Xbox 360 Collegiate Snowboarding Championship
Burlington, Vermont–Burton and CSTV Networks announced today that Burton will sponsor the first ever CSTV Collegiate Nationals™ Xbox 360 Snowboarding Open Championships halfpipe competition. The competition will be held at Northstar at Tahoe resort April 22-23, 2006. Registration is open to all riders who have been full-time college students within the past nine months. Burton National Team riders Kimmy Fasani and Wyatt Caldwell will be showing their school spirit and riding in the event. Kimmy’s holding it down for Cerro Coso Community College in Mammoth, California and Wyatt’s representing University of Nevada in Reno. Snowboarders of all levels are encouraged to register for the halfpipe event at www.thecollegiatenationals.com. Qualifiers take place on Saturday, April 22. On Sunday, April 23, top qualifiers will battle it out in the halfpipe for the first-ever CSTV Collegiate National Snowboarding Open Championship title. Prizes include head-to-toe Burton setups, Xbox 360™ consoles, a ton of Xbox games and other collegiate merchandise. The CSTV Collegiate Nationals will crown National Collegiate Champions in Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, Whitewater Kayaking, Boxing, Triathlon, and Beach Volleyball.
