Burnout 3 Tournament
The Global Gaming League (GGL), in conjunction with VIBE Magazine, Electronic Arts, and Peak Records, announced the VIBE Game Club: Whos Got Game Tournament. This tournament will be held online using Burnout 3: Takedown over Xbox Live. Gamers will compete for prizes, including a purse of $20,000 and a customized 1974 Monte Carlo with Davin rims and a built-in Xbox."Were very happy to partner with Peak Records to celebrate the launch of THUG Jazz while at the same time providing a great prize for our VIBE Game Club event with the GGL," says Marian Ensley, sales manager - Pacific Northwest region at VIBE.
"This car turned out to be one our proudest projects at VIP Custom Motoring," says Derrell Spann, director of sales & marketing at VIP Custom Motoring. "Everyone in our shop became so attached to the Monte Carlo because most of us worked on it at some point...we did not want to let the car go!"
"This Tournament is a natural expansion of the GGL into the online console arena," said Patrick Yee, director of business development for the GGL. "Winning a car equipped with an Xbox is something the entire gaming community can get excited about."
Players interested can sign up for the VIBE Game Club: Whos Got Game Tournament at gameclub.vibe.com. The tournament ends February 15, 2005. The drawing for the car will take place at the end of February.
