Bill Bellamy Joins NARC
Midway today announced the addition of Bill Bellamy to its lineup of actors ready to portray prominent characters in the publishers upcoming release, NARC. The game is a third-person action shooter that focuses on the exploits of two undercover narcotics officers and their struggle with rampant drug use and seedy criminals. In terms of scope and mission structure, the game is somewhat similar to Activisions Spider-Man 2. Of course, these cops use fists, feet, and guns where Spidey might use webs and cute little quips. Right now four Hollywood celebrities have signed on to play characters in the game... Bill Bellamy (Any Given Sunday) Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill Vol.2) Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Blade II) Michael Wincott (The Crow, The Count of Monte Cristo) Additionally, Midway has also announced that it is working on producing an original soundtrack for NARC that will consist of recognizable hip-hop and R&B tracks mixed with "modern, upbeat sounds created by up-and-coming underground artists," and some original works from artists who have done tunes for previous Midway titles including Jelly Joe, Kenny Knox, Point Game and Bobby Creekwater of Jatis. In terms of music, expect: Hits From The Bong -- Cypress Hill Golden Brown -- The Stranglers The Bottle -- Gil Scott Heron Pusherman -- Curtis Mayfield Freddies Dead -- Curtis Mayfield Smoke Two Joints -- Toyes Step On -- Happy Mondays White Lines -- Grandmaster Flash That Smell -- Lynyrd Skynyrd The Professional -- DMXSource: http://www.ign.com
