Ace Combat 6 Release Date Announced

It’s official: the much awaited Ace Combat title for the Xbox 360 will be available for purchase starting October 23. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, the latest addition to the famous flight sim franchise once exclusive to the PlayStation, will have players control not only his aircraft, but dole out orders to supporting units as well. As mentioned in previous related articles here in QJ, ground troops as well as naval fleets will be available at your command, and in addition to those already awesome support there will also be other fighter planes, tanks, and some heavy bombers. Each type of support will have their own pros and cons, so be sure to choose the proper reinforcements. Namco Bandai is particularly proud of its latest opus for the Ace Combat series. Makoto Iwai, Senior Vice President and COO of Namco Bandai Games America Inc., has this to say about the game: Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation is the most robust Ace Combat game to date and will be a killer flight action game to own on the Xbox. With some of the most incredible and realistic HD graphics ever seen and extensive online multiplayer modes, there will be no other game out on the market like it. The game will have an estimated retail price of US$ 59.99, and the exclusive limited edition Ace Combat 6 ACE-EDGE Flightstick bundle will cost eager gamers’ pockets around US$ 149.99. The Flightstick bundle will also be released on October 23.
