Overall: I picked this up for under $10 brand new and its definitely worth that price. I am a huge fan the of the NFL 2K series, but this game unfortuntely lacks the polish and refinement found in NFL 2K3. Its a good game but as much as it pains me, EAs offering is better. As much as I bag on the game in this review my brother and I have still had fun times playing it and a game that is fun must do something right.
Gameplay: The gameplay has a good foundation but definitely needs fine tuning. Sometimes the controls are unresponsive or it does something completely wrong like throw to the opposite side of the field. Plus neither myself or my brother could make much of a running game, it takes too long for the quarterback to make a simple hand off to the runnningback. On a good note the user stats system is good and I wish the NFL 2K series had some of it traits.
Graphics: The stadiums, players, and fields are well done. The players faces are exceptional with detailed expressions after each play. The animation is hit and miss with a heavy robotic feeling in a lot of the movements, especially when changing directions.
Sound: Excellent commentary, and a large number of licensed fight songs. Sega has got the formula for awesome commentary down and other sports game developers should follow suit.
Suggestions: Take time to complete the game before releasing it. But I guess thats why there is no NCAA football offering for 2004 from Sega, hopefully next year though.

Overall: Umm..after playing Halo and Splinter Cell for my entire tennage life, I was tired of killing people. i wanted to ram them with my body as hard as I could and drive them screaming into the ground. So I asked around to see what a good game was, and I was told to get, "NCAA Football 2003". OK...I almost bought the EA game of the same name, but I saw this jewel at Wal-Mart, brand-spankin-new, for $30!!! Hell YEA!
Gameplay: The game is really fun, but the create-a-team could use a lot, and I mean A LOT, more options. Being able to play a season with an existing team with a bunch of created players was about the same, so no big lose.
Graphics: The graphics are pretty good. The crowd people move individually, but the detail on anything outside of the turf is not very good. And a full complement of players, coaches, ect. on the sideline would be cool...and if you start beating the home team badly, the stands will be nearly empty by Q3...sweet.
Sound: The commentators are great. I very rarely hear the same thing more than once in a half, and I love it when one says, "He was more right than right there and the ball went to the left and he missed it..."-"I have no idea what you just said there, Jimmy."
Suggestions: Better create-a-team, and fix the clipping problem.

Overall: Overall, if you at least give it 1 hour, the game gets real good and interesting. After the first hour the game is really fun(like old DC games)
Gameplay: The gameplay starts a little boring at first, but after i played it for 30 minutes, the gameplay was getting interesting and deep.
Graphics: The graphics are kind of good, the animations r real good, only problem that i saw was the clipping(but it isnt too bad)
Sound: The sound is where this game amazed me. I played it for 6 hours and I dont think i have heard the commentators repeat the same phrase in any match. They keep saying this different things all the time.
Exellent sound.
Suggestions: Fix the clipping! And keep the good work on the commentators.

Overall: This is the best college football game around! The addition of the ESPN licence was a great idea, you can name players, and can also draft them into NFL 2K3.
Gameplay: The gameplay is good but they used last years 2K2 engine. Passing is pretty hard but it is realistic cuz you have to find the open reciever. If they used the updated engine the gameplay would be flawless.
Graphics: Once Again the graphics are good except for the fact that it uses last years 2K2 engine. The addition of the ESPN licence is great, complete with bottom line and ESPN graphics from the show.
Sound: The Announcers are great. They are not repetitive at all and dont repeat at all during the game. The team anthems are in the game, and the on field sounds are great.
Suggestions: Update the graphics and gameplay to the newer model.
