Oblivion Cast Details
Bethesda Game Studios said Friday that the Xbox 360 role-playing sequel, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, will feature voice talent from British stage and screen performers Patrick Stewart, Sean Bean, and Terence Stamp. "We wanted to work with voice talent that really captured the emotion and drama of the games story," said Todd Howard, executive producer for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. "Quite honestly, we wrote the parts with these individual actors in mind. Its an honor to have them lend their talents to the project." Stewart, best known as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, will play the role of the Emperor. Bean, most recently seen in the Jodie Foster thriller Flightplan, will play the role of the emperors lost son and heir to the throne. "Oblivion is something unique, an entertainment experience unlike anything I had seen before," said Bean. "I decided this was a project I really wanted to work on creatively, and I hope fans of the game enjoy the results." Stamp, who played Supreme Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, will also lend voice talents to the game. Oblivion is the next chapter in the best-selling Elder Scrolls series. Players will venture to find the hidden heir to the throne and unravel a plot to destroy all of Tamriel. The previous entry, Morrowind, has become a platinum hit on Xbox and retails for $19.99.Source: http://news.punchjump.com/
