight. I picked up and started playing without reading the book. before I knew it I was pulling off rather cool combos. there are a few things left to be desired. The enemy is very weird. sometimes the vampires/demons seem like a good match while other times they are just airheads. This engine does have potential tho.
Graphics: This is where the only games real shortcomings come into play. The graphics are allright but it seems a little bit of ps2's jaggies has found its way into the game here. Some cool textures and creature animations. defintley not pushing our boxes gpu much.
Audio: The Sound in this game is very well done. i have seen the show a fews times and they have added in some nice show sounds and dialogue. buffy doesn't have the same ditsy voice as in the show ( of course missing SMG's voiceovers) but overall a good sound job. The music sets a pretty good atmosphere for the beggining levels.
Suggestions: This engine has potential. Maybe well see a further application in a game with a broader audience. I feel alot of people will pass due to the name.
