Overall: i was pleased with this game, it may be described as hard, and yes that may be true... but if you cant handle the heat... get out of the kitchen!
Gameplay: gameplay is very good, and the great physics and handelling are what makes the game great... the story mode is a good idea, but could have been improved upon.
overal very good, and a worthy rival to PGR2
Graphics: everything looks very good, and all textures boast nice bump mapping, and great shader effects.
neck and neck with PGR2 in terms of visual splendour!
Sound: crashes sound great, music is basic... and engines are detailed... but all rather similar... nothing astounding, but everything sounds good and their are no complaints

Overall: EXCELLENT. In my opinion, the new best racer on xbox, yes, better than Project Gotham 2! . A fantastic game!
Gameplay: Absolutely perfect. You can race thousands of cars from hundreds of different competitions. The handling is perfect. Superb.
Graphics: Immaculate. The graphics rival (maybe better) PG2 and really bring the racing world to life. Damage is great too. 10 out of 10 for graphics.
Sound: Excellent. The cars all sound perfect, crashes sound great, the voice acting is superb, atmosphere/stadiums are excellent. Great sound.
Suggestions: Make another one with even more cars/tournaments!

Overall: Want a racing game with damage physics? Want to race anything from small open-wheeled cars to semi's? Go it alone, or with up to 11 other friends (12 player on XBox Live)? Then you should check out this game for a measly $30. While it lacks a truely cohesive single player game (You go from racing a Ford GT-90 to a convertable to a "mini" F-1 car..and that just the first 3 series!) the multiplayer on this game is truely enjoyable. Ever picture having a demolition derby with SS Touring cars? And seeing what damage you do? This game is a blast whether you take the racing serious or just want to blow off some steam. Only reason why I am deducting some points is that the single plaer just doesn't grab me like TOCA 1's did.
Gameplay: Solid game play. Each car can be fully adjusted-be it gear ratio to tire hardness. Best tuning I have seen yet in an XBox title yet. And one truely amazing difference that is NOT functioning in any other racing title yet....your adjustments are truely applied! It is no longer just a cosmetic change...if you crank up your first gear torque curve, you had better not floor it off the line...that is unless you WANT to do a burnout while everyone else passes you.
Still, I have yet to find any sort of adjustments for the single player game...there goes more points...
Graphics: Theres something about seeing a brand new Opel without a rear bumper, one exhaust dragging the ground, the other one ripped off a lap ago, no rear window and the passanger door swinging open...all while your poor car sputters and putts down the track. The graphics still are not on par with PGR2 but they are fairly close. I would give this a 5 except for the horrid intro movie. When I watched that I honestly thought that they were using game graphics...gratefully they weren't. I don't know if they programmed the intro movie on a Commodore 64 or what but pee-you...they stunk!
Sound: A racing game is a racing game is a racing game. However, they do use distinct sounds for each car, some of them sound a little off, but they do have individual sounds. Not bad, but thats not what I pay attention to in a racing game. Oh, and it supports custom sound tracks.
Suggestions: Bring back the options in single player from TOCA 1. The single player is too linear and it just doesn't make sense to be racing a bad a$$ Ford then switch to a friggin Seabring for the very next race....
