GTA: San Andreas Releases... Yet Again
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Releases... Again According to certain online retailers, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has shipped for Xbox. Both EB Games and GameStop list the game (called Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 2nd Edition) as "Usually ships in 24 hours." GameStop marks the PC version of the game "Pre-Release ETA: 9/19/05" and does not mention the PS2 version. In late July 2005, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was given an "AO" rating for the content unlocked by the "Hot Coffee" modification. Since major retailers make it company policy not to carry products with an "AO" rating, the game was pulled from store shelves, costing retailers and Take-Two Interactive millions. Take-Two immediately vowed to have a clean version of the game out in six to eight weeks. However, major retailers like Walmart and Best Buy are not listing the game on their webpages and may choose not to carry it given the controversy surrounding the title.Source: http://biz.gamedaily.com
