Activision Is Ready For Xbox 360 Launch
Activision Ships Trio of 360 Titles GUN, Call of Duty 2, and Tony Hawk head to retail this week. While actual Xbox 360 consoles may be hard to find next week -- if rumors of shortages are true -- at least gamers won't have trouble grabbing X360 software. Already Microsoft's Kameo: Elements of Power is available in stores, and today Activision announced it will ship X360 versions of GUN, Call of Duty 2, and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland this week. "We are excited to have some of our biggest internally developed brands debut on the Xbox 360," said Robin Kaminsky at Activision. "From the stormed beaches of France, to the lawless west and the streets of L.A., Activision's launch titles harness the power of the new hardware to deliver the most realistic and immersive console gaming experiences ever." It's likely that even more Xbox 360 titles will ship ahead of the system's November 22 launch, as Microsoft ensures gamers have plenty to play on the new console. The company released a final launch-day title list earlier today, which includes 18 games for North America.Source: http://www.ign.com
