Lost Planet Finds New Maps
Lost Planet, one of the top 10 most played Xbox Live games since its release in January, is set to expand. Capcom announced plans to release three map packs for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The first map pack will be made available March 9 for 400 Microsoft Points (US$5). The March map pack includes two new multiplayer arenas: Radar Field, described as a "close quarters facility" and Island 902, which features a series of islands connected by bridges. "Were committed to bringing new content to the thriving community of Lost Planet fans," said Charles Bellfield, Capcoms vice president of marketing. "The development team is steadily working on additional environments to provide players with new ways to enjoy the intense Lost Planet brand of action." In the coming months, Capcom plans to release two more map packs along with the Battleground map, previously available only to gamers who purchased the Lost Planet Collectors Edition. The Battleground map will be made available for free. Pricing for the remaining map packs has not been decided.Source: http://www.ign.com
