Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Overall: Well, I've had my eyeball on this game since way back when (before Christmas time) and I definitely had my hopes up...after reading some of the reviews about how it was pretty solid I decided I'd go ahead and cough up the $50 worth of beer money and see how accurate the reviews were. I'll tell you this though - coming from a skeptic - THIS GAME KICKS ASS!!! I never thought I would have this much fun playing a video game. You immediately become immersed from the title screen - picking your character, choosing their attributes and skills, and then learning how to do all the stuff. The mini games are fun, the main story is amazing (from what I know of it so far), the decision-making and how that affects your character adds realism - the game just rocks! If you are at all thinking about a game to splurge on KOTOR is the hot spot. You will not be disappointed!Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty sweet and it's very simple! The learning curve is about 3.74 minutes and after that...it's on! There is so much action and such a great storyline the only way you'll want to stop playing is to not pee yourself.
Graphics: The visuals are pretty darn good, but I was actually hoping for a little more eye candy. I'm not disappointed by any means, but having a little more detail would have solidified an already concrete game.
Audio: Oh my Lord...the sound is amazing. Having the surround sound up and running adds huge bonus points as far as immersion goes. Sometimes I felt like I was actually there with the characters because of the superb sounds and effects. On top of that, the voice acting is incredible! It sure makes all the reading worthwhile - unlike the pain I experienced trying to pay attention to what was going on in Morrowind...
Suggestions: Maybe a little more detail in the graphics and definitely some sort of online capability. Just keep 'em coming, baby!

Conflict: Desert Storm
Overall: This is a pretty fun game. I definitely went a day or so without food or water because I was so involved. Overall, it has pretty decent graphics and gameplay. The sound is adequate and the controls, although they take a little bit to get used to, work well. I don't think I would buy this game, but that's just because I'm holding out for Ghost Recon (and I have a girlfriend). It's a definite renter if you like these kind of games though. Hope this helps!Gameplay: Very appealing to me. I love this genre and the fact that I get to kill Iraqis makes it even more enjoyable!!
Graphics: The graphics are nice. Sometimes a bit choppy and I don't much care for the background haze, but overall nice.
Audio: The sound is pretty good actually. I really like the fact that there are distinct sounds for each weapon and vehicle. The music kind of gets repetitive though.
Suggestions: I'd suggest working on a more powerful graphics engine and to make the controls a little more intuitive (if that's possible). Also, I don't like being only to save a couple times per level. Other than that, I think you guys did a good job. Thanks!
