NARC Hits the Streets March 21, 2005 - Midway announced today that third-person drug-busting action title NARC is now shipping to retailers nationwide -- in easy-to-swallow Xbox and PlayStation 2 capsule forms. Playing as dual characters, Jack Forzenski and Marcus Hill, gamers must rid the world of the powerful international drug cartel known as K.R.A.K. But to do so, players will have to use their deadly firepower and police authority to make the choice of either playing it straight or stumble down the road of narcotics. Pursue illegal deals with drug dealers or be the law-abiding NARC cop. It’s up to you. "With the maturation of the video game market, the need for games that appeal to an older audience is quickly growing and the content of those games have to reflect this trend," said Midway’s Steve Allison. "Our goal with NARC is to give players the chance to play through an interactive crime saga where the player will face the temptations and choices of an undercover police officer without holding anything back."
