Shoot Zombies in Call of Duty: WAW

Publisher Activision and developer Treyarch have revealed a four-player co-op zombie-killing mode for Call of Duty: World at War. In this mode, players and three of their friends will get a chance to kill wave after wave of Nazi-zombies.

CVG reports that waves are infinite and get progressively harder. Reportedly, Treyarch developers never got past the 23rd wave. Giving players a fighting chance, the mode rewards kills with cash. Gamers can then use their money to purchase barricades, equipment, and weapons.

While the fifth installment of Call of Duty is set during World War II, the developers did tease a scenario never seen before in a Call of Duty game on its web site. "Now, what exactly will Call of Duty: World at War bring the players in the way of Co-Op? Let’s see... Unfortunately I can’t talk about everything just yet; however, I can tell you that we do have a third Co-Op experience in store, which I promise is like nothing you’ve ever seen before in a Call of Duty game…"

You can try your hand against the Nazi-zombies when Call of Duty: World at War releases on November 11.
