Black Eyed Peas Music In The Urbz
Black Eyed Peas have re-recorded exclusive versions of nine tracks from their upcoming album, Monkey Business, for use in Electronic Arts (EA) highly anticipated videogame The Urbz: Sims in the City. The game is due in the fall for the Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo GameCube platforms. "Monkey Business" is expected in November. Black Eyed Peas member Will.I.am is acting as music consultant for the game and providing custom mixes of the songs in "Simlish," the quirky in-game language of the Urbz. Additionally, he and band members Fergie, Taboo and apl.de.ap appear in the game as musicians teaching players hip social moves and reputation-enhancing missions. "Im a huge Sims fan and see the franchise developing into a lot more than just a game in the near future," Will.I.am said . "As a huge gaming fan as well, I see this as a way to do something really unique with our upcoming album and provide another way for our fans to enjoy our music." Black Eyed Peas music has been featured in other EA video games including NBA Live 2004 and Madden 2005.Source: http://www.sixshot.com
