Unreal Championship 2 Trailer
Once a Microsoft title, Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict is now in the hands of Midway. This is a good thing. As the hot new trailer shows, UC 2 is looking to ramp things up and kick some major ass next February. Coming exclusively to Xbox, Unreal Championship 2 features upgraded weapons, brand new arenas, extensive melee combat, and optional third-person view. Epic Games and Midway are promising a much better experience the second time ’round with aerial combat moves and Adrenaline Powers that can be used to deflect projectiles and perform devastating offensive moves. Perhaps more interesting is the appearance of some Mortal Kombat characters, fully realized with fatalities to boot! While that may seem like a strange addition to the Unreal universe, we’re pretty psyched for it. Unreal Championship 2 features both 16-player Xbox Live and System Link support along with a two-part single-player mode. You’ll get a chance to get psyched yourself when an online-enabled demo is released in January. No details on how the demo will be distributed, so expect more details soon.
