KOEI Goes To Singapore
KOEI Goes to Singapore February 15, 2005 - Gamers familiar with titles like Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Dynasty Warriors, and Crimson Sea should be happy to note that parent company KOEI has announced the opening of a brand new development studio in Singapore. Known as KOEI Entertainment Singapore, the new production house will be enormous by the companys typical employment standards and utilize well over 100 different people whose sole concentration will be to focus on creating online videogames. The studios first title has already been announced too, as Romance of the Three Kingdoms Online is scheduled to ship to Japanese and European retailers sometime in 2007. Moreover, KOEI hopes to reach more than half a million players with Romance Online in its first year alone. North American plans have not yet been revealed. Curiously, no specific system for the upcoming strategy game has been confirmed -- which leaves speculation as to whether or not it could be a next generation title for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or Nintendo Revolution wide open. Regardless of where the game eventually ends up, however, well keep you updated in the coming months.Source: http://www.ign.com
