Overall: This is a 3rd person shooter and it does everything very well. The single player campaign is fun and even though there are 40+ levels they never feel repetitive. The multiplayer mode is a blast with four player support via split screen. The cover makes it look like a kiddie platformer, but its definitely meant for an older crowd. This one belongs in any action shooter fan's collection.
Gameplay: The main premise of the game involves traversing the levels blasting evil bots into oblivion. Most of the time your on foot as Glitch (the Main character), but the game breaks that up with vehicle missions and levels when you assume the role of another bot helping Glitch. The single player game is really solid and I enjoyed most of it. I beat it on Normal difficulty and with the exception of a couple levels didn't have too much trouble completing it. However I find myself replaying most of the levels trying to find all the secret chips (used to unlock multiplayer levels) and getting the speed chips by beating the levels in a certain amount of time. The multiplayer mode is quite a bit of fun, too bad it doesn't support system link. Even with the lack system link the maps are well designed for four players and my primary gripe is that you have to get an enormous amount of secret chips to unlock everything. On a final note the story does a good job of tying the levels into each other and even has some quite humorous moments in it.
Graphics: The game has a distinct look to it and I personally like the atmosphere and cartoonish look the developers used. The animation is great for all the bots. You can blow the bots apart piece by piece. Sometimes one hit wnn't kill them and they'll run around screaming with their head and arms hanging by wires flopping all over. Or even better you blow their torso off and leave them as a pair of legs wandering around. The framerate is rock solid even with a large amount of action taking place on screen, in fact, I can't even remember when a instance when the framerate dropped. One bad thing is there is screen tearing but it doesn't affect the playing experience and I just note it because I'm a stickler about such things.
Sound: Entertaining script, especially of grumpy cursy Krunk. Some of the evil robots have a gas problem and fart at random. Overall the voice acting is above average and bumps up the entertainment value of the game.

Overall: Metal Arms may seem like a kiddy little platformer with half hearted gun battles on the outside, but when you pop in the disc into your Xbox and start it up, you quickly find out this is no kiddy game, but is meant for people of Halo calibur.
Gameplay: Great games have great gameplay of course! And Metal Arms has it, it is constant sniping, shooting, sneaking and much more. This game is has the excitment of Burn Out 2 (Another exelent game) and the simple greatness of Halo.
Graphics: The graphics in this game is a solid 4.5, sharp textures, reflections, pixal shaded water, and even some bumpmapping.
The character detail is very high and the animation is great, plus, the vehicle phisics are great.
Sound: I love Krunk! The cursing engineer robot voiced by Dan Castenella (I hope I spelled it right) the voice actor for Homer Simpson! The gun sound effects are awesome, and the 5.1 Surround Sound is great.
Suggestions: Put in a helicopter and more boss like battles in the sequel, and keep up the great work!

Overall: A surprise 5 of 5 game that provides addictive, compelling game play with sweet graphics, challenging levels, great humor and lots and lots of things to blow up.
Gameplay: A 3rd person kill-fest which actually throws in some great strategy and rewards you for exploration of the large and visually impressive levels. Many different weapon types (Each with limited ammunition) add to the strategic element of the game. It's a surprise hit and it's all about the great gameplay.
Now that I've beat the game on single player, I'm looking forward to the muli-player play.
Graphics: Though this came out for multiple systems, the Xbox version is the best (well, duh). Great visual effects, in-game engine cut scenes, level design and look.
Sound: Great sound effects, though I had to turn off the music after about 10 levels (It wasn't terrible though, just.. repetitive)
Suggestions: Where's my sequel?!

Overall: I love this game. It is faced-paced, funny, and an all around awsome game. The gameplay is great, multiplayer is awsome, and I will play this game for a long time to come.
Gameplay: You play as glitch, a droid found in a junk heap. Then you join the droid resistance and your start to run missions for them against the Milbots. The gameplay is fast and furious. There are 42 missions and 3 difficulties, so you'll be playing this for awhile. Also, there are secret chips scattered through each level, and you have to grab them to unlock the mulitplayer levels, further increasing the gameplay. You collect washers to buy items and upgrade your weapons from shops. Multiplayer is a huge blast too.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty good. Nothing spectacular. The good thing about the graphics is that even with a billion things going at once, the framerate never drops at all.
Sound: The sound is really great in this game. The guns are loud and realistic, the voice acting is some of the best that I have seen, and the script is hilarious. Good story line too.
Suggestions: This game is one of my favorites of all time. All I want to say is sequel!

Overall: One of the other reviews said this game was Halo jr. I would agree on the surface, but a cartoony aspect makes it not quite go all the way.
Gameplay: The varied weapons and mission sets make this pretty good to stick with...but something about this title didn't quite do it for me. The levels can be pretty frustrating sometimes (don't get me started on zombie robots) but some comedy and mixed play works well.
Graphics: Not bad...I expected more visually, but for robots it was good. The weapon effects look cool and sometimes big explosions are good.
Sound: The comical sounds and bot noises, cries deaths sound funny but get old very fast. The cursing old robot is pretty good though.
Suggestions: I did like this game, but it doesn't have the polish and depth of story of other games...but good for a rental.

