Blur Release Date Revealed For Xbox 360
Activision recently sent out word that their high-end, fast-impact racing game, Blur, will be heading to retail shelves this upcoming November. Yep, it will be arriving at your local retailer just in time for the spastic holiday rush…assuming, people still have enough money to rush out and buy stuff for the holidays.
According to the press release…
"Blur is the ultimate powered-up racing experience, where players collect addictive and intense Power-ups throughout each course, including the ability to blast other cars out of the way with huge bursts of energy, boost speed with Nitros, drop Mines and even generate defensive shields to fend off other racers. Blur features an intense single player campaign filled with over 50 fully licensed cars to unlock and intriguing characters to earn the respect of, and gamers can also engage in competitive and team-based multiplayer races with up to 20 players online, or on a single console via 4 player split-screen."
Sounds intense, eh? Well you can’t count out Bizarre Creations given their impressive track record with high-end arcade games like The Club, Geometry Wars and, of course, Project Gotham Racing. If all of the aforementioned features isn’t enough to sell you over on Blur, also note that the game features dynamic physics-based damage models and crazy tracks that put player’s reaction time and combat strategy skills to the test.
Blur is due out in North America on November 3rd and Europe on November 6th for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. For more info on the game be sure to visit the Official Website.
