Dead Or Alive 4 Hits The Shelves
Dead or Alive 4 Slams into Stores After a tumultuous and tortuous torrent of delays, the Xbox 360's premiere and sole fighting title, Dead or Alive 4, is finally scheduled for a definite release. The title will ship to stores on December 29, 2005. The Dead or Alive series had been the stalwart sovereign of the Xbox's fighting genre, and hopes to continue that tradition on Microsoft's newborn console. For fans this should come as welcome news. After the initial tide of speculation and wonder quelled as the Xbox 360 finally released, Dead or Alive 4 was the next big thing on the horizon. The numerous delays and increasingly nebulous release date stirred a growing sense of frustration among gamers eager to play Tecmo's flashy fighter. With the announcement of an actual, official release date, fans need fret no longer. From all the media that's been released it's obvious that DoA 4 is a particularly pretty title, but it also boasts a wide range of Xbox Live functionality. The game will feature simultaneous four player tag battles and up to 16 players online at once. Fans will also find a highly customizable online lobby feature to help players from around the world match up against proper foes.Source: http://www.ign.com