Overall: Great Fun game. It looks like a "kiddie game" but after you play it you realize you were completely wrong. I love the opening scene. It has great multiplayer too. This game hasn't gotten the attention it should!
Gameplay: Fun addictive gameplay I'm only on like the 4th level out of 42 but I've played a lot of multiplayer. I love the vehicles and the are some sweet fuc*ing guns like the ripper!
Graphics: Pretty good graphics. Looks good when bots blow up. Good level design, I can't wait to play the single player and get farther to see what some of the other levels look like.
Sound: Nothing special. It sounds fine. Machine gun fire and the vehicles sound good same with when the greandes explode. With a game this good you don;t really have to pay attention to the sound.

Overall: metal arms is one of those sleeper hits
that truely deserves the attention of the
gamers,i don't have the words to
describe how good this game is and i will
wait to see the next installment of metal
arms, because this game is some kind of
unreal tournament or halo stile game, you
drive vehicles,shoot with a masive
amount of weapons, you can play with 4
people at the same time in a multiplayer
macht,is a very good game.
Gameplay: glicth is the main character of the game
who has to fight and help his droid
friends from droid city to gain freedom
and victory against the evil general
corrosive and his army of droids, the
gameplay is so easy to learn since is
pretty much like halo or unreal
tournament(you will find some of the
weapons similar to the ones in unreal
tournament) lots of action,lots of
weapons,vehicles too and lots of
shooting.you can't go wrong playing and
buying this game, besides is not a easy
game at all,but is fun at the end.
Graphics: visual are good, nothing great, but what
do you expect from a game wich is
multiplatform? nothing great right? its all
good in the end, because is a great
shooting/action game
Sound: the sound is not that great, but it could be
better,it should had custom
soundtracks.xbox live and sistem link
features for the xbox, but i guess
universal studios didn't expect this game
to sell well, ist all good the game rules
Suggestions: a sequel with xbox live or xboxconnect of
course and make it exclusive for the xbox
video console so we can see some great
graphics and sound and to the people
who is looking for a great game with lots
of shootinting and action is to buy this
great game its worth the time and money

Overall: Great game play, decent graphics, cool weapons, lots of fun????..to a point. This is a modern day David and Goliath. Never underestimate the little guy; Glitch can throw down with the best of them. I was very impressed with the diverse environments, especially the underground city. Some of the enemies are challenging (Zombiebot King!) but the real challenge so far has been overcoming the ridiculous Unhandled Exception level. This is where you start from a small inspection circle, run to locate a chip hidden inside the room?s lockers and then return to the EXACT position inside the circle before the inspector returns. The controls are simply not precise enough to maneuver Glitch into position quick enough to fool the inspector. Maybe it?s just me, but this level ruined my gamming experience and had looking for the any cheat code that allowed me to skip this pointless challenge.
Gameplay: Like I said, the game play is great. The controller set up is perfect, reminds me of another sci-fi shooter. Switching between weapons is smooth and the vehicle integration adds a lot of fun. Many areas to explore and things to find. I really like the feature that allow you to posses another bot or play as a autonomous ally. The multiplayer aspect adds real replay quality and hours of enjoyment.
Graphics: The graphics are clean and run smoothly. Lots of cool looking enemies, especially those that fly. Water, fire, and rust; they all look great.
Sound: Have to love the screams and rants of the Mils! The theme music fits the game and lets you know when the situation is about to ramp up. I was a little surprised to hear so much (bleeped out) cussing. And I thought this was a kid?s game!
Suggestions: For the sequel, add Xbox Live and if you plan on more levels like the aforementioned comptroller-throwing frustration level, make the controls more intuitive or just give us the cheat codes up front.

Overall: Metal Arms has unfortunately not received the attention it deserves of gamers. But if you're reading this review still, take notice because this is a surprisingly well-made action-shooter with a lot of heart. The game successfully merges a light-hearted storyline with some seriously intense combat, a good measure of strategy and a fun multiplayer mode. Oh, and the weapons in this title are downright awesome, especially the tether control device.
There are some notable drawbacks, yes. The control may be too loose for its own good and the game sometimes runs on the frustrating try-die-and-try-again design philosophy. But overall the experience is very entertaining and satisfying.
Gameplay: Very fun, despite some control flaws. Fast, twitch-finger action, some strategy elements, and a wide variety of play styles.
Graphics: Impressive. Huge, dynamic worlds, a gorgeous particle effects system, lighting and texture effects, and visible physics. Textures sometimes suffer. Framerate can be jumpy.
Sound: Good stuff. Not bad weapon sounds and it is all pretty good when on a surround sound system. No complaints i guess.
Suggestions: very well done. No complaints... its just not THAT amazing.

Overall: I agree with him the single player is hard I consider it like kinda a mini halo. the weapons are cool and so are da rides. GO GET IT!!! IT"S FUN
Gameplay: you are a little robot with his buddies and u face oder meany buddies. The only thing I don't like is the vibration I love vibration but there's way too much but awesome.
Graphics: It's great it's like halo's little brother halo's handsom(graphically) and so is metal arms except cute.
Sound: great voice acting the weapon sound is awesome and the musics okay could be better but, it fits the game perfect.
Suggestions: sequel less vibration maybe custimizable vehicles and characters great job!
