Prince Of Persia 2 Title Now Confirmed
Ubisoft sent out official word today that what was previously known only as Prince of Persia 2 (a title already claimed by the original PC game's sequel, way back when), is now officially titled Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. The official name reflects the Prince's growth from rather naive young fighter to a seasoned, darker warrior. Indeed, from all we've seen so far, the official sequel to The Sands of Time is much more moody and dark: a change in style we embrace heartily. "He's not the young, inexperienced Prince he was on his first adventure," commented Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft. "He is now a warrior of unmatched skills, with a dark heart and a penchant for pain. Knowing his fated death is imminent, the Prince must summon the powers within him to defend what no enemy can take away -- his life." The official sequel to one of last year's most accomplished titles is still expected to arrive this November for GameCube, PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox.
