Xbox Live Arcade Hits Europe
Microsoft today finally launched Xbox Live Arcade across Europe, providing those who prefer their games a little less intense then the usual game of Halo 2 with a variety of retro classics. Billed as a social experience that creates your own, personal arcade connected to Xbox Live, games include the likes of Hardwood Solitaire, Bejeweled, Fuzzee Fever, Alien Sky and Marble Blast to mention but a few of the 19 titles on offer. To sample the Xbox Live Arcade free of charge all you need is a launcher disk, which is featured in all Xbox Live Starter Kits from today; alternatively if you’re already an Xbox Live member simply phone 0800 587 1102 to request your free disc. Downloading the entire game gives access to many more features such as multiplayer gameplay on a single unit or online via Xbox Live, while the launcher disc provides the means to download new playable demos and new games as they become available. The games begin at an introductory price of £7.49 for basic games, rising to £11.50 for more complex titles.Source: http://www.totalvideogames.com
